@AnnoyingFrenzy Nintendogs is way more niche than Persona. It's not even a real game, for something so niche to sell over 20 million is a phenomena.

Just look at the recent DS vote here at NL, no one even remember Nintendogs (which was the DS killer app back then).

@Ralizah GTA V is multi platform, Nintendogs was on a portable and a new franchise, and it's not even a real game.

Initially I thought it could be BotW2, now I am thinking it's a game yet to be revealed: Pikmin.

Nintendo added the Piranha Plant to Smash Bros and Mario Tennis a few months ago. People were scratching their heads, wondering why that character (and not Waluigi)? Nintendo don't do things randomly, it's all planned. Either there's going to be a Piranha Plant game or it will be a Pikmin game with that plant in it.

Anyway 7/10 is low for Switch. There's just too many games, anything below 8 is not worth playing anymore.

Give them another 12 months, it will be even better. Just wait for the patch a year from now and compare with the release version.

Look at Doom, the patch that came a year later improved a lot.

It would be funny if their games sold more copies on Switch than Xbox.

I just want a Burnout 3 Remaster. Since Criterion sold out to EA, there is zero chance.

This is the best game of the showcase. Shinen is the real master of Nintendo hardware, even today Fast RMX remains the most technically superior game on Switch.

LOL of course not. Nintendo didn't even mentioned the Lite or this upgraded Switch at E3, they don't want you to wait for the better hardware. Why would they exchange old units now? They are happy you are unwittingly clearing up the old inventory for them.

This is one of the things I hate about Nintendo. Unlike other tech companies, they will never tell you when they put out new hardware. They don't want people to stop buying and wait for the new ones.

I wouldn't count Rocket League as an impossible port, it looks terrible compared to PS4.

I think Fast RMX is still today the most visually impressive game on Switch, it's actually a port of a Wii U game. Beautiful visuals with buttery smooth frame rate. There's many games running at 60 fps on Switch but none felt like Fast RMX: it's like games from NES/SNES era, unwavering solid frame rate that never falters.

Why is NL using the drifty Joy Con? What happened to good old Pro Controller?

Anyway, this game is just a glorified hide and seek game.

Nintendo chose battery over speed here.

The new 14nm process enabled the new Tegra chip to run cooler. That's why battery last longer. Nintendo can easily increased the clock speed to make it run faster but will reduced battery life to that of the original Switch. Naturally they won't do that, in order to match the current standard speed for parity.

Homebrewers will have a lot of fun with this new revision.

This is actually old news, it's last week's news. You forgot to mention it's Nvidia Shield's Android. It can run Shield's game: that means Nintendo's games that are only released in China.

Of course profit is half of what it used to be: now there's only 1 console, there used to be a home console and a portable. Making a 2-in-1 console like Switch will inevitably killed the 3DS despite Nintendo wanting it to survive.

It looks like this series was made to be played on the Switch after all.

The Joy-con problem could dampened the sales. None of any Nintendo consoles had controller problem like that. The Nintendo Seal of Quality had drifted.
