I only wanted the DLC from amiibo for Splatoon 2 & 3. So, I've bought the nfc card version, since Nintendo doesn't offer the DLC on eshop. You're loss Nintendo.

If they sold a TV-only console, my money is ready. I don't need the handheld, nor do I like a console built around a rechargeable battery. I'd also like more power, so I don't have to miss out on modern games. Needing to buy two consoles is ridiculous & wasteful.

As much as I want the game to release again, I worry it hasn't aged well. Is the walking around at the beginning janky enough to turn new players off? The driving missions are great, though, which is the core of the game.

Lack of power started getting old for me by 2019. I only wish xbox or playstation had enough games I want to justify buying a $500 console, but they don't.

Trials Rising is still one of my favorite games - over a hundred hours in that.

I liked the first Mario Rabbids, but the second one looks so bland I skipped it (especially since it will be so cheap in the near future). Still not sure I'll get it if it's discounted to $20, unfortunately.

It's a devious crime that Metal Gear games aren't on switch, FIVE YEARS into switch lifespan.

Rocket League - Trying to get higher in diamond rank 3v3. Been watching SpookLuke's videos lately. It's helping. (I don't think I've gotten out of Diamond 1 in 3v3 solo queuing). It's amazing how fun this game is when you learn new stuff and take new skills into matches.

And probably some Splatoon 3 Salmon Run. Still plugging away for silver scales to buy a black slopsuit. I've got 42 silver scales.

@sixrings Splatoon 3 added the ability to save jobs from salmon run. Using the grizzco computer in the salmon run training room, you can save Jobs. I'm thinking, you probably can save a Big Run job, and play that via local wireless with friends? This is just a guess, though. I don't have experience with local wireless Splatoon, and it's the first Big Run. It may be worth a try.

I think the bigger missed opportunity, is when a game doesn't offer you the option to play as a male or female character. My nieces would love if Zelda offered a female version of Link.

I think a new Crash Team Racing would have made more sense. That's what I was hoping for.

Zero confidence the game can run acceptably on switch hardware or Ninetndo's next gen. (Forgive my skepticism)

Free game offers like this have never yielded something I want to keep on the console. Also, I don't need the anxiety of having to get every game every 24 hours. "Missing a game will break the chain, and you won't be able to claim the next game".

1 Conch Shell = 1 Shell-out Machine capsule.
You will lose your unspent conch shells when spaltfest ends if you don't exchange them for capsules. Use them up! There's no benefit for saving them up.

(The game keeps track of your conch shells total for the week for calculating splatfest winners at the end of spaltfest. Your conch shell total is the same regardless of whether you spend them at the shell-out machine or not. So use them up! Free shell=out machine capusles!)

@LittIeZ You'll be fine. I think I got Splatoon2 four to five months after it's release. There's still two years of new periodic content updates for Splatoon 3.
