@Moon I recently read they've so far sold just over 4 million: 2.75m in the first 27 days and a further 1.3m since then.

Never played one of the other games in the series and I'm loving the demo. Can't wait for my full edition to come next week.

I'm going to go out on a limb here and say this is going to be good fun. Rabbid games were usually fun anyway, but with added Nintendo polish and Mario? I think we're onto a winner.

I loved Rabbids 3D on the 3DS and even Rabbids World on Wii U was a bit of fun.

Graphics aren't everything, but in the age of 4K screens and monitors and the Switch actually having hardware that can handle 1080p60, I'm getting fed up of developers putting out underpowered copies of games...

Go speak to Nintendo if you can't get your software to run properly. Surely they'd help?

God, you lot love to moan. The game is not "garbage" by any stretch of the imagination. Considering it's just £17.99 it's pretty feature filled. Handheld graphics could be better, yes, but I'll survive.

I pre-ordered the Splatoon Pro-Controller on Amazon. I can sell my plain black one to CEX for £43.

I got Azure Striker Gunvolt on the 3DS. It'd be great if they gave discounts across devices hint hint

I hope they keep updating it as much as they can to keep it as modern as other versions out there. It's been too of the chart since it launched, so I imagine it's selling like hot cakes.

I'm enjoying it, crafting is pretty deep and confusing. Never played MC before, but there's a first time for everything!

I got all the Pikmin stuff. I mean, it's better to use the Gold Points on something rather than letting them rot away to nothing...

All this info does is prove that if you put in the time and effort games can run at top spec on the Switch.

There is no excuse for things like NBA Playgrounds to look so cheap or for Minecraft not to function fully because Microsoft don't know what they are doing.

@gortsi If I remember rightly, it was reported the eShop version would be delayed in the UK. I cancelled my preorder as it felt like it was never coming...

I've have this purchased, but I'll download the demo. It'll tide me over until the game arrives.

I downloaded it last night, having never played Minecraft before, and I'm just finished the first part of the tutorial (where you build your shelter). And you know what? I love it! Amazing value for £19.99.

Got it pre-ordered for £25. That's this, ARMS, Disgaea 5 and more on my radar in the next 4 weeks alone!

I really wish we got sales numbers from the UK like we do in Japan, because judging on the age of some of the games creeping up the charts we must be talking 5 or 4-figure weekly sales.

@ThomasBW84 Sorry for the ignorance, but what is the difference between the normal version and a Story based version? The normal version has a story mode too, doesn't it?

I take it they are different enough to warrant different releases then?

Quick Question:

Is the eShop Minecraft the same version as the cart? Because the eShop version is just called "Minecraft Switch Edition" and the cart version is called "Minecraft Story Mode - Complete Adventure"?

I just bought Mutant Mudds Super Challenge yesterday from My Nintendo at full price with a measly 20% off... God sake, Nintendo!

I bought it. I'm not an NBA fan and have never played any of the past games. For £17.99 it's a steal! It's good fun, has a lot of replay value, at least 100 characters, about 10 [?] different arenas, and is graphically pretty pleasing on the TV. And that's before online multiplayer and future improvements come.

The load times are fine. My only complaint is that you need to learn the controls within one practice match. Wish they could be on-sreen all the time.

The charger costs £24.99 on it's own. A "brand name" HDMI cable is about £20. The dock itself is going to be vastly overpriced.

They had this set for sale at $89.99...

Has anyone played this yet? How is it? Graphics? Framerate?

@bem5 They merge, apparently. Because when I access the Japanese eShop on my console, all the games I bought on my EU account are marked as "Purchased"!

I realise NBA is two on two, but can you play single player against the computer?

It comes with a keyring... and not all versions give you freebies. I see nothing about them on Amazon, for example.

@Mopati Dó You need to have your NNID connected to the Japanese eShop though? Because I only have it connected to my European eShop. I only have a new Nintendo Account on the Japanese eShop. How would it share my purchase with my European account?

@Mopati Ah, so you have to buy it in the Japanese store for it to register in your local store? That would explain why Snipperclips and my other games don't show up in the Japanese store, since I bought them from the EU store originally.

@Mopati I mean that when I check my downloads in the Japanese store it only lists things I downloaded from the Japanese store (2 demos), not anything from the EU store.

@Mopati Puyo Puyo doesn't show up, you're right. But neither does all the other stuff I've downloaded from EU eShop. They doesn't show up on the Japanese one.

Which is annoying. Nintendo should just have made one world wide store...

@Mopati This surely can't be the case, because your email address would be different and also it's not linked to the same NNID, hence why money doesn't transfer across regions.

Stuff I've downloaded on my Japan account doesn't show up in my European account and vice versa.

I manage to get over 4 hours out of my system on battery. Just have WiFi off and screen right down. It's still more than bright enough.

For those moaning about the price, I traded in my Wii U version for £18 and found the Switch version for £34.99.

I don't think paying £16.99 for this upgraded version is a bad deal at all.

In Japan they are selling this for £65. The new battery packs for the Joy-Con are priced at £25.

I get that the rewards might not be what you personally want, but I've had more rewards from My Nintendo since it launched than I ever got from the old reward scheme over a decade.

The CDs were cool, but in general most of it was cheap plastic tat that served no use or purpose.

Worst handling of a product launch/availability ever.

I got the 3DS theme and all the Pikmin 3 DLC. Also, kind of tempted to use the existing 30% for Mutant Mudds Super Challenge.
