How many motion only games are there? Has the exact number been shared? I’d hate to lose like a quarter of the game if it’s that many.

@burninmylight hahaha. Excellent. It’ll be like a nice surprise for me if it gets remade and I beat it again since I’ve forgotten whatever else happens.

@burninmylight I thought the last game where you play as both and defeat the elder god was a proper final chapter. Did it have a cliff hanger and I’ve forgotten? It’s been years so maybe I am misremembering it.

I hope they have major quality of life improvements (either forced or as options to be turned on). The games were fantastic in their time but pretty dated now. Though that last game was one of my fav games ever. Would love to see the rest of this series get more remaster treatment.

I’d love for the next switch to get back some of the Wii motion control/pointer capabilities.

I was hoping we’d see a bit more improved design of the joycons, thicker in particular. But I’m fine with it. I’m hoping the tech is just vastly improved as some are predicting. And I’m hoping maybe they’ll do an attachment to improve motion control for those of us wanting a bit more of a Wii experience (I miss light gun games).

Wish they’d have patched the monkey target in their last game. Turned me off to the whole monkey ball series.

Half the price and I’d be getting this one. But it’s in a sea of similar titles with little to stand out other than the property (which I worship). Hopefully it’ll have a nice discount down the road.

I thought maybe we’d see something about copyright because of the similarities with the characters. Maybe the ball. But not patent infringement. Very interesting. And vague. 🤔

I hope the side scrolling portion has controls more like the snes games than the returns DK games.

I was hoping for some better joycons but maybe they’ll feel and work better than I’m guessing they would. I’m still hoping they’ll do an attachment for a Wii style controller and light bar for Tv play. I love buying my accessories. Lol.

How does the gameplay get adjusted when you switch aesthetics? I’d assume not at all but the widescreen to 4:3 must do something. Is it just cutting the sides off and you don’t see as far to the left and right?

I truly hope so. If it is, including digital games, I’ll be buying it. If it isn’t, I may wait for a year or two as my backlog is legit 800+ games.

Like they came this far with coverage, may as well let those of us who have been following know how it ends. Lol. I won’t be buying the game unless it’s $1 to 5$. However I have followed development from the 3ds days so I was curious about it.

It can come out next year but I’d like some details on it this year. In particular I’m hoping they do a more hybrid Wii/switch style controller. Perfect the motion and IR style combo at last 🤞

I doubt it would turn things around much and I don’t know the expenses involved, but re releasing some of their legacy titles that didn’t make it to the current gen seems like it would be inexpensive and easy money. Even just branding them ”legacy releases”. Stuff like the Lego lord of the rings and the original Lego Star Wars trilogy for example.

I know it’s critically acclaimed but I didn’t enjoy it when I played it. It was good but just not something I could figure out. An easy mode that just walks me through it would have actually gotten me to repurchase it though 😂🤣🤷‍♂️🤷‍♂️

Also, did they just up res it to HD and that’s it? Or does the anniversary version have something new?
