@chardir ok but as I understand it, you can’t have the same game downloaded to play on both consoles? Is that accurate? 🤷‍♂️
Certain switch 1 games I’d like to have available to play on both units.

Why can’t we simply sign in to switch 2 and see all our purchases and manage them accordingly like Microsoft and Sony does?? I’m not looking to kill my Switch 1 yet either just way to much games on it to move over for one thing and it sounds like the system transfer renders your Switch 1 pretty much useless??

Idk I recall enjoying the Genesis Bubsy 1 game a lot. And with the Jaguar edition included I have to say I’m in! This and the Gex collection too! We’re not always going to get what we want from the past but it’s good to know that some companies are trying to preserve the oldies be it good or bad. Accolades to Atari and LR. Accolades- see what I did there? lol

Yea I did the update yesterday then I couldn’t access my library after the restart it just kept buffering. Then I bought a game which would usually download automatically but it didn’t so when I went to the virtual game cards to find it they wouldn’t come up either! I hope this is fixed by tomorrow when I plan to get some gaming in before my wife comes up with some stuff to kill my Saturday! 🤣

I’ve been saying this since the very first digital video game was ever downloaded- people need to get off their butts and into the stores and buy PHYSICAL GAMES! But it seems like it’s too late. It’s not that I don’t download games - but usually it’s games that aren’t available physically. GameStop I fear will be next at some point.

Amazing actor in many great movies like Heat, Top Gun and Willow. But for me his finest role was Doc Holiday in Tombstone- absolutely brilliant performance!

Between Neo Geo and AA I gotta own close to the 200 area! I religiously check every week to see what’s new and what’s on sale! Many timeless classics worth the $8 although i usually grab most of them on sale!
Seems We will NEVER see ANY Atari/Midway classic games through Hamster much as I hoped they’d get a deal done with Warner Bros and that’s a shame because there’s dozens of classic arcade games in that buried treasure chest!! It’s the biggest gaping retro hole in the switch and PlayStation libraries!! Here’s hoping one day!!
2 minor complaints Hamster:
1- WHY is ONLY Neo Geo available On Xbox but no AA games at all? I don’t get that.
2- would it kill you guys to put out a sneak peak coming soon list once and a while??

I orders Ray’z and Steel so long ago that I sometimes forget I even did!! It’s absolutely ridiculous now that it’s coming up on a year and a half for Ray’z!! There’s quite a few SLG games I could’ve ordered but passed up because this situation has made me very hesitant to order from them until my 2023 orders are in hand! While I understand the covid difficulties and etc etc, we’ve all been through Covid but that was 2020 this is 2025. And somehow Limited Run has managed to stay under a 6 month wait, at least for me.

Quick! One of you gaming companies that cares about game preservation please snap up all the Midway/Atari Games classic arcade games they own before it’s too late!!!!

So we’re getting the ARCADE & NES Operation Wolf versions? As long as the arcade version is included I’m In day 1.
Also have a feeling we’ll eventually see these as individual Hamster releases who have put out quite a few Taito games already.

Been a big Atari fan since the 2600 was under my Xmas tree Christmas morning 1978! It was mind blowing! I was 12 and instantly hooked! Anyway, I think Wade is doing a hell of a job with the company now. Atari 50 is amazing and several recharge games are very cool. Then the 2600+ And now the 7800+ with a lineup of new games!
Also great moves acquiring Night Dive, digital eclipse, the Intellivision brand and games, and most of all imo, the acquisition of Atari Age giving them an avenue of tons of 2600 and 7800 homebrew games to republish on the plus systems like they’ve already done! So keep going Atari and MORE 7800 GAMES PLEASE!! 😊

I’ve been saying for years the switch eshop is a horrible navigational mess! The most important thing Nintendo needs to address with Switch 2 is the eshop! Hell even the Wii U eshop is better!

@OorWullie HOPEFULLY!! of course I failed to mention I’ve been seeing articles lately regarding Sega considering a subscription based service for its classic IP. Hope not though ☹️

@OorWullie omg that would be so amazing! Sega really frustrates me with the ton of arcade classics they own but do nothing with! I was so upset when they pulled the plug on the Sega Ages lineup! There’s no limits on what they can do. Hopefully delisting all these classic games recently will lead to something big!! 🙏

If you have plans for Ecco Sega, please use the Sega CD soundtracks! Talk about atmospheric! absolutely amazing music!

@DwaynesGames lol that’s hilarious! Totally understand what you’re saying but those 400 hamster titles hit Switch over an almost 8 year span so it’s not like we’re laying out $3200 in one shot. And while I buy a ton of them, there’s also a ton I have little to no interest in. Lastly, even though it’s not as often as we’d all like, there’s the occasional Hamster sale which I always look out for. 😊

@Truegamer79 well said & couldn’t agree more! Nintendo is the absolute worst with legacy content and maybe one day will see titles from GameCube and Wii? Even the older consoles the NSO games are posted at a snails pace and it’s a regular yawning festival. No purchase option is the salt in the wound. They’re so quick to go after hackers and pirates but have they stopped to ask themselves why?? And I refuse to upgrade my sub to add Genesis and N64 it’s just insulting!!
I also mentally hug my 5 modded nes/snes minis, my 4 Modded Genesis minis all modded with 6-8000 games each & my 3 OG Xbox modded systems modded with tens of thousands of games each because I could never and still refuse to wait on Nintendo! I’m long tired of it now from back in the Wii U days & I’ll be long dead by the time they finally get up to speed! 😆 🤷‍♂️☺️ thank goodness for Hamster, Atari, Sega, Namco and the loads of other classic games available on the eshop OUTSIDE of this crappy subscription service!

Well doesn’t that just stink?? Besides the lack of adding additional & more recent consoles like GameCube or Wii, the service still lacks purchase options for games you might want to “own”.
The monthly subscription we all have with Apple certainly doesn’t prevent you from making music or movie purchases so how about it Nintendo?? PLEASE ADD AN OPTION TO PURCHASE GAMES!! IF NOT NOW THEN WITH SWITCH 2! thanks 🙏

Hamster is the best!! And thank goodness the whole lineup is on PS4 as well! However I am disappointed this same lineup is NOT on Xbox!! Strangely enough, Xbox only has the Neo Geo titles available. I Wonder why?

Classic games no doubt but still a Zzzzz for me. Maybe one day when Switch 5 comes out we’ll see classic Cube and Wii games hit??? 🙄🙄 Heck even Wii U had some Wii games!!

Both games look like great fun - is there a physical copy coming?? Also I did take a Quick Look in the switch store and thought these were DLC’s of another game? which I can’t remember which game it was.
