I love my Analogue Pocket, and I’ve been wondering where the heck this update is for awhile now, haha.

I walked around that neighborhood. It was quiet and beautiful. I hope this is what the people of Kyoto want, because as a tourist it sounds unnecessary.

This isn’t surprising at all. I’ve seen most of my Switch friend list playing N64 games.

@Chibi_Manny Most Xbox games are still releasing with both an Xbox One and a Series S|X version. I have seen very few that are S|X only so far.

@Chocobo_Shepherd The Mr Knight outfit debuted in 2014 in Warren Ellis’s very brief run. You should check that one out!

The Jeff Lemire run and the current Jed MacKay run are also fantastic.

@gonzilla That’s what it cost on PS4, and it was very much worth the price.

13 Sentinels was pretty much my favorite game of 2020. Well, that or Hades. Both are fantastic games.

I liked the characters and the story more than the gameplay, but I really liked the characters and the story.

@Tobiaku I played the game on PS4 (got the platinum trophy and everything), and I have no idea what you mean about a bad translation.

I love PlatinumGames, but like half of their releases suck. Their lack of consistency is worrisome.

@HotGoomba I fully expect Kirby to use mouthful mode on a planet or a space station at least. These games always get big in scope by the end.

This game is incredible. I actually think it might be best played on Switch, and I wish I had that option when it originally launched.

@Ralizah I have no doubt that the DQIII HD-2D remake is going to be $50-60. I would love to be wrong, but I definitely won’t mind paying a full price for that.

@plurgy It plays great! But I also haven’t had a problem with any of the N64 games on Switch, and I use a Pro Controller or split Joy-Cons.

The way each game utilizes X and Y slightly different is really smart, so I haven’t felt any need to get an N64 controller for any of them.

I wish it could be the 3DS version. Same goes for Ocarina of Time. It would be really nice to play those games on my TV with the enhancements those versions had.

My wife and I walked around that neighborhood until we found this building for some photo ops, and it was such a lovely walk. Kyoto is beautiful.

Wait, Ryan North made a game?! This I gotta buy. I love his comics, and my wife and I loved Romeo and/or Juliet quite a bit (we read it out loud together, laughing hysterically at every surprise).

We didn’t read the one this is based on, so this will be completely new to us both. Sweet.

@dBackLash I would not recommend interrupting the flow of Steins;Gate to play Steins;Gate 0.

The original game is so wonderful, and it’s story is so well done. It would be awkward to stop before the end to play an entire other game. Especially since I don’t think 0 is half as good as the original game.

@citizenerased I wouldn’t say the first two were exceptionally difficult, unless you are the type of gamer who always goes for 100% completion.

The first two OlliOlli games are extremely good, and I like this new vibe they’re going for. I’m looking forward to this one.

@Kiyata I’m not going to dispute that buying would be best (or at least the option to buy alongside these Online apps), but I just wanna clarify that you totally can play these games without being online.

All of the Switch Online apps check your online connection once a week. So you just have to be online sometimes and you’re good to go.

Sacred Symbols is a wonderful PlayStation show and Knockback is a great nostalgia show he does with his brother.

This is one of my favorite games of all time. The story is bonkers (in the best way), the battle man are thrilling, and the music and graphics are perfect.

Glad to see it coming to Switch finally.

SMTV and Star Wars: KOTOR for me on Switch. GTA Trilogy on PS5.

Expensive day, but these will easily keep me busy for a few months.

I have played this on the Wii eShop and now on the Switch, and the controls are just fine on both.

The way the Switch maps the controls for this game is so simple, and I don’t get why anyone would say it’s an inferior way to play this.

@TheBigK This game controls perfectly on Switch, but that’s mostly just because it doesn’t use much of the controller.

I actually feel like every N64 I’ve tried plays really well on Switch. The way they map different C-buttons to X and Y based on what buttons are most relevant for each game is really clever.

@BenAV How short are we talking? I wasn’t gonna play it right away, but hearing that it’s short kind of makes me want to play it sooner. I’m trying to avoid any massive commitments before Shin Megami.

I’m stoked for Voice of Cards. The demo was great!

I learned the hard way that you can’t go from a family plan to a single plan + expansion pack. I had to pay to upgrade my family plan, which my wife and I were planning to downgrade.

Annoying. ….but yeah, I paid it, haha. I turned off auto renew so I can just get the single plan next year.

@nessisonett I thought God of War (2018) was really long for that style of game, but I still loved it anyways. I had no idea people considered it short.

I consider less than 5 hours to be pretty short, but some of the best games I ever played are like 1-3 hours long.

It’s by no means a negative or anything. Sometimes a few hours is all a game needs.

Fingers crossed these things ship out in December. I put my order in 14 months ago, haha.

I got red/blue because my local Target has only received 2 white ones so far. They’ve gotten multiple shipments of the red/blue though.

I’m just gonna keep using my blue/blue Joy-Cons anyway.
