@TheFullAndy 3DS has 6 SMTs and 2 Persona Q games. We’ve been waiting for the Switch SMT title for soooo long with nothing shown since the initial trailer.

I’m dying here, haha.

@TheFullAndy Persona is a spin-off of the mainline Shin Megami Tensei series. It would be great for both lines of games to be in one place. Maybe one day.

3DS had so many SMT games (mostly enhanced ports), and I wish Switch got the same kind of attention from Atlus.

@KillerBOB Uh, no. If you found a potential hack or exploit, you would be paid for alerting Nintendo about it.

Lots of tech companies do this. Strangely, Sony just started a similar program on PS4. Kinda late in its lifespan for that, haha.

@ItsOKToBeOK I’m not surprised that so many Switch games rank above it. Switch tears up the charts every week.

@ItsOKToBeOK Sony came out with the sales numbers today. The Last of Us 2 debuted with 4 million copies sold in the first week, beating Spider-Man as the fastest selling PS4 title.

Pretty impressive stuff.

The Last of Us 2 rules and it’s good to see the smear campaigns didn’t hurt it.

My friends and coworkers are enjoying the game, and none of them even seemed to be aware that there is any negativity surrounding it online. This past week has been a nice reminder to me that the internet is very different from the real world.

@blackknight77 Is it? I have it on PS3 and Vita (it was free on Plus forever ago), and I never really gave it much play. Would I be better off just playing that than this version?

@somebread Because he’s the only YouTuber I know of who will drop everything to obsessively research a niche subject like “who does the Super Monkey Ball voiceover work?” and “where did the Hatsune Miku Dominos app go?!” He gets the weird scoops because he puts in the work.

His videos are probably my favorite thing about YouTube honestly. Except his Brick-Meiser weirdness. He can keep those, haha.

Since the Switch doesn’t have a disc drive, it doesn’t really matter to me. I ignore the card slot and I use my Switch as a 100% digital machine already.

@Sandro89 Panel de Pon is only playable in Japanese, but the menus are really easy to figure out.

I’ve been playing the mode that has numbered stages, and it’s really difficult and fun.

Nearly perfect collection. It just needs Extreme 2 and Infinity Gene. And Space Invaders vs Arkanoid should just be natively included - that game rules.

Pac-Man Championship Edition Demastered 8-Bit Version? But we still don’t have the regular version on Switch. Very odd.

My Switch is 100% digital, and I have a loooot of Switch games. I guess there’s a lot of people just like me with digital sales figures like that.

@duffmmann This one in particular started out as an Xbox exclusive. Oddworld has no allegiance I guess, haha.

My friends and I have been playing this one online a LOT lately since we can’t hang out in real life. It’s still crazy fun.

@SuperCharlie78 I’ve played most of the Picross games and I think they play much better with buttons than the touch screen.

I cannot imagine choosing touch screen over the buttons, but I also don’t get why the option isn’t there.

@geni53yr7 A lot of us “older” gamers (I’m not that old - I’m 32 - but I’m certainly not a teenager) that grew up with physical game collections are all-in on digital now because we don’t want mountains of stuff anymore.

I’m all digital on games, mostly digital on comics, and many other things. Most of my friends are the same way. “Ownership” is a vague thing, but at least my 40+ Switch games don’t take up space.

I’m still not sure if I should start with the remake or the original Trials of Mana. But both look great.

Oh man, please! They always acted like the trackball controls made this impossible to port, so it’s funny to see them change their tune.

@brandonbwii As far as I can tell, it’s the full story mode plus a level creator (and sharing!).

I bought this game for like $30 back in 2008. It’s a wonderful game - it’s one of my favorite racing games ever. But I bought it for $30 literally 12 years ago.

It shouldn’t be $50.

(Also, this very same Remastered version is frequently on sale for $8 on PS4. If you want it, get it there!)

I love the concept of Later Daters. And hey, if anyone hasn’t played Shovel Knight yet, DO IT.

@TobiasAmaranth I’m just about done Murder By Numbers and I’m absolutely loving it.

Sure, the puzzles aren’t as hard as they could be - I definitely complete them faster than I generally do in a Picross game - but I’m still very much enjoying it.

@SkullDragr I can totally understand burning out after playing that much in 4 days. Animal Crossing games are best played in 30-60 minute sessions in my opinion.

I know some people play them longer, but I have fun just popping in for a bit every day. I’ve already played my hour today, so now I’m off to other things.

@status-204 From the bits of this game I’ve seen, I was afraid of that. I’m still kinda interested though.

The reveal trailer for these was really cool, and everyone seemed to hate them immediately. Glad to see the comments are more positive now.

The Target store I work at has this on the shelf and completely sellable. Weird.
