Re: Metroid Prime Engineer "Let Down" By Exclusion Of Original Credits In Remaster

link12684

For me personally, I don’t think it matters if the name is left out for the remaster. The individual still worked on the original game and that information can easily be traced down. It’s not like they are magical erased from the project as a whole. It probably would be easy to copy and paste all the names and there shouldn’t be a reason it’s not there…but it’s the credits so who cares really? 😅 im gonna skip them in the end

Re: Poll: Do You Want Weapon Degradation To Return In Zelda: Tears Of The Kingdom?

In my opinion, it makes sense for the first breath of the wild game that weapons break often. Often these items have been stirring around for 100 years unused exposed to the environments. With the sequel, I’d like some weapons to be unbreakable. Perhaps they can be a bit more basic or less powerful compared to the weapons you could fine in dungeons, ruins, etc.

@NCChris

I don't understand how my take is narrow-minded when you said the same thing. The two reviews were from different people with different minds. Hence the reviews should not be compared and held in the same light since they are done under other people. I would love an explanation of why my take was narrow-minded so I may see what I can change, but for now, I have no idea what you mean.

@liljmoore
It's a legit reason that people need to accept. Nintendo life isn't one person. IGN isn't one person. Everyone has a different opinion of what they think a game deserves on any rating scale you may make up. No matter what you say will change that undeniable truth.

Does pokemon deserve 7? Perhaps not. Does Sonic deserve a 4? Perhaps not. For me, I would have given Sonic Frontiers a 4 while others would give the game any other number. I can't comment on pokemon yet.

Peace

There are a few videos on YouTube that show off the switch version. When people got copies early, I saw a hour long video of the switch version. It runs fine, but definitely not as good as other versions. Maybe a constant mid 20’s when it’s raining and whatnot

Re: A New Bayonetta 3 Report Features A Differing Account Of PlatinumGames VA Pay Offer

One of my favorite podcasts said something interesting. There are three sides to a story. Two for the two parties, then the third being the truth.

I don't care for the drama and I hope to play the bayonetta stories at some point. Always been hoping for a sale of some sort. Things happen and people will be replaced for whatever reason. Treasure what you have now and don't hold any grudges, if you can that is.

I'm not a person who cares for sonic and I am not sure how people are excited about this game after watching the last few videos. This most recent video looks so bland. I do get what some said about breath of the wild...but I trust Nintendo far more then I do then the Sonic team. They have a large up hill battle in my eyes. Happy for those that are excited though

Re: Kingdom Hearts Cloud Versions Updated, Here Are The Full Patch Notes

Not a fan of the cloud stuff. Not something we can do yet and may need another generation or two before it can be a viable way of playing games.

If anything, I’m happy to see the option for choosing to have graphics or performance prioritized. Something I wish many games did more often. I love the option when it’s given

Re: Hands On: Rune Factory 5 Feels Comfortable And Familiar, But Is That Enough?

I really really want to play this game. I don't mind if there is no innovation or some grand new mechanic. It's a farm sim with a mix of fantasy into it.

I will say that I am a bit bummed with the consistent frame drops and pop in that occurs. I wish the developers spent some more time on this. May wait a bit to pick it up and see if their is any updates to the game that improves the game.

Re: Talking Point: A Poképro And A Pokénoob Discuss Pokémon Legends: Arceus

I wanted to throw out that money doesn't solve everything, talking about the graphics part of the article. I don't know if i'll be able to express my full thoughts into words. Here I go...

I believe it's more about time than money. Game freak could have waited a few more months or even a year after the Gen 4 remakes were released. This extra time could have been used to improve on PLA.
There is a time when you have too many people working on one project. Could it benefit from one or two more people? Probably could have, but I don't know since I don't know what was going on behind the scenes.

One other thing, I don't know if the switch could run something a bit more graphically demanding, but I definitely could be wrong.

Sorry for the essay.
