Less details at distance, to be expected, and a tiny bit less texture details (we're talking a couple of small rocks) with overall less tall grass. If you weren't directly comparing, you'd be hard pushed to point out the changes from the top of your head.

@TerribleTerabytes This was my second Souls Game and it's easier, but not easy. You can follow some YoutTube guides on how to get strong early on (and get money) and that'll see you through for the first 10 or so hours till you get your footing - instead of being one-shot'ed repeatedly!

Tried this on an ASUS ROG Xbox and it ran very well. I imagine they can do a good job on the Switch. This will be Game Key-Card purely because of its size - it's a huge file on PC/PS5.

Good to see Assassin's Creed Shadows sell so well on Switch 2. It's an amazing port of the game and nothing beats playing it handheld on the go.

Hopefully the resolution upgrade is done well because I can't wait to see this game in Full 1080p/4K, as opposed to 368/576p-720p!

It's such a shame they have absolutely ruined this game with microtransactions and blocking progress unless you pay.

They definitely need to change the delivery fee on Nintendo Reward (Platinum Coin) products. £4.99 is excessive and will stop me from getting anything else, I'm afraid.

I'd say 8/10. It's great to have a modern version, and additions are great, but they've taken away some of the stuff that made the original so whacky and weird (and fun).

Picked this up last weekend. The first boss fight is extremely challenging and I feel kind of stuck. It seems like a decent game though, but a remake for Switch 2 seems unneeded.

Picked up Snack World yesterday and it looks great with Boost Mode on Switch 2. Also playing Disney Speedstorm, for my sins.

Loved the game, but it was a technical mess - even on the PS5. Hopefully, this version can iron out all the issues.

I'm hoping this will be longer than the usual Yoshi games, which although are always made so well, they never last long enough.

If they hadn't made the Generations pack so hard to get, they'd have had a sale off me, too.

Bought it on sale today. Surprisingly good fun, high quality but very tough even on “Story” difficulty! Will probably grab the DLC as it’s all on sale too.

£64.99 in the UK. Unless you need these, I won't buy them. Unlike with Switch 1, when I used to have a couple extra sets cause they looked nice.

I just bought the original Charge Case and it's fine. I only paid £29.99 for it. I wouldn't be paying £99.99 just so I can see the charge % outside the case or charge it externally.

I got the update and... it's not worth it. The resolution difference is barely noticeable, in fact the game map is still a ridiculosly low resolution, and there are still frame pacing issues and some menus are still janky.

It's disappointing that you are sharing this artile as fact when gameplay (docked and handheld) that has now appeared online over the last day or so suggests that this video, and others like it, are totally incorrect.

There's a new video showing docked play and it looks good. I'm highly tempted as I have the original version on Steamdeck and to upgrade it is £35 alone, so might as well get the Switch 2 version for a little more.

Are they trying to make this the most unpopular Nintendo game ever? Also, "fast-paced"? We've all seen the promo videos... It looks like a slog.

This game was boring on PS5 and sold terribly. This Switch 2 port looks extremely lazy and is graphically a mess. It's not worth the £5 it sells for on the PS Store half the time, let alone full price.

I certainly won’t be paying £5 for this. It should have been free.

The different here is that Arms was colourful and fun. I bought it Day 2. This looks… dull in both senses of the word. I don’t think I’ll be picking this up. Ever.

Judging by the YouTube views on Nintendo’s videos, very few other people are interested.

I never bought the second expansion as I tired myself out, and now I'm onto Hello Kitty Island Adventure, but I appreciate all the updates and the love the game gets.

Can't wait. I loved this on the Wii U and I'd say it's still my favourite XC game - the world was so immersive and the creature variation was so much better than other games. Also, graphically, I feel it looks the best - the Switch just couldn't handle the other games properly and they are blurry and low-res.

Really disappointed, but not surprised as every company is doing the same and putting up prices while giving customers less.

I got it Day 1, put in 85 hours in a month and finished it all. I loved it! Can’t wait for the next one.

@NinjaNicky You can change the in-game time in the game menu. It's really quick and easy.

207 total hours. 58 on Disney Speedstorm. 51 on Disney Dreamlight Valley. 27 on Zelda. 14 on Pokemon Violet. 12 on Diablo 3. 11 on Fire Emblem Engage. 4 on Hogwarts Legacy.

I've only just gotten into this game, but at £24 it offers great value. I've played 35 hours in the last few weeks, and the content just keeps on coming - if anything, there are too many quests and tasks to keep up with. The best part is that they are all pretty varied (and sometimes quite long or weird and wonderful, or can take several days to find all the bits for) so you don't feel like it's boring filler content.

Also, unlike Disney Speedstorm, all that is locked behind Moonstones (paid currency) are cosmetics. You get access to all characters and storylines for free.

It updated and I'm miffed, but what can I do? I feel access to materials in TotK is lesser than in BotW, and that already wasn't exactly overflowing with stuff.

Must be up to 10 hours now. I'm taking it slow and feeling rather overwhelmed as it's actually much more difficult! It feels like Game+ from BotW as standard.

These prices are nuts. I got two Vue tickets for £7 (£3.50 each) the other month when I went to see it with a friend.

I used to have one of these. It was basically useless, but looked cool. Now I know why it was so useless. Good old Nintendo!

Just picked this up yesterday with Persona Q.

Demo is great, but will pick it up in the sale. For £43 it's a bit steep for a 10-hour non-replayable game.

It’ll be Pokémon Home connection. They said it was coming in early 2023.
