I mean there’s over 4,000 games available on the Switch eshop! What kind of sales numbers is he looking for?? There’s no physical option either. It’s a classic indie game but there’s just too many other similar or even better games available to play. And at $20 being too high imo perhaps he should consider a sale or permanent price reduction?? 10 bucks tops.

Although it’s been mentioned above, the Taito Legends collections blew these away! I still have both volumes on PS2 and every so often I pop one into my fat PS3! And both collections were packed with around 65 games and were $30 each! I think part of the greed here is Square Enix who owns Taito and has experienced losses the last few years. But $40 bucks for milestones is insulting! Cmon

While many could argue that the amount of games per for each of Taito’s 3 collections is very limited AT LEAST they’re putting them out physically unlike Sega for instance and Warner Bros who’s not doing a damn thing with the wealth of Midway and Atari Games arcade classics they own!! 😡

As far as Ocean goes the SNES version of the Addams Family was amazing! Played that for months!!

I still say that service sucks for not offering the option to purchase your favorite classic games to download and own! Terrible!

I have to say I still go there because I still feel physical is king, but most of the salespeople just come off as know it alls and I’ve always felt selling used games for $5 less than the new copy Is just plain insulting. In fact how the hell are they in trouble with the huge profit margins that come from used game sales anyway?? And stop asking me if I wanna buy protection on the games for $2!! Know your customers- that crap is for moms with young kids who don’t take care of their games!! 🙄
Then when I told them I haven’t been getting my GI mag in the mail they said they’re doing away with it and would I like to buy the current issue? Buy the current issue?? I paid the sub so it can be mailed to me every month! 😡

Didn’t they say they had 800 titles lined up way back? If this is true I can’t imagine what else could be coming as we’re only halfway there! But if they could pick up old Sega titles that would be cool. I’d ask for Atari Games/Midway Games but that’s a pipe dream as all those classics are owed by Warner Brothers who doesn’t do a damn thing with them! I probably have close to 200 Hamster games. Anyway GREAT JOB HAMSTER! I am forever grateful!! How about some Xbox love??

Gotta love hamster! I wish they’d snap up all the Midway/Atari Games arcade classics from Warner Bros because they’re certainly not opening the vault!! It’s the biggest gap of arcade classics missing on the switch and ps4!!

Nice update Atari! See if you can grab the Activision 2600 library being many of those games appeared on the various Atari flashback consoles! I’d PAY for that update!!

Would love to see the 2600 Activision collection at some point!! They made about 50 games for the 26 and many of them were the best 2600 games ever created!! Stampede, River Raid, Pitfall, Seaquest, starmaster, HERO, Keystone Kapers, Megamania and many others!! 🙏
The absolute best Activision collection ever was on PlayStation 2. Emulation was perfect and had the full game collection with a few Imagic games tossed in the mix.

Just got my 2600+ and now Waiting on my Berserk and Mr Run & Jump games from Amazon and I continue to pick off 2600, 7800 & Jaguar games from AtariAge as well!! Love my Atari collection!
The Atari of today is managed WAY better then the Tramiel family ever could that’s for sure! Picking up Digital Eclipse was HUGE!

Wow this Atari ownership Is really making some moves. Like a month ago they acquired AtariAge and now this with DE! I’m impressed.
Also they’re snapped up quite a few retro gaming IP’s as well lately! And I’ll be grabbing the 2600+ as well and a set of brand new paddles so I can finally play a proper round of Kaboom again! Lol

@GrailUK me too!! Unfortunately we need Warner Bros to unlock their classic arcade vault for all games Midway and Atari Games. It’s the biggest missing retro gap on the Switch hands down.

Anyone remember the first Haunted House remake game that Atari came out with on the 360? A pretty decent game. I think it’s also backwards compatible with Xbox One.

Definitely makes the collection more worthwhile! I was hesitant when it was just the Nintendo titles. Now I’m in!! 😁

Switch 2 Backwards compatibility digitally and physically is AN ABSOLUTE MUST!!! Too many great games to leave behind!

I Definitely expect full backwards compatibility after all the physical and digital money I’ve spent on my Switch library. A larger console memory than 32-64G for Pete’s sake and MOST OF ALL a much improved navigational experience in the switch eshop?? It’s just horrible!! Ughhh! Even the Wii U eshop layout is better and has NO LAG!

I’ll never forget the first time I saw Fantasy Zone on the Master System and how it blew me away!! I was a huge Sega fan didn’t have an NES and was perfectly happy with my Master System, Amiga and Atari 7800. But damn the Sega Master System was impressive at the time! It would be awesome to see Sega do a Master System mini!! Day 1.

Again 10 games is a small collection for $35! Taito games are generally very expensive.

I still say they’re out of their minds asking $40 Game Gear games added doesn’t help justify either. Now if they threw in Sonic Adventure 1&2….

The most important thing to me is that it will be backwards compatible with both Physical and Digital Switch eshop games or me and Nintendo are DONE. 🤨🤨
Oh and straighten out the switch eshop! Absolutely horrible!!
