Unbelievable!! Could be the biggest 3rd party announcement for Switch ever!! I’ll never forget how GTA III & Vice City blew my fragile mind!! Day 1 for Switch & Series X but I will get all 5 new versions over time. I want the trilogy on EVERY current gen system! 😁😆

So it took them 4 years to add N64 and Sega Genesis when they both should’ve been there from Day 1. But what’s even more frustrating is they want more sub money?? For N64 and Genny?? That’s pure CORPORATE GREED right there folks! The only way I’d give this a pass is if they were adding GameCube & Wii Games!! And STILL NO DAMN INDIVIDUAL GAME PURCHASE OPTION!! Unbelievable what are they smoking over at Nintendo?? Must be good stuff because they are delusional! This is when Modded systems become the answer for me. And Maybe GameCube will be added to NSO when like Playstation 9 comes out OR when I’m dead and buried!! 🤬

@KingMike that’s true yes although I don’t remember seeing Xevious in there - arcade Xevious anyway but I’ll have another look. But either way this is a great way for hamster to beef up its lineup even more and as I said there’s plenty of Namco classics not available on switch yet 😊

Even if they offered a free content update for previous buyers it doesn’t help us on the physical copy side! So I guess I’m double dipping…again. Tossing in the Snes Aladdin does ease the pain a little even though IMO the Genesis Aladdin was the better game. But I still don’t understand why they couldn’t do this the first time around??

I know I have Guwange on the 360 which I’m pretty sure is BC with the One and series X.
Dangun Fevrun is on my wishlist but haven’t purchased yet cause still persisting at $35! Lol

I’ve been gaming and collecting since the 2600 and today I’m probably in the area of owning 8000 physical games and probably 1/2 or more are still factory Sealed. Running a business and taking care of my family has forced me to evolve into more of a collector than gamer the last 15 years buying games still thinking I’ll have a chance to try them one out day but of course, that’s how I collected so many sealed games now because that never seems to happen. Its also because i do buy tons of digital games as well, so if i buy Need for Speed on sale for $5, obviously my physical sealed copy is not ever going to be opened. Every once and a while just for the hell of it, I’ll mess around on eBay and search sealed games I own and sometimes I’m blown away by the prices they list for. DS & 3DS games are really up there in price lately, although mostly RPGs. When I show this stuff to wife with excitement and disbelief, she simply says sell it!! Yea Easier said then done. Ah she doesn’t understand! But Maybe one day I can retire, kids will be married & out, and I just MIGHT finally have extra time to do some serious gaming again like when I was a kid with no worries or responsibilities. Otherwise, I’d like to leave them behind for my kids to sell off after I die. Problem with that theory is, they don’t have the first clue about what I own and what might be worth something significant. I try to educate them on it sometimes but it’s tough…very little interest if any. My 18 year old son games but is definitely in the category of digital only and never goes to the store to buy a physical game lol no way. But when his friends come over to game with him, they go bananas when they see my collection which I do get a kick out of and some satisfaction from, after they tell my son how lucky he is lol.
Meanwhile I also agree with many here that emulation or owning modded systems has for me at least, become a must for a multitude of reasons. Old games with license issues that we all wish for but will never see the light of day on modern consoles, a lack of space to keep all my systems hooked up and an overall convenience as well. It’s real nice & convenient to have a modded Genesis, Snes and Nes minis with 7000+ games on them all on one tiny console and the kind of conveniences that many of us gamers love to have. And I don’t feel guilty at all about having them because only GOD knows how much money I’ve actually spent over a 45 year period on this industry and my favorite hobby of all time! And I will continue to do that ESPECIALLY to support any developer, publisher etc that brings forward classic games to today’s consoles for us all to enjoy. Some recent examples of this would be the 2 pack of Zombies Ate My Neighbors/Ghoul Patrol, the Disney classics with Aladdin & Lion King(now they’re adding Jungle Book?), Dragons Lair Trilogy, Sega Ages, and the endless parade of Hamster classics on the Switch and PS4. Every time one of them do it, I open my wallet immediately because IMO, they deserve our support bringing these old classics forward! Lastly, some of you touched on this, someone in this industry has got to try to figure out how the heck they can do a better job on video game preservation like they do with books and movies. When I read about stuff like Sega losing the source code to games like Panzer Dragoon Saga, it just makes me cringe!! Happy Gaming all!! 😊

Would have to be The 3 main songs from Outrun hands down! Soothing and relaxing and would never get on my nerves.

@MeloMan lol 😂 yea unfortunately- only time will make all this bad go away, like when you lose a loved one life goes on and time heals, for some quicker then others, but it does. We all have to hang In there one day at a time and try to offer each other respect and try to be better listeners.

@Scrubicius I meant first grade and stated 4 years old in error. 1st grade, 2nd, 3rd 4th grade - not much difference to me but for some reason 1st grade sticks in my head. anyway, So I Read about it in an article i saw i believe in the NY Post late last year i forgot where but I believe it was somewhere out in the Midwest. Parents were upset & gathered at a round table speaking individually and appealing to educators sitting at a deus claiming that children should not be thinking about penis and vaginas at their age and IMO yes i do happen to agree. Cartoon Videos were displayed explaining how it’s nice to touch yourself because it just feels good?? What? It’s just too young of an age. When I was in first grade I certainly never had such thoughts. My prime thoughts was my GI Joe doll with the Kung Fu grip lol. As far as being taught by a professional, that’s not a lock-in for normalcy. Some people regardless of profession, are unfortunately out of their right minds. Again 7th or 8th grade is more appropriate but ok I’ll concede to even 5th or 6th grade. Bottom line is I feel most parents not all, but most parents would rather handle this task themselves. My kids are grown now but we had our conversations when needed and I took comfort knowing that they were comfortable enough to come to me for advice or with questions.

Only thing I was trying to point out with the booster shot was when “they” then decide that that is not good enough either anymore, then WHERE do we go from there is my question. What would come next after a booster? I mean I’ll get it if need be because I did my part 1&2 but again why don’t we all just start going to work in a full out biohazard suit a la resident evil and call it a life.
Once we took care of Bid Laden I felt we should’ve got the hell out of Dodge. I’m sure our boys would rather be home with their families especially the last 2 years with all the Covid stuff. Must be a horrible feeling in being there and worrying about your family back home as it is. So I salute them all and I’m grateful for their service.
Agreed- are you interested at all in this Atari VCS? I grew up with Atari and they got me started on my hobby Christmas 78! Lol. I hope they can pull it off but I do have my doubts lol 😂

@Scrubicius I’m of the opinion that sex Ed to young 1st grade students in a classroom is better left off for a conversation with their parents or other family members! I mean yea later on In school years 8-9th grade is different. Who taught us? We learned from life experience mostly! Or from our parents or combination of.

1) Trump got voted out cause too many people on the left hate him when all he tried to do was look out for America over other countries. I think everyone regardless of who they wanted in agrees that the voting went down very very differently this time around. I find it incomprehensible that Trumps rallies had thousands of people and Biden had 8 or 9 yet Biden won but that’s fine I’ve come to accept it even though was shocking. 5) if unemployment is getting better than why can’t we find any help? Driver shortages in the transportation industry for example, are unheard of, all with higher wages being offered then ever before including sign bonuses. The $300 unemployment stimulus MUST end enough now no? Doesn’t Joe’s administration wanna see people back to work come off the
governments nipple by now? I’m not so sure yet. Seems to me that they want the citizens to be dependent on government.
6) hey If i have to take a “booster” shot then so be it - but what’s next?? It doesn’t end! I mean I’m no scientist either, but at this point why don’t we all just start wearing full Bio-lab suits daily to work etc etc and call it a day?? Lol 😂
