Happy 25th Monolith Soft. Perhaps one of the most important studios in video game history. I look forward to the future of what these teams make and help out with—one of the most important purchases Nintendo has ever made.
I don't hate the idea of AI being used for game development. Games are taking longer to make and costing more as well. If AI is used in unique and useful ways that make things easier, I say go for it. Please do not rely on the crutch and use it wisely if it's going to be used. If a developer uses it minimally, back off. I imagine the technology is being used for a reason.
Didn't they say this for tears of the kingdom? I don't think this should be a thing to advertise; it should be more of a thing that should be expected. Like they know we want traditional dungeons.
@FishyS I don't think Nintendo has said much about which team makes which game before release. I don't mind since some people harass individuals or even teams making the games nowadays.
The knowledge of which Nintendo team makes the game doesn't impact whether I'll buy the game or not since I can look at the gameplay and decide if it's for me or not.
I want to be interested, but I am not a fan of the pop-up book feel that the trailer gave. I love the Runefactory series and want to support the creator, but I hesitate with the camera's perspective.
I imagine this will result in the game selling less and Nintendo will not take the right lesson. They will think DK is dead when in fact their pricing sucks a ton. May have grabbed the game if it was $40
I would give this game an 8. One of the first things I noticed when I started playing the game was that it felt much slower. Not talking about frame rate. The UI takes a while to respond. Before anyone can do anything, you must wait for the stars to go to your special bar. For me, the new music hasn't been hitting that much. I got to the glitzpit and, to me, it felt like the new music was being hidden behind some sort of Japanese-style music. Yes, I can use the old music, but I want to give the new music a chance and so far it's been a disappointment.
gets a chuckle from me that some have come into an article about digital games to say they will only do physical. like..."okay guys. Don't know why you're clicking on this article."
I may download Paper Mario since I can't seem to preorder it physically. Glad to see it's not requiring like 20-something Gigs.
@Lightsiyd I believe they are looking at critic reviews, so they are not going to use sales figures. A lot of sales figures are not publicly known so it would be unfair to include that, especially for smaller studios that don't have as much.
@Ulysses If the switch 2 is backwards compatible, sure. Pokemon is known for not supporting the new system until a year later. I don't expect them to release a better version for the switch 2. A personal belief of mine
I liked this announcement. I miss playing the TCG and with them giving two free packs every day, I wouldn't mind giving this a shot and see how it goes. It does give the same vibes as Yu-Gi-oh duel links, which is not a bad thing at all. Quick and fun games.
for me, this direct did not have anything I'd be interested in. I would give SMTV a try and monkey ball as well. Thankfully I have a lot already that I need to catch up on.
I want to know why Atlus does this with their games. Shortly after I played Persona 5, they announced Persona 5 Royal. I had no interest after playing the original game for 100 hours. It would be nice if it were released as DLC or expansion maybe.
for me, it does affect how I go into a game. I go in for the story and the gameplay. If I know the story already, the gameplay has to be decent and not feel repetitive.
I am jealous of those who enjoyed bug fables. I don't know what it is about it, but I didn't enjoy my time with it. I think it may have tried to be too much like Paper Mario and didn't try to push things and that alone may have brought the game down for me. I am honestly unsure.
For me, if you are not Kojima, the Muppets, Hello Games, or some big star that brings value or importance to the show, than Geoff does not care about you. Geoff went after Konami when they were having issues with Kojima. I would like for Kojima to keep his distance for awhile and let Geoff stop relying on him a bit.
Deca police is by far the only game I'm excited for. I would be interested in fantasy life, but I played the original 3DS title and found it to be pretty bland. The animal crossing elements don't get me excited, as someone who isn't into animal crossing. I want to play professor Layton, but will find a way to start from the beginning before the new ones.
With how many developers are needed for games nowadays, I think it's smart to make the project larger. they will need more space with the more people they will be hiring in the future.
@shgamer I will say that we just entered the holiday season. Most of the people who really wanted to pick up TOTK likely picked it up roughly around when the game came out. Meaning I would bet the game may sell a bit more in the upcoming several months for the holiday season.
I will leave a link to a YouTube video that explains pretty well why there might be some idea of their being a localization. I hope this happens for I love Dragon Quest. https://youtu.be/L2cPMQ5tQsM?si=VLjFEmmU2IP0xhRI
I am loving the game, but I don't feel like it reaches the heights of donkey kong tropical freeze. It's a great game, and I love the diversity of the wonder effects. I just wish the game was a bit longer or perhaps some stages that were like the overworld. Adding something unique or whatnot.
I found the controls to be a tad too stiff for my liking, that end boss is complete BS and should have a checkpoint in an obvious spot for those who know what I am talking about, and the music wasn't the greatest at some spots. I would have liked the multiplayer to be dropped and for the game to cost less due to it. I say this as someone who's not a fan of multiplayer, doesn't have people to play with, and finds the tokens to mean nothing.

Re: Stunning-Looking RPG 'DECAPOLICE' Will Now Launch In 2026
mannnn, I wanted to play this game. What has level 5 been up to that has caused so many games to be pushed back?
Also, I feel as though this game should not be open-world. I was hoping for something more linear. A bit bored with open-world games as of late.
