Amiibo are basically collector figurines that also happen to have another function, rather than your traditional NFC videogame figure.

If Nintendo had made an open world game that utilised them well, they'd have done much better out of it.

I'm getting them all as I have 850 points rotting away!

I'm picking this up for £25 from Base.com. That's a bargain.

Pay the extra £3 or so and get CaveStory+ as a physical copy with free CD soundtrack and full colour manual.

I enjoy going in to GAME purely because it is the only dedicated gaming store throughout most of Scotland. However, I very rarely buy anything as their prices are criminal.

All the supermarkets and online sites are selling GTA V on Xbox One for around £24 - GAME are selling it pre-owned [!!!] for £28.99. Only reason I got it there is because I had a trade-in worth £24...

Might pick this up, as I passed on the other two versions not knowing which to buy.

My TV has all the apps I could ever need. As does my Xbox One. My phone can even connect wirelessly to my TV now.

I'm honestly not bothered about apps on Switch. If they come it's fine, but I'm not annoyed I don't have them.

You know what is annoying, THQ? Charging us £35 for a game that costs £20 on other consoles. Or charging us £24.99 for a game others get for £14.99... 😑

The old logo was better as it included the name of the game and a taste of what the game is about. This is just plain ugly...

Considering they only charge $499 [$200 for the paint job] for a fully decorated Switch package, charging $130 extra for some JoyCon is insane...

@timson72 Amazon.co.uk has them in stock today. Local stores in the UK also have them. Also, my local stores in Reykjavik are full of them.

Are people forgetting the Wii launched at Christmas time? Nintendo made sure they had enough stock for a bumper Xmas period, but after Xmas it was impossible to find anywhere in the world.

Switch launched in March. And Nintendo basically all but admitted it was a soft launch to prepare for Christmas 2017.

@Joytendo22 I already own a Switch and accessories. Got basically all the games as well atm. The issue in Iceland is the cost - the Switch retails here for 50.000kr (£385) minimum. Games start at 5.500kr (£42). Accessories are ridiculously expensive. Even a 3DSXL costs 40.000kr (£307)!

On the other hand, you can get a PS4 with 2 games for about 35.000kr (£270)...

In Reykjavik, Iceland you can find them everywhere. People in Iceland don't care about Nintendo. I've never seen a nation more obsessed with Sony!

I went into a store yesterday and there must have been at least 20 Switch consoles sitting (in both colours), Special Edition Zelda, accessories, cases etc.

They even have the NES Mini in stock here - and the accessories!

Picked this up for £22 physical, including postage from US to the UK, off Amazon.com. Looking forward to it. Never played before.

The only reason Horizon: Zero Dawn is doing so well is because it got massive price drops. I'm sure if ARMS cost £25 it'd be number 1...

Nintendo are simply dragging their feet on this. The Wii has VC. The 3DS has VC. The Wii U has VC...

Wow. It's only 7 months since they came out. And what's the change? A new storyline and some extra Pokémon? For another £39.99? I think not, Nintendo.

We've always had more than one console. At one point, we had GameCube, PS2 and Xbox. Now we have a Wii U and a Switch, but we've just bought an Xbox One S. Mainly for 4K, but also for some games.

I bet it's another free-2-play game 😂

@Moon I recently read they've so far sold just over 4 million: 2.75m in the first 27 days and a further 1.3m since then.

Never played one of the other games in the series and I'm loving the demo. Can't wait for my full edition to come next week.

I'm going to go out on a limb here and say this is going to be good fun. Rabbid games were usually fun anyway, but with added Nintendo polish and Mario? I think we're onto a winner.

I loved Rabbids 3D on the 3DS and even Rabbids World on Wii U was a bit of fun.

Graphics aren't everything, but in the age of 4K screens and monitors and the Switch actually having hardware that can handle 1080p60, I'm getting fed up of developers putting out underpowered copies of games...

Go speak to Nintendo if you can't get your software to run properly. Surely they'd help?

God, you lot love to moan. The game is not "garbage" by any stretch of the imagination. Considering it's just £17.99 it's pretty feature filled. Handheld graphics could be better, yes, but I'll survive.
