Glad One Piece finally came to Switch. Hope it sells well. Would like to see more anime RPG / Adventure adaptions like this instead of the typical fighting games.
I don't have my Switch with me but I thought there was a page for Games With Demos, either under your account or from one of the main pages. Did they remove it?
Hopefully there is enough in stock for most of the pre-orders. But I still have to ask. Why do pre-orders sell out at all? Why can't I pre-order the new Switch and get it whenever it's available, even if that's months later, after they make another batch? Must be a retail thing.
One of the reasons scalpers succeed is people miss out on pre-orders and can't find the item in stores. Then FOMO and panic kicks in and people spend 2x the retail cost. If there were open pre-orders all the time, and you're guaranteed a new Switch at some point, why wouldn't you just do that?
@the_beaver I would hope so too. You could play Sky on Steam right now. Hopefully XSEED will just drop Sky and Cold Steel 1-2 on modern consoles and surprise us. I would love that too.
@the_beaver All those releases were published by XSEED and not NIS America in the west. IDK why XSEED doesn't port Cold Steel I-II to Switch when we have the other two already. NIS even re-released III and IV in a double pack. I assume XSEED would still be the publisher of Sky.
It was flipping awesome. Lots of surprises for me. A few games I could care less about but mostly great stuff for my tastes. And many of the games are coming out pretty soon. Go Nintendo!
Nice anime intro for sure, but as others brought up no gameplay or game graphics shown. After the intro ended I wondered if they were just doing an anime. Wait and see.
Most people say it's too much, what a shock. I think the bigger issue is Nintendo first party games are rarely, if ever, on sale. This is especially true with physical releases. So you're often paying full price 4+ years after release.
I would love a Switch port of Trails of Cold Steel I and II. Or are those not Marvelous games? I sometimes get mixed up with all the different publishers. The Cold Steel series has two different ones.
Have no idea WTH is going on but this sucks for fans. Preordering a physical copy of a first party Nintendo game is not a bad idea. You rarely save money by waiting because the games rarely go on sale anyway.
I prefer physical in most cases so this is good to hear. Plus there is the question of backwards compatibility for physical releases. Nintendo could probably figure out something if the Switch 2 were digital only, but I wouldn't want that anyway.
Saw a review on Switchup and they loved it outside of the performance. They usually go back and do an update video when there are patches for games. By the look of this game I bet the performance gets fixed. But it is too bad the Dev didn't postpone the SW release a couple months.

Yikes. Private Youtube videos? Are they really private if they are on Google? Put them on an internal server at Nintendo HQ.
