Re: Nintendo Outlines Key Goals to Ensure NX Success

hYdeks

@MetaSmasher not a lot of ppl own a Wii U, so they're hoping Zelda will get ppl that didn't pick up the Wii U to buy a NX, and that will get third party interested in coming back and putting support towards Nx. As for it coming to Wii U, I think that is they're way of saying "thank you for supporting us with the Wii U, here's Zelda cause we promise you it for years now".

Re: Feature: The Big Nintendo E3 2016 Summary

hYdeks

This E3 was actually a lot better than I thought it would be, and showed a lot of games I would love to play.

I'm definitely proud to be a dedicated Nintendo fan, even though sometimes it is hard to be, and I can't wait for the NX to finally be revealed and show the games coming to that system.

Re: E3 2016: Brandwatch Data Shows The Legend of Zelda Dominating Social Media During E3

hYdeks

Microsoft's conference was overall better than all the other conferences at E3, enough so to make me want to go Xbox again.

Nintendo's great focus on just the one game alone was very impressive, it was just too bad the rest of the games they showed where basically what you would expect out of a Pokemon game, Paper Mario game etc. to the point that it was good, but not extremely impressive.

I think a lot of people really wanted the NX to be shown, and Nintendo to reveal the first party games that will come to it, and that they will be getting great third party games for the system, not just Just Dance 2017

Re: E3 2016: Ubisoft is Confident That Nintendo NX Can Recapture 'Lapsed Wii Players'

hYdeks

yea, only announcing Just Dance for the NX so far doesn't give me much hope for this console so far.

If Nintendo is going to try and appeal more to the casual gamers like they did with the Wii, and only get games like this, while less casual games are going to miss the system again, I definitely won't be supporting the NX and will be getting a Xbox One instead.

The Wii system was an ok system with lots of great experiences, but we definitely missed out on a lot of great games that where on the other systems, and I won't be doing that again.

I know Nintendo likes to keep things secret, but they really need to tell people about the NX already.

Re: Paper Mario: Color Splash Dated for 7th October

hYdeks

yes, can't wait! will be pre-ordering it as soon as possible

I don't know why people are hating on this game already, we've only seen a tiny glimpse of the game so far, not nearly enough to pass the judgement people are having on this game

Re: Yo-kai Watch Sold Less Than Half a Million Units in North America

hYdeks

I actually expected worse sorry to say, very cutesy, Japanese things like this just don't sell over here in North America, and that won't change no matter how optimistic Level 5 is. Really doesn't help that it just looks like a cheap Pokemon knock off, and we have already seen too many of those to care.

Re: Poll: Are You Excited About Nintendo's Expanded E3 Plans?

hYdeks

Still not a whole lot to look forward too. Can't wait to see Zelda, because it will be my first look at a NX game I will be getting, but other than that, Pokemon is basically always the same, same with monster hunter and that.

The games will be great, the real problem with this E3 is that there doesn't seem like much being shown, no surprise game reveal, and we finally get to see Zelda but have to wait till next year just to get the game

When the NX gets revealed later this year, they better show a lot of great stuff.

Re: Reaction: The NX Could Benefit from Using Cartridges Instead of Discs

hYdeks

This actually could happen, because games in sd cards would be cheap, and could easily hold big games now a days without having graphic and music limitations like old cartridges use to (like from n64 days).

Also, Nintendo has never used their systems as a movie player like it competitors, so not having a blu ray disc format isn't a big deal to them.

Re: Poll: Nintendo Has Laid Out Its Legend of Zelda E3 Plans - Are They Enough?

hYdeks

They need to mention more than just Zelda U, even if it is a small Nintendo Direct before or after E3 showing more of Paper Mario and other games coming.

I think they will have a small direct after for Wii U and 3DS games coming that we basically to give release dates to games they already announced , and around September show off the NX finally? Let's hope they have some kind of plan that they just aren't telling us.

Re: Wii U "Disappointing To Everybody" But We're Excited About Nintendo NX, Says GameStop CEO

hYdeks

Gamestop, disappointing to everyone

I've been a Nintendo fan since '88 with the NES, and I have to say that even though the third party support for Wii U was disappointing, everything else about the Wii U has been absolutely amazing! Great first party games, and I love playing games using the gamepad as a screen, or as a quick inventory screen.

What I think is very disappointing is the xbox one and ps4 being basically the same boring crap as normal, but with slightly better graphics. I still own my Wii U with tons of games, I already sold my xbox one and ps4 because all the games are just shooters basically.

I'll be supporting and buying the NX, no matter what it is, because Nintendo makes games I love to play, and that is the best reason to buy a console.

Re: Poll: Are You Confident About Nintendo's 3DS Focus for 2016?

hYdeks

No clue why ppl want a new portable, we just got new Nintendo 3ds, and if they actually took advantage of that system instead of just making games for the original 3ds, we really wouldn't need a new portable for awhile.

So to Nintendo, start making games that take advantage of the new Nintendo 3ds' power already!

Re: Launching NX Next Year Is The "Proper" Thing To Do, Says Nintendo Boss Tatsumi Kimishima

hYdeks

I think March is a good time, at least for me it is. Gives me time to save up for the NX, and enjoy the Wii U for one last year I still have tons of games to play on Wii U, and I still have TMS #Fe and and Paper Mario to look forward to, so I'll be fine for games. Next year it will be great to get a NX and the new Zelda, and whatever great other games are coming.

And if you think about it, by Christmas 2017, we will have games to choose from, know what is coming for the system thanks to E3, and hopefully that will get the system really good sales.

Re: Nintendo NX Will Be Launched Globally in March 2017

hYdeks

I figured the NX would launch around that time, but leaving all the information about the NX until after June, then releasing the console that soon after seems very foolish.

Most times they announce a console in some form, get comments from developers and fans to improve things people didn't like, re-introduce it next year, then release it a few months down the road.

I'm starting to think the system is going to be a simple high powered system, with just a traditional controller, and a portable alongside, no real gimmick this time around. It's the only real reason why them introducing it, then releasing it not long after would make any sense.

Re: The Legend of Zelda for Wii U Will Be The Only Playable Nintendo Game at E3

hYdeks

So first NX won't make an appearance at E3 and will be revealed later this year, than released in March 2017, not very long after being revealed.

Second, you delay Zelda, yet again, to 2017 and are making it the focus of E3, and the only playable game for attendees, a freakin game that won't release for another year, when you should be showing off something for the systems that seem to barely have any games being released!

I don't know Nintendo, your making it extremely hard to be a fan of yours these past couple years.

Re: Poll: The Wii U GamePad - Where Do You Stand on Nintendo's Hefty Controller?

hYdeks

I love using the gamepad, but it was definitely under utilized in games.

The big problem with the gamepad I have is if it breaks, you gotta send it to Nintendo for repair, or order a new one from them, you can't simply just go to a store and buy a new one. To me, this is a huge problem of the gamepad, and is really a big pain in the butt.

Re: Feature: The Biggest Wii U Games of 2016 - Spring Edition

hYdeks

Star Fox, Zelda, Paper Mario, Tokyo Mirage Session I'll be definitely getting

Hopefully Zelda doesn't take forever, Mighty No.9 would be great, but will probably be delayed AGAIN. Mario and Sonic I might get, I never played a game in the series, will have to wait for reviews.
