All this shows in analysts know nothing. Why would they sell 300,000 in just Japan? No other revision console has a managed that. Did even Nintendo expect this?
I’ve just rekindled my love for the 3DS! Splurged on loads of cheap games for it that are all heavy hitters for the console. Even got myself a special edition New 2DS XL Animal Crossing Edition!
Given it is Ubisoft, I'm sure future support will be there to make this game as good as I can be on Switch. The planned DLC itself is reason enough to buy the game - a further 55 tracks and countless accessories etc.
At the end of the day, the DLC is basically free because the “Good Edition” costs just £27 on Amazon. So unless the base game is £15, you aren’t paying more than a regular full price title.
Probably won’t buy this. Woolly World was so simplistic and childish it was a rip off for £40. Having watched Nintendo Treehouse extended play of this game, it looks even easier and simplistic...
I buy physical when possible purely because of the economics of it. For example, yesterday I bought Flipping Death. It was £19.99. It’s £17.99 on the eShop. But, when I’m done I can sell it to CEX for £14. That means it only cost me £5.99.
Gotta love folk talking about the price. This is two games in one (that cost £40 each back when they came out on the Wii U) and you’re getting some new characters thrown in. It’s available for £37 in the UK pre-order.
Plus, there are now roughly 20m Switch owners against 13m Wii U owners. This game didn’t sell massive numbers before either. They want as much money as they can get.
Who didn’t see this coming a mile off? The game barely runs properly on PS4 and Xbox and has so many graphical intricacies. Also, it’s designed to be online 24/7.
I was interested in doing a triple dip, but the 10GB download ha sput me off. I'd rather buy this as a physical, but I refuse to import as it ends up being over £40.

Re: Deals: Starlink: Battle For Atlas Starter Pack Drops To A Ridiculous £10.99 In The UK
@Monkeido It’s because they’ve added in so much extra content. Not because it wasn’t on the cart to begin with.
Re: UK Charts: Fire Emblem: Three Houses Gets Number One, Almost Doubles Awakening's Launch Sales
In years gone by, how often could you say that thirteen of the top twenty UK games would be on a Nintendo console?!
Re: Guide: Nintendo Switch vs Nintendo Switch Lite: What Are The Differences?
That branding looks pretty cheap and nasty. But, I do like the form factor and the yellow one. Do I need one? No. Will I buy one? Probably.

This article actually made me change my pre-order.

Re: Asphalt 9: Legends Speeds Onto Switch This Summer For Free
Great game, especially for free. Plays great on iPhone. This will be an automatic download.
Re: Video: Watch 20 Minutes Of The Adventure Mode In Crash Team Racing Nitro-Fueled
Only issue I have, and I know it’s because it’s an old game, is that the tracks are so short.
Re: Starlink: Battle For Atlas' Huge Crimson Moon Update Is Now Live
What exactly is in the new DLC? There doesn’t seem to be much info on it.

Re: Level-5 Shares New Yo-Kai Watch 4 Trailer
I honestly have no idea why it takes them two to three years to translate these games.
Re: Here's Your First Look At The Special Detective Pikachu Pokémon Card Set
The original cards looks so much better. These are so over the top and full of stuff you can barely make out what’s happening on them...

Re: Nintendo Download: Gaming On The Go Sale (Europe)
I'm not used to Nintendo offering us such amazing deals through their eShops! So many good games on that list to buy if you don't already have them.
Re: Talking Point: Nintendo Has Stumbled With Switch Online, But It Can Learn From Its Mistakes
For £17 a year (or free if I use my Gold Points) I get online play, free games and discounts on stuff.
For £60 a year on PS4/Xbox you get the same, albeit with a larger choice since they’ve existed longer.
I don’t get why people are so raging...
Re: The Pokémon Let's Go Series Could Progress To Johto If Players Enjoy Lets Go Pikachu And Eevee
Why not? More variation is a good thing and let’s face it, who wouldn’t love full 3D HD remakes of the original games?

£70 for that new Star Ship Ubisoft game digitally!?

Re: Review: Flipping Death (Switch)
I wonder, how long is it? I believe Stick It to the Man was about 10 hours. I really fancy this physical, but £24 is maybe too much.

These will tank. I never even got round to finishing the first game.

600,000 copies means they expect the pick up rate to be 50% (France recorded over 1m Switch sales back in February).
