Re: Poll: Did The Splatoon Global Testfire Hit Its Targets?

There were a few minor hiccups matching but was otherwise the game performed perfectly. I was a little apprehensive about the motion controls initially but they quickly became second nature. The window of opportunity to use the demo was a little inconvenient but still managed to make it for one of the sessions. Overall I'm definitely counting down the days to launch.

Had a few hick-ups with the demo but otherwise it was awesome!

Did anyone else have sound issues? My monitor doesn't have speakers so normally I rely on the Gamepad for all the sound. Normally that isn't an issue but for the demo I got nothing but silence with the occasional sound clip with someone called out. Sound worked perfectly for the mini-game between rounds though.

I love Streetpass but have no intentions of joining any kind of group. The whole fun of the feature is seeing which new people you come into contact with not the same people all the time. I get the majority of my SP hits from comic/anime conventions where the queue fills up every couple of minutes. The rest of the time I just walk through my local Best Buy and use Play Coins. That's enough for me and my two 3DS'.

DC was basically an evolution of the Neo Geo's 'arcade at home' concept. To this day there are some great gems which will probably never see publication again. My personal favorite is Tech Romancer which I'm hoping will get another sequel some day.
