I will be skipping the event. The Game Awards isn't an event I enjoy now. Loved it like 10 years ago, but not anymore.

Edit, I also want to say that they should diversify the awards. One game alone shouldn't sweep most of the awards. Happens more than it should.

Think I've only spent like $2. Loving the game and easily something that I can play for a few minutes a day.

I'm done with articles having to do with Pokémon. Tired of the negativity. I enjoy playing Pokémon games, and I'm tired of people arguing about "graphics." I just like playing fun games, and a game like ZA is a fun game, nowhere near a 6.9, nice, and much closer to an 8. Tired of people and the internet trying to tell me what I should hate and what I should love.

I'm 15 hours in and I've really been enjoying it. I get the complaints that people have been giving, but I also think people are going overboard with their complaints as well. Okay, windows are flat textures and the city is small....Doesn't mean this game is an instant 1/10.
I enjoy the combat, even though is does feel a bit turnbased with having to move, moves reloading and more. I say I'd give it a 8/10. Looks great to my eyes, sidequests don't take long to complete, but the city is a bit small to me. I would have like to have some wild areas outside of the city, even if they were a bit small. Just makes it easier to have different biomes and feel more alive.

Personally, I do not like Metroid-type games. Having the open area to break up the backtracking I most likely have to do and do something else brings me more interest than any other thing Metroid has ever done. You have to do new things to bring in new players. If it wasn't for the bike, I would never have given a thought to Metroid Prime 4.

I see absolutely no reason to do this! I was really hoping to get the upgrade path, if possible.

While I agree with most of this, I wish there were more to this expansion, considering the cost is $20.

I never understood most "anniversaries." Why are we celebrating every 5 years? the 10th, 25th, 50th, perhaps even the 75th, and 100th make sense to me. 40th doesn't make sense to me. Not that grand a number

Not sure if I'm a fan of using this as a con. Should Rpg's be brought down a score because there are so many Rpg's?

A little bummed out since I finished the game a week ago. I wasn't the biggest fan, so I don't feel too inclined to go back and see what the changes are.

I pulled the card last night and had the biggest laugh. A shame a situation like this happens, but happy they are doing something. Part of me feels like studios should be able to use fan art. Otherwise, just makes things a nightmare to design and make for us fans.

I was thankful that my younger brother bought the game and let me try it out. However, I wasn't a fan of the jumping, so I gave it back to him the same day. The most important thing in a game like this is how the jump feels, and it felt awful to me. The same thing applies to the Rayman Origins games.

I want to play this game...And now I want to wait getting it one the PS5 if there is a possibility of getting it on the switch 2

Sadly, I believe that is the end of video games for you, at least from big studios. Prices will only go up. In the next two generations, games will most likely cost $99.99. I'm not a fan, of course, but that's where things are going.

Personally, I believe a decent amount of gamers will say they will protest and not buy anything...But will they? I am interested to see if certain games will still sell extremely well, despite an $80+ price point.

Mario Kart looks really good, but the direct was unnecessary. They really needed to show why the game was going to be $80 outside of the bundle, and I don't believe they showed that off. It's a quick review of most things we've already seen before.

@TheRealKyleHyde If you just want to experience the story, there is an easy mode. Otherwise, you can run right through the game. If you're wanting a harder experience, the games can be about 60-ish hours each. If wanting to experience 100%...100+ hours is about guaranteed.

A fantastic ranking. It's literally the order I had.

Everything got a 10/10, except for X, 2, and Torna.

X was left unfinished with the ending they gave us. I'm hoping the switch version of the game can make a stride in the story or even perhaps finish it. 2, was not a fan of some elements of the story and the gotcha system. Torna...Mostly because it was off the heels of 2, but easily was better than 2 itself.

Removing is a minor thing. Keeping said content brings a lot more harm than good by a large margin. So yes, removing those pieces is not a big deal.

I don't know why Xenoblade Chronicles X brings out the worst of the censorship people. It's a slider for one small thing and a few revealing costumes. If that makes you feel that bad, plenty of places you can find that content.

I am super excited about the new content. The ending of the wii u version was lame to me just because of how sequel bait it was. I wanted more but was never given any answers.

@Jeronan The story was pretty good. I will happily say that. I just wished it was better-paced, like the side quests at the end. The gameplay felt like an elementary action game. For a series as big as Final Fantasy, I would have liked more options and customization.

Please don't waste time with 16. I did not find it to be anything other than a visual spectacle.

I imagine there will be hints about future games, resulting in a lot of talk, as Skyrim and Mario Odyssey did for the OG switch.

I am a huge fan of these games. 2 was the better game, and I hope the series continues improving. I was really happy the developers took fans' concerns into account and made improvements.

From what I have seen of the game, it's very much a PC game than a console game.

Sadly, Sony has set a precedent that if something doesn't go well, they will drop it quickly. Also, they don't put as many resources into a project as needed unless it's their main console. At the moment, even their main home console isn't getting much from their in-house developers.

So essentially Elden Ring DLC will be winning many rewards...again. If they are separate categories, awesome. If DLC, or 1-1 remakes, is in contention for game of the year...We have a problem as an industry.
