@Thomystic The positive press I’m seeing has me very interested in it. I’m going to need to hunt around and see if any review covers every game on it (switch or otherwise). If you spot any decent ones that really explain the game please feel free to respond!

Wow. When I got an n64 and we wanted to take a break from competitive multiplayer we would do co op hexen. I don’t think we had a clue what we were doing though. May have to give this a try. Lol.

That’s a bit out of my digital price range but I’m curious about this one. Will keep an eye out for reviews.

This one looked very interesting to me. I don’t typically like online games at all, but I may have fun with this. Will keep an eye on it.

Question. For anyone who has tried it on switch 2, does it play as excellently as the first remaster on the switch 2? That game was horrendous on the switch but the switch 2 joycons have made it damn near perfect.

If Nintendo outright said “no” I’d be a lot more bothered. But they just said they have to get permission. I don’t think that’s too much in today’s heavy litigious and irresponsible society where even a charitable act can be turned into something else.

I dunno. If it reviews well and has the right price i think I’ll still get it. I’d like to play it on the switch 2.

Mario Galaxy 2 switch 2 please.

If they update the other two games to have switch 2 upgrades I’d consider that all 3 bundle they’re mentioning.

I was hoping for some switch 1>2 update packs being revealed in particular. To hold us over a bit. And then the two things I really wanted to see, and I get I’m not the majority here, but I wanted halo collection and I was hoping for the resident evil 4k series (3, 4, 7, 8). I get they’re ports and even available as online titles. But I’d like em on switch 2 🤷‍♂️🤷‍♂️

At least the hd 2d action rpg can scratch my secret it mana remake itch.

I hope they add all the new & remastered resident evils at some point. 3,4,7,&8 I think.

I wish they’d add a smoothing, which could just be the scanlines without the lines like the hacked SNES mini can do.

I hope next they’ll add some additional graphic filters for the snes. The one I use on my hacked mini is basically just their scan line smoothing but with the lines removed. Looks so much better, to me at least.

@JakedaArbok coincidentally that’s the last wwe game I played! Lol. Are there any decent “new comer friendly” reviews out there that go into details with how these games function and what the different modes are? For any system really.

Im going to Black Friday this one so I can get the most complete option for a fair price.

Are there any reviews out there that cover all the different modes and settings for someone who hasn’t played the series in many years?

Do you have any recommended review videos I could watch (not necessarily of just the switch version) that really explains how the game works and could educate me a bit on it all? The biggest problem I see with the yearly game reviews is that many kind of cover the games as if you’ve played the series before.

The videos showing this game running similar to ps5 level is insane. Especially after the abomination that was 2K18. I may have to get this afterall. Thoigh I’ve been out of the wrestling game loop for so long I have no idea what to do in this game.

@shoeses I’m very confused. I simply said I’d like to see superstars get content added and then you responded to me countless times saying I’m wrong because it costs too much. And that I’m greedy and selfish and how dare I say such a thing. As if that has something to do with me saying I’d like to see content added. They could add it like they did with Mario kart where they doubled the size of the game as dlc or through the subscription. Or did that never happen 🤷‍♂️

@shoeses sorry about that. I sometimes forget how much of a struggle it can be for people to read an opinion they don’t like and how upset it makes them. I will do better in the future to just say everything Nintendo does is perfect and that I’m totally satisfied with it and that I have no suggestions or alternate ideas for things I’d like to have instead. Hopefully my reply here will give you peace now and you won’t be so upset in the future. 👍

Also a suggestion to help you out in the future. Don’t put words in peoples mouths or change what they’re trying to say. For example that dollar amount you just made up on your own that I never stated. ☺️

So anyway. Sorry for upsetting you so much 🤷‍♂️. I didn’t think saying I would have preferred the other Mario party game get enhancements, add ons, or dlc would make someone this angry. I’m guessing when Mario kart 8 got all that dlc you were equally furious. But anyway, it’s not good for your health to continue this discussion so I’ll just leave you to it in peace. ✌️ ☺️

I’d have preferred updates to Mario party superstars. 4 to 8 more tables and 50-100 new mini games plus the usual the 60 fps and 4k upgrade would have been all I needed.

I’m curious to see price of them when they start selling separately. I may pick that up standalone. I like a nice joycon grip for my motion games like skyward sword and mario galaxy. Hopefully the Etsy grips I ordered come next week and are decent. 🤞

I’ve mainly been working on tears of the kingdom the whole time. Briefly doing some co op Mario kart and trying hogwarts. I have 800+ switch1 games still so honestly I’d like to see some more “updates” roll out and I’ll still be busy for a looooong time.

Capcom will release all the ps4 era resident evil games on switch 2 is my guess. Bundle or separate. Maybe 3&4 and then 7&8.

I’m looking forward to jumping back into Galaxy with the improved switch 2 joycons. Same with skyward sword.

I may be misremembering this, or maybe it was just a rumor, but I feel like there was supposed to be a third party direct following the release of the system.

I know you guys aren’t really wrestling fans. And I get that the game is delisted so it isn’t easy get. But wwe 2k18 is without a doubt the most improved switch 1 to switch 2 game you can buy. To the point that used ones went from 20 bucks to 100 bucks once resellers found out about it.

Also. House of the dead control on switch 2 is AMAZING!!! Glad you guys mentioned it.

Imho they need to change the course of them. Either make them free/super cheap. Have the timeline spelled out ahead of release so consumers know what they’re getting into. And develop a bot alternative that keeps the essence of the games available after servers are shutdown.

I wonder if putting out more games on the switch 1 & 2 may have helped decrease some of these releases. I feel like gears of war and halo collections could have sold well.

I wish 2k18 was still on the eshop now that it works almost flawlessly on switch 2. I’m just praying this one runs okay and that they didnt screw it up again and we need a switch 3 to play it 🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️

Wwe 2k18 is easily the best switch 1 to switch 2 performance fix. Unquestionable imho.

How about conker on n64?

The last time I played this series was the psp or vita. I felt like it got waaaay too in depth with customization options and choices that modified all these stat bars. I just wanted to play golf.

Is this switch 2 enhanced? Or just switch 1 being made functional?

When I first start playing handheld the screen always seems too blurry and difficult to see. Especially when rotating cameras in games like hogwarts. But after a few minutes I get used to it and am fine. I’d have preferred an oled but what we got is still pretty good imho.

Personally id have been okay paying 50-100$ more with a slightly different build and an oled screen (if that’s what it would have taken to get one). I don’t mind what we got, to be clear, but I don’t love it like my oled.

@SalvorHardin Hmm. Well in that case I’m gonna have to give it a shot. I would love to be wrong as I’m a huge fan of motion control.
