I always love a good nindies video! Wonder what the last-second surprise will be this time? Cadence of Hyrule ending up being a ton of fun!

Also, I agree with @chardir, we need news about the goose (game)!

I keep my expectations low because from my last experience with previous Nindie Direct, i got nothing interesting.
I do really hope Summer in Mara, Re:Legend, Sikanda, Farmer Folks will be included in Direct.
If it isn't, at least i will got their updated informations from Nintendolife / Nintendosoup / Nintendoeverything / their Twitter / playasia preorders.

I'll watch to see if there is anything that interests me. It's been a while since there's been a new Nindie that I really like. I think Wargroove is the most recent.

For every Wargroove, Celeste, Hollow Knight, Stardew Valley and Night in the Woods, you've got a dozen wannabe 16 bit, metrioidvanias and 3 dozen random mobile shovelwares...

I hope we see something from Shantae and the Seven Sirens.

@SBandy The recent SNES controller leak for one. Which follows up a WAY earlier datamine of the NES app on the switch revealing 22 SNES titles. Then some of the more credible leakers have been hinting at a new Banjo game being in development, which is why the higherups at Nintendo chose the character to be in Smash. Theres still a ton of Pokemon Sword and Shield info that has yet to be released, like new Pokemon, Regional forms, Gigamax forms, and so on. Then there's stuff like the Metroid Prime Trilogy port, Pikmin 4 announcement, and so on. A lot of stuff has been coming out recently, and while it's bad to get hopes up I still want a Nintendo direct regardless.

I hope we get more info on Castle Crashers Remastered & Oddworld: Stranger’s Wrath.

Oh crap I just realized, will the FNAF ports finally get release dates in this Nindie Direct? God I hope so.

Still so many 360/PS3 indie games that need to make their way to the Switch. Outland, Braid, Fez, Shadow Complex, Joe Danger, etc. I wonder if the Switch will ever get them?

I always go into these with no real expectations and usually leave happy with a few Games that appeal to me at the very least. Like someone else has said, release date for cross code would be cool. I also fully expect Pine to be an " available later this week" since its supposed to drop in August. I've got eshop cred just waiting for it. King of Cards hopefully gets a release date of " available now." Can't think of anything else, other than maybe.....Cadence of Hyrule DLC( I'm kidding), or am i?

Castle Crashers Remastered, please! I'd also love to see a shadow drop of West of Loathing's DLC, especially because I emailed the dev's support team on the topic of a Switch release early last month and they said it was still coming, but it had to be delayed several times due to "dumb" issues cropping up, and they said they were hopeful for a release by the end of the month...a bit late for that, but I think it's possible.

I would love to see more WiiWare titles "escape" their WiiWare status and just become standard indies.

@Panopticon Did you know they released LW1&WotM on iOS at one point? Not the same with touch controls though; this game plays much better with pointer controls.

It bugs me that we never got a proper conclusion to the story. These were great relaxing games & I could totally get behind an HD compilation w/joycon controls.

@Thumbsofsteel Yes, I think I was able to download both of them for free when they were a featured app of the week or something. Controlling the wind is better with touch controls, but controlling Toku is better with a traditional controller. They would be right at home on Switch or even 3DS.

@redd214 I'm excited as well. I remember having a good time with the demo with family years ago, and the soundtrack is excellent. I'm looking forward to experiencing the full game - as Battleblock Theater proved to me, The Behemoth makes some great games.

NOT hyped for Hollow Knight: Silksong. Looks so "ugh, this again." I love the original Hollow Knight, but I'm happy with just having that.

I think the acclaimed platformer "A Hat in Time" was a leak. I think it'll be a good addition to the Switch library. I hope we get an update for Bloodstained; a stable framerate update would be great. I hope they announce SNES games for the online service. Maybe, they'll show the Switch Lite in action a little more too.

Yay! I was just thinking it was about time for a direct of some sort and I actually rather like these Indie directs. Less disappointment..
