Re: A Speedrunner Has Already Beat Pokémon Shining Pearl In Just 23 Minutes

@gloom
And what is the definition of speedruning? To finish something as fast as possible under a set of rules that a community has defined. This is a legitimate thing and you can’t argue against it. You may try, but you will fail. Don’t like it? That is fine. I’m not a big fan on this run since it has no gameplay, but it’s valid. This category will be dead in a short amount of time anyways, but others will be more interesting.

I personally will continue to get the game and I find the reasons for the cons to be pretty sad reasons. Overworld areas are not that big, you can avoid over leveling by not grinding forever, and Graphics is subjective. I enjoy the look of the game and please stop saying it looks like a mobile game people. Easily can show you mobile games that look better than switch games. Stop calling devs lazy! They should take their time making the game, but things happen and I don't blame devs for it. I will say that I am disappointed platinum content isn't in the game.

@Moirayn or, you can have a Netflix style based system that works with every console they make in the future, so you lose nothing and the system can keep on growing. Why would you want to buy something as an alternative when you can pay a base amount ever month and get the games you want and more? Because you want the illusion you actually own something? Don't want to ruin that illusion, but you don't on the game. We are in the transition of owning things to streaming games from servers. So of course Nintendo will be moving on to systems like this because it's the current trend and it WILL continue to grow.

why is it that before any of this happened, people wanted a netflix style system for the virtual console., once they start a system like that, people are pissed? Yes I understand the games they offer are not the best. Also, for those that say they want to own the games, well, you never own the virtual console games. You are paying for the rights to play the game, so you actually don't own it. For example, you will soon not be able to download any games for the wii, and the same thing will happen to the Wii u, the switch, and so on.

@SLIGEACH_EIRE while they didn't say it was a new version of the game, they also didn't say it was a port. They would have said deluxe or something like they did with other ports they have done so far. It is possible the tweet was taken down or something since I have heard multiple people, that I trust, state sakurai confirmed it was a new project.

@SLIGEACH_EIRE As a person who keeps on criticizing you about ports, I think everybody has said what I would say, so I'll make this short for your small, arrogant, entitled mind.

If you are only worried about your games decreasing in value, then you are playing video games for the wrong reasons. People want the port out of love for the game. Unlike you who has a view set on greed ($$$). Once you called someone out for their grammar, you lost the arguments about ports, with no doubt. People can wish for what they want. We are human! Good luck trying to have people buy the wii U since it's dead now

@Bunkerneath that comparison doesn't make sense. It would make sense if you said "it's like they showed the car, but they didn't show the car running." and my response would be, "you can do your research about it because what you are looking for would be somewhere online. Google it." Not every trailer needs or has to have gameplay, and that's perfectly fine, for me at least because I can search in somewhere else. Welcome to the age of the internet, it's a great place.

@SLIGEACH_EIRE "Smaller Indie looking games from their B studios." well, since this game is coming from the bravely default team, which is one of their popular teams under Square, I wouldn't call it a game from a "B studio." could be coming from their bland RPG factory team. Also, what is wrong with the look of the game? It looks absolutely beautiful, and sure the majority of people interested in the game will agree. Yes having their more popular series on the switch would be nice, but something new should not be bashed because "smaller Indie looking games from their B studios." something new should be accepted, not bashed.

Re: Super Chariot Arrives On The Switch Later This Year

@SLIGEACH_EIRE I'm probably not the only one to point it out for you, probably the hundredth plus person to say this, but the first year and second of year of a new console is full of ports. The PS4 and the xbox one is recent examples of this. When you bought the switch, you should have known this will happen. Ports are a good thing and should never be frowned upon. It gives people a chance to play a game they never played before. Skyrim for the switch is a rare case where the ports were getting ridiculous, but there were plenty of people who never played the game and got it for their switch. If you don't like ports, that's perfectly fine, but you don't have to say, "It's an endless stream of ports at this stage." The game market does not evolve around you. Companies are finally realizing the switch is one of the places to be, and games take a long time to make (YEARS). Nothing happens immediately. So, stop whining, please, and thank you. (I am also talking about previous comment sections of you whining about ports, not just this comment section.)
