Excellent news! I love the series. Still need to do Valhalla I believe but can’t wait to give this one a try.

I’d like some 5 & 10 minute mode options as the game expands with so much more to do. Or easier unlocks for the characters. I kinda got lost as it got more complex and stopped playing 😔

I’m still hoping for a remaster of 2 & 3 before 4 comes out. Maybe a combo set of them. And prime 1 for switch 2 also. 🤣😂🤷‍♂️🤷‍♂️. Not to beg for too much.

@Metazoxan Yeah, to be clear I’d have got the whole package but I already had picked up a screen protector and case. Lol. Especially after the updates. If I get another switch 2 (like an updated model down the road) or set of joycons I’ll definitely get the full kill switch .

@h3s I bought the kill switch controller grips(didn’t bother with the whole thing). I forget what they’re called but they make holding the joycons absolutely perfect and as comfy as they can be.

Edit: They’re called joylocks. 20$ and I think 5$ shipping. Anyway, game changers for me.

I’m really hoping we see some more update options for games that have ps4/xbox versions. It’s the perfect time with the lull in releases.

And they gotta do something with that Lego switch 2 story from a few weeks ago. 🙏 One of my fav game series and I just bought em all digitally in the hopes they do a free or inexpensive update. Lol

I’d love to see some of these switch 1 games that also had at minimum ps4 versions get switch 2 updates.

Nice. Layers of fear 1 is one of my favorite horror games I’ve ever played. It was an amazing experience for me and as soon as I saw it on my meta quest I got it in there as well… can only play a bit at a time though. lol. 2 was okay, but not nearly as enjoyable.

After watching that IGN gameplay video from a few weeks ago I went from having no interest in this to having full intentions to buy it. Glad it’s improved in so many ways that it’s almost a new game.

Something you’re lighting issue reminded me of is that my brightness settings for games change depending on if I’m handheld or on the tv. It would be nice if they offered settings to switch between tv brightness and handheld brightness in games. I hate redoing my visuals every time I play Hogwarts for example.

Galaxy 2 is my favorite 3d Mario game ever made and second only to world for me. So I cannot wait for this and it’s an easy 10/10.

I’m very curious to see the price of 7 & 8. I’d like to buy them on the switch if they’re not crazy expensive. Won’t hold my breath though.

I’m hoping some of the reviews will touch on changes & QOL improvements that truly streamline the remake/remaster and if there’s anything that is still not quite “fixed”.

This game is going to need 9-10/10 reviews for me to go for it. And substantial QOL updates from the original that get rid of all the frustrating/unfun elements of the first. I don’t see it happening. I actually loved the first game but not enough to ever replay it. So I’m hoping this is a good game. I don’t care about 30 FPS either, so I’m not lost to them yet. 👍

How are the switch 2 upgrades for it? I see the price is doubled for that version so just wondering if it’s worth it or the switch version is fine?

Man I wish they could get half-life 1 & 2 on the switch.

Nice. I loved 3. My brother and I would do co op all the time. Funny how the remastered is the way I remember it and when they show the original between clips it feels like something else 😂🤣

@JakedaArbok Thank you so much for the detailed response!!! So to unlock wrestlers you can still just play the single player mode or are there some locked away in different modes? I saw some Reddit thread about triple h 99 being locked behind some impossible tasks or something and it was all about like cards and buying things. Very confusing. I haven’t played a wwe game since 21 or 22 so I don’t know what’s going on. Any help or guidance, even to a YouTube vid explaining things would be appreciated. Hahaha.

Is the game still okay if you don’t use any of that stuff? I saw the game is filled to the brim with micro transactions and impossible tasks to unlock every wrestler so I am waiting for a big price drop before I get it.

Love the series and cannot wait to get switch editions.

@MARl0 That’s my biggest struggle. I can’t quite tell if a path is the one I should go on because I’ve already been trained over the years that the easier one is where you’re meant to go (in most Metroidvanias) and the more challenging ones usually mean come back later. Silksong all feel that way 😂🤣🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️

Pre ordered it. Selling my 3d all stars to get this. Galaxy 2 is my fav 3d platformer of all time. I’m just wondering if the Galaxy 1 save will carry over. Probably not. 🤦‍♂️

If DLC that is priced 20$ for a 70$ game is close to a third of the length of the game, I’d consider it. But from what I’ve seen this is just an hour or two of content? Pass.

At last single player rpg mode (so it seems).

I was hoping they’d mention if switch 1 game owners could get the upgrade with a small fee like Kirby/free with switch online . I’m assuming yes but I never know what to expect anymore.

The basketball game looks fun to me. Will need to see price and some reviews though.

Can’t this be disputed by the fact that hundreds if not thousands of games already made had this feature? Secret of mana summons. Final fantasy games. Etc etc.
