the only problem with Nintendo giving us this information is that Nintendo is forgetting to give us some My Nintendo rewards points as a Christmas gift...

and i got more than 760 hours across 5 games. unfortunately, Animal Crossing is stuck at second to the top... it seems as though Super Mario Odyssey is in the lead even though i haven't played it since the release of Animal Crossing. maybe Animal Crossing will win in 2021...lol

Compared to last year my play time on the switch was way down. 122 hours played, smash Bros, BoTW, MUA3, pokemon shield and atelier ryza as my top games with 2 mario games thrown in somewhere... I played Mario kart but I don't know if smash Bros counts as a Mario game.

Honestly surprised Dq11 isn't higher. Although I did put over 300-350 hours on the ps4 version alone and i'm just starting the Xbox version. Highly recommend this game to turn based jrpg fans, absolute masterpiece.

Joining the club about being a cheesed off European, I want to know mine too. Especially when if you move to a new console it forgets the time played if it wasn't one of your 20 most recently played.

Further though, an the biggest thing, they clearlytrack this data so should once again give us time graphs/lists of what we have played alah 3ds. I've always enjoyed looking at my playtime numbers like that and I imagine a lot of other people do too.
To be completely honest, it is my most wanted update to the Switch with custom backgrounds coming second (not being able to change the colour is criminal let alone the fact you likely have all these epic screenshots on your system that you would like to see more of.

Feel like I’m missing out why don’t we have this in the UK would be great to see a breakdown I used to keep track on the WII U but the switch is bear bones

@Rpg-lover wow, what are you doing in Dragon Quest after 665 hours?!?!? I've clocked about 110 on that, finished the main story, on the sage quest just now.

(up from 1056 / 46 in 2019).
But in my defense, probably only 75-80% of those hours were productive game time, as late at night I fall asleep with the Switch running way too often.

I haven't checked but I think I either reach or am close to 1000 hours this year. Half of those hours come from playing Zelda BotW because to preserve your first file, one has to create another "page" in the Nintendo Switch system.

My second and third most played games are Hyrule Warriors Definitive Edition and Ys VIII, both of which I brought this year and are visible in my first page's hours. My other two pages don't show the hours (which I use for Zelda BotW).

Total hours played 656 hours, 82 games played, top 5 played games: the witcher 3 , FFXII, Ni no Kuni , Hades, Paper Mario the origami king and I only played 3 games with Mario.

444 hours, 25 titles played. Not bad for my first Switch year, especially when you consider that I still play my 3DS systems somewhat regularly.

Ah, two years in a row of Diablo III taking the top spot, followed by Pokemon Sword and (surprisingly) Age of Calamity. Way to sneak in there last minute, AoC! Interestingly cut my total play time down by 160 hours, despite the pandemic. Yay?

900 hours for me, up by more than double from 2019. They peaked in March and April, coinciding with the pandemic lockdowns and Animal Crossing. Although I love AC, my playtime would have been way up even without the lockdowns.

My wife wanted to see a Final Fantasy so I showed her X and he demanded to see X2, 190 hours later I have a true believer here. Hades is a national treasure. I stopped playing animal crossing after two weeks and never went back, traded it in for credit at some point. A friend got me into Darksiders genesis, and GameStop had it for $10 at the time and I had a blast. Battlechasers Nightwar really surprised me and I enjoyed every minute.

Heaviest play month was November, on account of some time off. Lowest was June, because I spent that month dumping 250+ hours into Pillars of Eternity on PS4.

I played two games with Mario and I’m not even sure what they were.

Most played games were Animal Crossing: New Horizons, Fire Emblem: Three Houses, and Xenoblade Chronicles: Definitive Edition. 1,187 hours total. On the one hand, it theoretically could have been higher because I started an online education program in September while also working full-time, so I dropped down to maybe 30 mins a day. But on the other, work was shut down from March to June and lord knows I did no next to no work while "working from home." So I guess it balanced out in the end?

My number 1 is unsurprisingly ACNH. 730 hrs in less than a year and counting.
The usual suspects in Splatoon and Smash complete the Top 3.
I'm happy that Octopath Traveler sneaked in at number 4 as I wanted to complete it since the beginning of the year and only came around to play it the last few weeks because of my number one. All in all I managed over 1300 hrs in 44 different games. But why didn't Europe get the comparison to last year?

I picked up Hades the other day, but I'm going to save it for when I've finished other things. I enjoy sinking big hours into these epic games, and casually dipping in on more light hearted things in between.

@ok1 Yes, however that only shows limited information for the most recently played titles. That I know of on Switch, you can't look back at activity from previous days, you can't see time played down to the minute for all titles, average play time, times played, etc. The 3DS logged all of that, and you could view it any time.

As a COMPLETE surprise to me, I have played more Mr. Driller: Drill Land than I ever thought. One of those "just one more" games that sucks up more time than you think. It's wonderful...
