Something you’re lighting issue reminded me of is that my brightness settings for games change depending on if I’m handheld or on the tv. It would be nice if they offered settings to switch between tv brightness and handheld brightness in games. I hate redoing my visuals every time I play Hogwarts for example.

Galaxy 2 is my favorite 3d Mario game ever made and second only to world for me. So I cannot wait for this and it’s an easy 10/10.

Sold my Mario Allstars to buy this one. Cant wait to play Galaxy 2 again in 4k ❤️👍

I’m very curious to see the price of 7 & 8. I’d like to buy them on the switch if they’re not crazy expensive. Won’t hold my breath though.

I’d like to see soldier of fortune get remastered.

I’m hoping some of the reviews will touch on changes & QOL improvements that truly streamline the remake/remaster and if there’s anything that is still not quite “fixed”.

This game is going to need 9-10/10 reviews for me to go for it. And substantial QOL updates from the original that get rid of all the frustrating/unfun elements of the first. I don’t see it happening. I actually loved the first game but not enough to ever replay it. So I’m hoping this is a good game. I don’t care about 30 FPS either, so I’m not lost to them yet. 👍

How are the switch 2 upgrades for it? I see the price is doubled for that version so just wondering if it’s worth it or the switch version is fine?

Man I wish they could get half-life 1 & 2 on the switch.

Nice. I loved 3. My brother and I would do co op all the time. Funny how the remastered is the way I remember it and when they show the original between clips it feels like something else 😂🤣

@JakedaArbok Thank you so much for the detailed response!!! So to unlock wrestlers you can still just play the single player mode or are there some locked away in different modes? I saw some Reddit thread about triple h 99 being locked behind some impossible tasks or something and it was all about like cards and buying things. Very confusing. I haven’t played a wwe game since 21 or 22 so I don’t know what’s going on. Any help or guidance, even to a YouTube vid explaining things would be appreciated. Hahaha.

Is the game still okay if you don’t use any of that stuff? I saw the game is filled to the brim with micro transactions and impossible tasks to unlock every wrestler so I am waiting for a big price drop before I get it.

Love the series and cannot wait to get switch editions.

@MARl0 That’s my biggest struggle. I can’t quite tell if a path is the one I should go on because I’ve already been trained over the years that the easier one is where you’re meant to go (in most Metroidvanias) and the more challenging ones usually mean come back later. Silksong all feel that way 😂🤣🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️

Pre ordered it. Selling my 3d all stars to get this. Galaxy 2 is my fav 3d platformer of all time. I’m just wondering if the Galaxy 1 save will carry over. Probably not. 🤦‍♂️

If DLC that is priced 20$ for a 70$ game is close to a third of the length of the game, I’d consider it. But from what I’ve seen this is just an hour or two of content? Pass.

At last single player rpg mode (so it seems).

I was hoping they’d mention if switch 1 game owners could get the upgrade with a small fee like Kirby/free with switch online . I’m assuming yes but I never know what to expect anymore.

The basketball game looks fun to me. Will need to see price and some reviews though.

Can’t this be disputed by the fact that hundreds if not thousands of games already made had this feature? Secret of mana summons. Final fantasy games. Etc etc.

A good review and an eventual 20$ price point will get me to buy it. But I’m guessing the game with the “already own the original” discount is going to be like 20% off. So it’ll be a long wait for me.

They gotta get that Shaolin Monks remastered someday. I loved that game. Never could finish it though.

Y should be actions and B should be jump imho. The old snes layout. I’ve always hated the fact that the NES and GB/GBA two button “B & A” action and jump showed up on four button controllers because “nostalgia” 🙄. It’s not the same when the design is diamond shaped rather than almost beside each other.

Switch 2 ports and updates please.

@VoidPunk @Lazz Thanks for the suggestions guys! To be clear I’m the gamer from this era who will probably love this game. And I enjoyed the parts of the review that detailed the general set up of the game.

It’s just, I have SOOOO much backlog, that knowing there are games like a ninja gaiden or a contra or a golf or a basketball or a micro machines or a puyo puyo or side scroller beat em up or a fighting game or etc etc style games in it adds to my likelihood of getting it rather than not really explaining any. I get the surprise is the appeal but I still could use a genre list. Lol.

@Lazz Do you have any recommended reviews that cover it well?

@VoidPunk This was exactly my fear. I get it’s asking a lot for 50 mini reviews, but this reviewer didn’t even give their thoughts on a single game. Lol. Sure a sentence or two saying the game they played was a Metroidvania may work for some readers but this is maybe the worst “review” I’ve ever read on this site 😂🤣

@Slideaway1983 I have not. I looked it up though and it seems more music sim/teaching app than arcade style game but didn’t have time to really research it. Is that what it is or am I mistaken? It may be too much for me at the moment if it’s a teaching app. I actually started teaching myself the piano a few years ago with Pianote and playground sessions and already do 30-60 min a night with it. Hahaha

Please get all the latest gen resident evil games on switch 2. 2-4 remakes and 7&8. 🤞

I’d like a guitar hero or rock band like game to come out with plug and play technology right into the tv. No more need to be tied to a console. Add a subscription or dlc set up for future updates/releases.

Upon reflection, it’s a shame they couldn’t get a game on the switch 1 though as now the switch 2 BC functionality would have kept it going for 8-10 years I bet.
