I’m still not sure if I should start with the remake or the original Trials of Mana. But both look great.

Oh man, please! They always acted like the trackball controls made this impossible to port, so it’s funny to see them change their tune.

@brandonbwii As far as I can tell, it’s the full story mode plus a level creator (and sharing!).

I bought this game for like $30 back in 2008. It’s a wonderful game - it’s one of my favorite racing games ever. But I bought it for $30 literally 12 years ago.

It shouldn’t be $50.

(Also, this very same Remastered version is frequently on sale for $8 on PS4. If you want it, get it there!)

I love the concept of Later Daters. And hey, if anyone hasn’t played Shovel Knight yet, DO IT.

@datamonkey I would never use it, but I don’t understand why touch screen controls aren’t an option.

@TobiasAmaranth I’m just about done Murder By Numbers and I’m absolutely loving it.

Sure, the puzzles aren’t as hard as they could be - I definitely complete them faster than I generally do in a Picross game - but I’m still very much enjoying it.

@SkullDragr I can totally understand burning out after playing that much in 4 days. Animal Crossing games are best played in 30-60 minute sessions in my opinion.

I know some people play them longer, but I have fun just popping in for a bit every day. I’ve already played my hour today, so now I’m off to other things.

@status-204 From the bits of this game I’ve seen, I was afraid of that. I’m still kinda interested though.

The reveal trailer for these was really cool, and everyone seemed to hate them immediately. Glad to see the comments are more positive now.

The Target I work at is having the hardest time keeping them in stock. It’s wild!

Yesterday we received 10, and 9 of them sold within 30 minutes.

I love ARMs. I wish they did more with this game than they did.

@Pod You just named two of my favorite recent-ish indie titles. Minit and Gato Roboto are both so good!

Sharing the island life with my wife was one of my selling points. The choice of a second island for a second player would have been nice, but we wouldn’t have played that way.

@JayJ We don’t even know most of 2020’s game releases beyond the Summer yet. It’s a little early to proclaim that there’s nothing else for you.

Go digital or go to Target. Animal Crossing games are good to always have on hand though, so digital makes a lot of sense.

My backlog is hopelessly large, so I set myself little goals.

Last year’s goal was to beat more games than I purchased. I beat 20 and bought around 15 I think.

This year’s goal is to beat 4 games a month, while maintaining my “buy less games” mantra. On goal so far.

A lot of Square Enix games are on sale currently. I’m thinking about getting that Mana Collection at half off.

Eldest Souls looks a whole lot like Titan Souls, but it doesn’t seem to be the same developer. Kinda weird.

Looks cool though. And I do like Titan Souls a lot, so I’m sure I’ll dig this too.

I work retail and watching this thing’s popularity suddenly spike has been interesting. We barely sold any until like a month ago, and now there’s a massive shortage.

Death Stranding (almost beat it! I’m loving it) and Murder By Numbers, mostly.

@kepsux Honestly Kid Icarus Uprising is one of my favorite games on 3DS. Maybe one of my favorite games ever. I found it so fun, charming, and hilarious from start to finish.

I even got really into collecting those useless AR trading cards, haha.

@harrystein It’s a visual novel. There’s a lot of story. It’s a very fun story so far too.

As a huge fan of Picross, Phoenix Wright, and good visual novels in general, this is exactly what I needed. I’m loving it so far.

I’m anxiously awaiting difficult puzzles, but I’m sure it’ll get to that point.
