Stupid they don't release Cold Steel I-II on Switch, or on PS5 either. I guess that's what happens when control changes mid stream.

regardless of their age some people are just "old fashioned" when it comes to these things i guess. you can play games and also go outside, right? or grab the switch out of the dock and do both at once.

the closest example of this i have heard was from my older brother. he was over one day, saw my consoles and mentioned that i still play games (i'm in my 40s). he was never into games outside of my memories of playing atari vcs at one of his friends in the early 80s. i took no offense and he didn't intend any, so not the same as "go outside and get some fresh air."

I don't think a new Nintendo console will be out in 2024 but could be announced as in development or something. I just hope the "Super Switch" is not a drastic change, just more powerful with maybe a few new tweaks to design, etc.

I realize Bill and Ted is a well known licensed property, but I wonder how many crap games have gotten a second life due to AVGN. And how many were released by LRG. If we all watched Nerd play the games why do we want to own them? Plumbers Don't Wear Ties? Come on. I guess I just want to play good games.

We'll have to wait and see. Who knows. GTA VI is over 2 years away and we still have no announcement on Switch 2.

If stuff like this keeps happening, maybe in a couple years publishers will stop putting out exclusive trailers for TGA. Game makers don't need TGA to showcase new games. This is proven over and over and why E3 is gone.

Zelda doesn't need to be a Miyazaki Ghibli movie but it should definitely be animated and not live action.

Like most of us she probably made those comments thinking it was animated, not live action.

Old or new game, either way leaks suck. It shouldn't impact game sales one bit.

Figured a Zelda movie would happen but very surprised by the people involved. I knew Studio Ghibli would be a stretch but figured they'd use another animation studio. Nope.

Sorry but this doesn't help. If anything, seeing what COULD be makes me more sad of what WILL be when a Zelda movie is made.

Regardless of what content will carry over, this seems like a no brainier to have your user account transfer to new hardware. It's almost 2024 for crying out loud.

There are a ton of Gargoyles fans, probably more adults over time given the shows darker nature compared to the others. It's not unloved.

Not too worried about performance as I have faith it will be getting patched, especially by the time I get around to playing. Hope it does well.

If you were trying for the record on comments I think you might win. When Switch 2 is backwards compatible I will be checking stores daily for stock on launch, if not preordering. Otherwise I will drag my feet for a while.

These came out in January, correct? Which means their physical versions won't ship until over a year later. Ugh. Pre-order for 2 months then wait 4-6 months more to get your hard copy. Crap.

Love most 80s cartoons. Would like to see some other genres beside brawlers too.

Game looks great. Presentation was equally excellent. Nintendo at the top of their game.

I remember playing the hell out of Summoner at the PS2 launch. Terrible news. Hope the staff can find good jobs and make great games. We'll see what they do with the IPs.

If they HAVE TO make a Zelda movie, please do one that is anime inspired. A straight up anime would be preferred but probably too much to ask. If not, then I guess CG.

But no way in hell do I want a live action Zelda.

Hoping it's a great game and that it does well in the market as a result. Very much want a physical release, maybe even get a LE.

Until it gets better, don't use the eshop to look for games. There are plenty of online resources to find recommendations, especially for smaller games that don't get much coverage. Switchup is one of my favorites.

Looks pretty cool. If it does well hopefully NIS makes enough physical copies for us. I cannot find Trails of Zero or Trails of Azure for Switch anywhere at retail. And both games are less than a year old in NA. May not be able to wait on some of these new NIS games anymore.

There have been exclusives on consoles, in one form or another, since probably the 1980s. All console makers have done it. Why is this being seen as such a bad thing now? Where has the outrage been the last 30+ years?

And are people pissed off about exclusive deals with third party publishers or with first party? Should a first party studio from Nintendo really be expected to make their games for other systems, PC or console?

This is great news. I wonder if we'll see GC version remastered too.

It was awesome. I'm not going to buy every single game of course, but there were a lot of great surprises for me personally. I must have avoided the rumors. It was refreshing to learn about new games this way and so many are coming yet this year.
