Mario in VR, this should be bigger than what it is currently.

A few years ago when VR slipped into the game industry, everyone wondered if Nintendo will do VR and excited at the prospect of seeing a Mario game in VR.

Well, here it is. A DLC for a cardboard VR. Wa-Wa-Wahhhh.

What do you expect? Even 1080p is low, 720p for VR is terrible. 60fps is minimum fps for VR but Zelda runs at 30fps, you will definitely get nauseous.

The tracking is not like other VR games, it's just rotating camera left and right. This adds to your vomit inducing experience.

But now Nintendo has only one console for home and portable, 3DS is just there for show (their income will be 50% of what they used to have).

The grand old days of Wii and DS can never be surpassed.

Played this game yesterday.

It's very strange, at first it felt like a 3rd person Diablo, then it became Monster Hunter and Dark Souls. It looks better than Dark Souls, none of that awkward dated animations and physics. It's not a quest based game like Monster Hunter and it's not as easy as Diablo.

I like the interaction of the group members, even though they are controlled by AI, they are not robots like in Diablo and other RPG.

Oh and performance is great for this game. It matches PS4 graphics but still runs smoothly.

This is an anti-piracy measure. People had been doing mass downloading of games from Nintendo servers since last year. By donwloading I meant: using their Windows PC to download all the games from Nintendo server, decrypting them before installing in the Switch.

A cheaper Switch with non-detachable Joycons cannot be called a Switch anymore. Just like 2DS is renamed because it's got no 3D feature.

I believe it will be called Nintendo Swatch. This cheaper model will come with many different colours. Nintendo better make sure the Joycons won't drift as they can't be replaced.

I am waiting for 3rd party VR headset for Switch to play this. Don't want handheld cardboard VR, I want a plastic headset with straps.

Later next week you will be able to play the entire Zelda Breath of the Wild game in VR. The basic Kit will be sold out next weekend.

It won't be long before 3rd party VR headsets for Switch start selling. Using LABO VR to play Zelda is just laborious, the hands will get tired after a few hours holding it. I bet MK8 will get VR support in the future after the New Switch came out (with higher resolution screen).

These days Switch port can go either way: ARK or Hellblade. Trailer can never be trusted, preordering is for fools, better wait for the reviews.

I already played it yesterday.

Not as fun as previous Steamworld game. It's just a regular turn based RPG using cards as mechanics. Similar to Smash Bros Ultimate using cards in the World of Light. The randomness is the shuffle of cards vs the roll of dice that typical RPG uses to determined damage and defence. Chaining 3 cards from a single character creates a combo, which is neat but depends on luck not skill.

Hellblade. Will finished it tomorrow. Just wished they made a better icon, it looks ugly in the Switch menu. Please release a patch for the icon.

If I have to nitpick, I say they really need to work on the icon, it looks really bad in the Switch menu. I hope they release a patch to fix it.

Seen it before, it's just an extra connector for the cartridge you can use in case the old one worn out.

Hellblade on Switch proves that many console/PC games are fully capable of running on Switch. It just depends on the talent of the devs working on it.

Hellblade just set a new benchmark for what's possible on Switch. Let's hope MK11 will be just as good.

Hey NL, go and review Hellblade already: it's the best port! Even better than Doom, right now it's the most beautiful game on Switch. Panic Button is no longer the King of Port.

Use your common sense, a game like that running at 60fps on Switch will have to give up graphically. Either no reflections on models, blurry environment, low resolution, no anti-aliasing or all of them at once.
