So none of the Game Gear / Master System games, no Chaotix or 3D Blast or Pocket Adventure or Advance 1 or the Rivals or storybook games, but Sonic Shuffle gets in? Pshaw

Or maybe this was a performance option they explored for Switch 1, didn’t work satisfactorily, and they binned it but left traces in the code…?

I’m thinking it’ll be Switch 1, but the Direct will show how to performs on both consoles, to highlight the improvements. And they’ll confirm “select titles will have a free upgrade patch on NS2”

WHY NOT BOTH?!?!

Please excuse the shouting, but why does it have to be either/or? Why not keep the NSO subscription model, but add an option to buy the individual titles as well?

In a truly ideal world there’d be a third option where they recognise purchases on the Wii/Wii U/3DS VCs from your Nintendo account and let you download thm as individual titles without paying another premium, but that’s clearly wishful anti-commerce thinking

Whether they beat the PS2 or not is, to me, slightly less important than beating the DS and becoming Nintendo’s most successful piece of hardware to date, utterly flipping the narrative after the dark times of the Nintendoomed Wii U.

Hate the faces on the Japanese one, but feel like a map is a better indicator of the game. I’m getting Fire Emblem Shadow Dragon feels from that. I look at the top one and expect an action-packed Golden Axe clone

Bit rubbish you can only take guests who are in your Nintendo Account family group. The Switch 1 events let you take a random friend.

London not working

It’s a very cool trailer, but 100% spoiled by the leaks, and feels like it does the bare minimum to qualify as the promised “announcement this fiscal year”.

I’d have liked just one teeny little bit of detail that hadn’t been spoiled. Anything. Anything at all

I think this is a really cool idea, love the music, and kudos to NLife for the effort, but reading the comments above, I think we could all do with some transparency about how games get classified as Shovelware

@shiftbarackyeaugh yeah, I broke up the repetition of practicing the last special stage by getting all the characters through the game

@obijuankanoobie @shiftbarackyeaugh I did it! Took a few days of practice (not solid, I have work and life stuff too) but I finally bagged the 7th emerald as Amy with 200/200 rings.

Tough, but doable, and oh so satisfying in the end
