I must say I really didn't like the look of this game either, but playing the free demo totally changed my mind. It's still not my favorite art style, but the clever puzzles and game mechanics are so good, that is really all you think about when playing the game.

I bought the full game and it's some of the most fun I've had with a game in a very long time. It's a lot longer of an adventure than I expected, too! (In a good way)

Re: Poll: So, Did You Order A Nintendo Switch 2?

@Zufolobelisk I'm here because I've been a Nintendo fan since the NES and have owned nearly every system they've ever released. I'm here because I still love my Switch and want to keep up with games releasing on that. I'm here because I hope that Switch 2 turns out better than it appears at launch.
But as it stands, Nintendo has yet to convince me that the price is worth it. There isn't a "must play" game (for my tastes) and the high prices and key card situation are not tempting.

SURVIVAL KIDS! That was one of my favorite games of my teenage years and easily the gameboy game I most wanted to come to the Switch. I played that game to death! To this day I've never found a game that properly matches the feel of that game. It's magical exploring the island, finding all 8 different islands, figuring out the many things you can craft with some creativity.

I know there are other survival games, but for my tastes they're generally obnoxious. Survival Kids somehow mixed the adventure and survival elements in an extremely satisfying way.

I was 16 when I played Survival Kids, back when 911 happened. A couple weeks after the twin towers fell, all my family went to visit ground zero but I stayed home to watch my baby brother, play Survival Kids, and listen to P.O.D. Good times.

Re: Review: The Legend Of Zelda: Tears Of The Kingdom (Switch) - An Absolute Marvel, But Is It Better Than BOTW?

For me, this game is everything I wanted BotW to be and so much more. BotW was only a 6/10 for new. I didn't enjoy it very much. Finished it 3 times just in hopes that it would eventually click for me, but that didn't happen. I really don't understand what people see in that game.

Meanwhile, TotK is a SOLID 10/10 for me. One of my top 5 games ever. My enjoyment level is through the roof. Everything's like BotW but way more interesting... the abilities, the puzzles, the sidequests, the exploration. It's magnificent.

Re: Community: Which Switch 2 Games Are You Wishlisting?

I was already hoping to not be tempted into buying a new console past PS4 and Switch, and so far Nintendo and Sony are making that decision easy. DK and Mario Kart look good, but I don't need them. I'm excited for Metroid Prime 4 and Silksong but fully content to play them on my regular Switch.
The only game I really feel like I'm missing out on is Split Fiction.
