The extra foliage does lend itself to LttP prequel placement, but Ganon should be stuck in the Sacred/Dark Realm at that point, so I’m thinking this in the “Era of Decline” between Link Between Worlds and original LoZ.

@Bobb I think the Lost Woods are still there, just in front of the volcano.

But there appears to be a big treehouse where the sanctuary/graveyard are meant to be, and Link’s (Uncle’s) house is missing (though there may be a steam trail coming from a chimney near there?)

If the Switch is “current gen”, then surely anything released after the OG Switch can’t be retro, can it?

Correction: kids born in the last 7 years will be in Year Two at most, they won’t have finished it yet. My second daughter was born when the Switch was only 2 months old, and she’s still got a whole term to go yet…

I’m not entirely convinced that Wind Waker HD and Link’s Awakening DX shouldn’t be on this list.

Does he have actual statistics for how people use the system, or is he presuming that “most people” use it the same way he does?

In 8 years I’ve never felt the need to buy a pro controller - I’m perfectly happy with unclipped joy-cons. But I don’t blame people who prefer the Pro.

The beauty of the system is that the modular design allows people to play however they want. On-board controls and separate Pros would feel like a step back, removing some of the system’s flexible appeal.
