This is pretty sad to hear! I really hope people in the UK find another retailer that has some extra Switch 2's to sell, and they still get the opportunity to get the system on launch day.

I think this is pretty terrible of GAME, why would you take so many pre-orders then at the last week you cancel so many of them?!? Would be VERY disappointing...

What I have is the best where I am (like a said, I live in a VERY rural area) and a 12mbps tops internet speed between 5 users in my house can be terrible.

They have plans to run a fibre wire eventually through my area because of a Ontario, Canada government program to have better internet to rural areas, but god knows when they will actually get it done.

Remember when digital was just another convenient way for people to get their games in the 360 days? Now they are forcing it on us, no matter how much we show how displeased we are with the practice.

As someone who lives in a very rural area with a poor internet connection, it might sadly come to a point that I might not buy as many newer games just because of this.

I couldn't get into the game, but maybe as a movie I might like it? Hard to say, but I'm willing to give it a watch if it looks interesting enough.

I got 6/13, I obviously haven't played this classic in awhile lol

Got to be honest, getting really sick of all the negativity towards the Switch 2.

As a Nintendo fan, the game looks interesting to me, and depending on the price, I might actually give it a go.

Never seen it before, so it's pretty cool to see Nintendo put a icon out of it to get people talking about such an obscure console!

Also love to see the Famicom Disc System, Famicom 3D System, and Famicom Disk Writer made an appearance. Kind of wish they had a Diskun icon, though.

Game prices are going up due to game costs, have a good cry about it if you need too, but it's happening whether we like it or not.

Had absolutely zero problems getting a pre-order up here in Ontario, Canada. Everyone I know that wanted one, is getting one.

In fact, it was so easy to get a pre-order, that I probably could have got 3-4 other pre-orders from different retailers if I wanted too.

Maybe just change it to a all around gamers dating app, instead of a gimmick around Smash Bros? Nintendo can't say anything if it's for gamers in general.

Wish they would open up a Nintendo Toronto store, would definitely go to that!

I have no interest in it, mainly because I'm the only one of my friends that plays on Nintendo consoles. My friends mainly play on PC and PS5.

I think I'll be happier with my Switch 2, Xbox stuff doesn't really interest me anymore since they went third party, just buy the games on PS5.

Really wish all third party developers had CD Project Red's attitude to physical releases.

I am so disappointed with Square Enix for having Bravely Default as game key card at 11gb, Sega's Sonic x Shadow Generations at 24gb, and the worst one, Puyo Puyo Tetris at 4gb...like come on!!! They aren't even trying at this point!!

With the rising prices, it will make me think twice on buying games that I'm not too sure about, and probably look towards games that add a lot of value for the price (replayability, how many hours of gameplay etc.)

I use to play on multiple consoles, but I will be mostly focusing on Switch 1 and 2 games, and I might get the odd game on PS5 if not available on Switch consoles.

Basically, I won't be splurging and buying as many random games as I use too, and buying more than one console in the future won't be happening.

I don't think it will come to Switch 2, at least not in the beginning. I would think they are probably doing a PC version, because that is a huge market to not be putting their game on.

People can honestly do whatever they want, but physical is pretty well dead.

Do I like it? No, but you can't expect them to keep using an out of date media, when the industry to moving to a digital future.

From music, to tv, to movies, now to video games, everything is going digital, and I guess we either accept it, or don't consume any media anymore.

Pre-ordered the Mario Kart World bundle, Pro Controller, and carrying case w/screen protector. I decided to hold off for now on the MicroSD Express card, and I might pick up Cyberpunk 2077 on launch (absolutely LOVE that game).

I have Donkey Kong Bananza pre-ordered as well, but that is obviously my July game.

I'll be getting rid of my Xbox Series X to help pay for the Switch 2.

Use to be a big Xbox guy, but I see no point in owning the console when I have a PS5/ PC, and their good games keep going over to those systems.

Got my pre-order here in Canada! Best Buy's website went all crazy, so I went to Gamestop and easily got a the Mario Kart World Bundle (lets be honest, physical is basically dead). Had to throw down $300 deposit if anyone is curious about getting one at Gamestop, and they had tons still left.

Yea, I just looked at the Canadian prices, $110 for Mario Kart World and $100 for DK Bananza, not going to lie, I think I just lost interest. That's WAY too much for those games when most modern games are $90.

I think we will definitely be seeing some Switch 2 games during Xbox's next showcase, especially since it will be happening right after the Switch 2 launch (June 8th).

Hoping to see Halo Master Chief Collection, Rare Replay (long shot), Sea of Thieves, and Gears of War during the presentation.

For the price of this game, you better show off a lot of things to do in this game.

I can't recommend Cyberpunk 2077 enough to people, and I'm not usually into shooters. Such incredible fun game, with a really interesting story.

I find the console to be priced fairly for what you are getting.

Most of the problem is people don't know why Mario Kart World is priced the way it is. When they feel like they have played much bigger, more graphical games, with bigger budgets that probably should have that price point before a Mario Kart game does.

Absolutely loved the idea of two people on a kart! Mario Kart 8 is my favourite in the series, but Double Dash is easily my second favourite. Would love to see this in another Mario Kart at some point.

2016, if all you had was a Wii U, you basically seen ZERO games released. That year almost made me give up on Nintendo, glad they fired back with the Switch.

Well you just lost a sale from me then. I'm also going to guess that FF XV Pocket Edition is download only too since they released it yesturday on eshop with no mention of physical copy. I want to like you SquareEnix, but you make it really hard.

The steelcase looks really plain, so a no to that. The controller looks great though, so most likely will pre-order that.

It could probably come to the Switch if they wanted, but they would probably have to make too many compromises just to make it happen.

I rather they import some of their other great games (Fallout 3, New Vegas, 4 please) but I'm happy they are a great third party company that is definitely trying to support the Switch.

About f---ing time! Yes, can't wait to replay this game, and I will be picking of the amiibo too. Only thing I'm not looking forward to is fighting Dragon Slayer Ornstein and Executioner Smough again

I'm a huge Sega fan, but this is a rip off. Just give us the Sega Genesis Collection you released on PS4 and X1, I don't feel like paying a expensive amount for each game just because it will be on a portable.

I got my copy today and I've been enjoying it a lot! I like playing as Ray more then Mighty though. Encore mode is pretty cool, some differences from the mania mode (from what I played so far) and instead of lives, you get a character to play as (if you are Sonic and Mighty and Sonic dies, you go to the next character you got from a box). The art book is also a nice touch

Also, that guy looks like Keith Apicary, which is cool Sega got him to do it. He's a big Sega fan, and I love his christmas episode with AVGN lol

Unlike what a lot of people think, I think this game looks absolutely gorgeous! Had my pre-order for Eevee and the pokeball plus since e3 and can't wait to play this!
