@Ahlvin23 If you watched the anime, you should be good. I did feel like the game went quite a bit deeper, but that’s usually the case with visual novels. Both the Steins;Gate game and anime are fantastic.
I think you’re right that the original version isn’t on Switch. Just the version that splices in anime scenes.
@jon625 Don’t be intimidated. Breath of the Wild is only 100+ hours long if you want to 100% it. I think I beat it in about 40, then kept playing until like 65 hours or so.
@Scottwood101 I’m only a few chapters in, but it definitely feels tough but fair. Every death made sense, and I never felt frustrated by anything. It’s just a lot of fun.
I was in Tokyo the day Odyssey launched. A lot of electronics stores were blasting the main theme in their entrances, which made the whole city feel like a big Mario celebration.
I first played my copy on the train ride from Tokyo to Kanazawa. Good times. I can’t wait to go back.
I ordered the stickers and postcards, but the $5 shipping is making me hold off on putting the order through. This deal kinda sucks unless I add something to my order. Ughhh
@Blooper987 It’s always been one of those Japan-exclusive games that people hype up as being amazing. Since it’s over 20 years old now, I just kind of figured it wouldn’t get a US release.
When Tim Rogers (YouTuber/former Kotaku staff) talked at length about how he was one of the guys translating it for an English release, I was sold. Tim understands how a localization should work, so I believe he’s going to make this release shine.
@Yanina The PS4 version of REZ is perfect and has one of the best VR modes I’ve ever seen in a game. I’d suggest you play that game there, if you have the means to do so.
I was so ready to go at 11 am est when I expected preorders were to go live.....and nope, all I got was the announcement that preorders go live in a week. Haha.

Re: There Is No Game: Wrong Dimension Takes You On A "Silly" Journey Through Video Game Universes
I bought this on my phone just a week ago. It’s great, but I would have waited if I knew it was coming to Switch!
Re: Limited Run Will Be Publishing Save Me Mr Tako: Definitive Edition On Consoles
@jobvd Blame the publisher, not the developer.

Re: Review: Root Film - A Surprisingly Grown-Up Visual Novel
@Ahlvin23 You played Steins;Gate Zero, so you played regular Steins;Gate as well, correct? Juuuust making sure.
Re: Shin Megami Tensei III Remaster Launches This May On Switch
That’s not a lot of bonus content for $20, so I think I’ll be just fine with the regular digital copy. Glad it’s finally got a date!
Re: Anniversary: Nintendo Switch Launched Four Years Ago Today
@jon625 Don’t be intimidated. Breath of the Wild is only 100+ hours long if you want to 100% it. I think I beat it in about 40, then kept playing until like 65 hours or so.
Re: Some History About ILCA, The Japanese Studio Working On The Pokémon Diamond And Pearl Remakes
Holy crap, they did the Hatsune Miku Domino’s Pizza app. I did not expect that one.
Re: Poll: What Did You Think Of The February 2021 Nintendo Direct, Then?
Somewhere between expectations met and blown away. I really enjoyed this Direct, and it had a lot of cool surprises.
Re: Crash Bandicoot 4: It's About Time Hits Nintendo Switch This March
@GrailUK It’s very good and very difficult. Worthy of being a numbered Crash game.
Re: Video: Super Mario 3D Land Deserves to Be Remembered
Easily still one of my favorite Mario games. Starts off too easy, but then it quickly becomes perfect.
Re: Review: Cyber Shadow - A Blisteringly Brilliant Action Platformer
@Scottwood101 I’m only a few chapters in, but it definitely feels tough but fair. Every death made sense, and I never felt frustrated by anything. It’s just a lot of fun.
Re: Celeste Devs Release Retro Celeste Mini-Sequel To Celebrate The Game's Third Anniversary
Oh man, this is awesome. I love Celeste (both the regular and PICO versions), so this is a very nice surprise.

342 total hours / 55 total games
Most played:
Animal Crossing
Murder By Numbers
AI: The Somnium Files
Xenoblade Chronicles Definitive Edition
Hades
And fun bonus stat: I’ve played 6 games starring Mario, haha.
Cool.

Re: Reminder: The Kingdom Hearts: Melody Of Memory Demo Is Now Available On The Switch eShop
This demo rules and I am now officially 100% excited for this. I didn’t know I needed a KH rhythm game, but now I’m glad I’m getting one.
Re: Video: 17 Exciting New Games Coming To Nintendo Switch In October
I can’t stop playing Hades (and 13 Sentinels on PS4!), so I don’t even know when I’ll get to any of these October releases.
Re: PSA: It's Diddy's Kong Quest, Not Diddy Kong's Quest
I never knew people were missing the play on words. It’s a pretty simple one too.
Re: Random: Pokémon Fans Are Loving Bump Of Chicken's Nostalgic New Music Video
Bones is such a great animation studio, and this song is pretty cool as well. I dig it.
Re: UK Charts: Super Mario 3D All-Stars Goes Straight To Number One
@Octane There’s plenty of copies available in retail stores. I work at Target, and Nintendo supplied us with a LOT of copies.
Re: Feature: Every 3D Super Mario Game Ranked
Wow, 3D Land got done dirty.
Re: Nintendo Download: 17th September (North America)
@BaronMunchausen I bet you liked the Direct. Hades is out today!
Re: Nintendo Download: 17th September (North America)
I already have Twin Breaker on PS4 and Vita, so I doubt I’m gonna buy it again....but I will highly recommend it to everyone on here.
Re: Nintendo Download: 10th September (North America)
Hades and Minoria for me.
Re: Physical Rewards Are Now Available On My Nintendo (US)
I ordered the stickers and postcards, but the $5 shipping is making me hold off on putting the order through. This deal kinda sucks unless I add something to my order. Ughhh
Re: Where To Pre-Order Super Mario 3D All-Stars On Nintendo Switch
Got my digital copy all preloaded and ready to go.
Re: Ubisoft's Summer Blow Out Sale Is In Full Swing On Switch eShop (North America)
@Thwomp_Stomper Stick of Truth and Fractured But Whole are both excellent. They’re fun and hilarious.
Re: Ys IX: Monstrum Nox Is Coming To Switch In 'Summer 2021', Following A PS4 Debut In February
In that case I’ll probably just end up playing the PS4 version on PS5, rather than wait. That new console allure will be very strong.
Re: Nuclear Throne Studio Vlambeer Is Closing Its Doors After Ten Years
Huge fan of Luftrausers. Vlambeer was great.

Re: Nintendo Download: 27th August (North America)
Hypnospace Outlaw and Moon for me. I’ve been waiting for both of these for a good long time.
Re: Nintendo Reminds Us The Switch Online Service Now Has Over 80 Classic Games
September marks two years of NSO. I’m ready for a third console to be added to the mix.
Re: Stylish Murder Mystery Paradise Killer Scores September Switch Release
Oooh, this looks pretty cool!
Re: Game Dev Tycoon Is Coming To Switch With Cross-Save Functionality
@LatsaSpege A popular mobile game coming to a popular platform is a problem now? It’s pretty old now too, so I’m sure it’ll find a brand new audience.
Edit: I totally thought this was Game Dev Story. I don’t actually know this game at all, haha. Whoops!
Re: Hypnospace Outlaw Will Support Mouse And Keyboard On Switch, At Nintendo's Request
This rules. I loved the demo, but I had no idea I could use keyboard and mouse!
Re: Round Up: All The Games From The Nintendo Indie World Showcase - August 2020
@Jayofmaya There was a more substantial preview of The Red Lantern last year, and it’s worth watching if you haven’t yet. That game looks really cool.
Re: Round Up: All The Games From The Nintendo Indie World Showcase - August 2020
@KBoo Sports Story just got delayed. They’re probably not too worried about advertising it at the moment.
Re: Round Up: All The Games From The Nintendo Indie World Showcase - August 2020
This was a good presentation for (former) PC-exclusives that I would rather play on Switch. Hellooooo Hades, Hynospace Outlaw, and A Short Hike.
Also, Grindstone rules a lot.
Re: Rumour: Is The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword Taking To The Skies On Nintendo Switch?
One of my absolute favorite Zelda games. I would love to see it in HD.
Re: PSP Prinny Platformers Slide To Switch This October
This rules, dood. I loved the first Prinny, never played 2.
Re: Take To The Skies In Panzer Dragoon: Remake With This Limited-Time Discount
@Yanina The PS4 version of REZ is perfect and has one of the best VR modes I’ve ever seen in a game. I’d suggest you play that game there, if you have the means to do so.
Re: Soapbox: 25 Years On, I Still Can't Get Into Yoshi's Island
Every time I play Yoshi’s Island, I end up stopping somewhere in world 2. I recently played it on Switch, and the same thing happened.
I can’t even describe it. I don’t hate playing it. I just lose the drive to continue.
Re: Analogue Pocket Pre-Orders Have Sold Out, But More Are On The Way
I got my preorder in just in time. Woo!
Re: Taiwanese Rating Suggests That The Original No More Heroes Is Heading To Switch
I’ve been expecting this. I would love to replay 1 and I never did play 2.
Re: 'Anti-RPG' PlayStation Title Moon Arrives On Switch eShop This August
Translated by YouTuber Tim Rogers. It’s cool to see him working on something like this.
Re: Reminder: Use Your Switch Game Vouchers While You Still Can (North America)
I bought a lot of vouchers, but I haven’t had any left for months. I wish they’d do this again.
Re: Analogue Pocket Delayed Until Next Year, But There's Some Good News, Too
I was so ready to go at 11 am est when I expected preorders were to go live.....and nope, all I got was the announcement that preorders go live in a week. Haha.
I’ll try again next week. I want this thing!

This looks great!
Re: Spike Chunsoft's Summer Sale Offers Up To 80% Off Selected Switch Titles
I’m almost done with AI, and I gotta echo all the recommendations. It’s a great game.
