Re: Switch System Update 19.0.0 Is Apparently Causing Some Issues

Downloading with sleep mode works for me.

While downloading a NSO trial game, I put switch into sleep after the download started, then woke my switch a 10 seconds later, and the download progress had continued. A minute or so later, it was done.

I'm worried some peole testing this now may not have been aware of what their sleep mode settings were set at since many of us may not have touched them since setting up the switch.

So far I approve! All on one page! Table of contents at top to jump to sections. Well done, @dartmonkey!

I haven't liked when lists/rankings span across 3+ pages. I'm quite pleased with this.

Re: Opinion: I Didn't Realise How Much I'd Missed 'Traditional' Zelda Dungeons

@JimNorman I think it's interesting that after Nintendo promptly patched out out easy-duplication-glitches from BOTW and TOTK, now Nintendo's turned around and built the core of their new Zelda game around easy duplication.😆 Echoes are essentially duplication. The way they did it is wonderful, and it works!🌈 It's SO nice not-to-be-starving for resources like we do in BOTW and TOTK.

(I did love BOTW and TOTK. Although I did use the easy paraglider duplication in TOTK - it totally didn't hurt the game for me. I would love if Nintendo added an Echo mode update for TOTK.)

Re: Talking Point: Would $499 Be Too Much For 'Switch 2'?

WoomyNNYes

I would pay $500 usd for Switch 2, especially if the power upgrade is worth it. I like both modern games AND nintendo. Needing to buy a PS5 or Series X on top of a Nintendo console is even more ridiculous, which is situation for the current Switch gen.

But, I think the $500 price point would hurt console sales numbers. So, I expect Switch 2 to be closer to $400-ish.

Re: Talking Point: One Year On, Has Everyone Beaten Ganondorf In Zelda: Tears Of The Kingdom?

WoomyNNYes

Fighting ganon is about all that's left in my game, but I'm never in the mood for the final boss battle. It just seems stressful. Plus, there are zero games that I want releasing for the rest of the switch's life. MAYBE, if I knew there was another big game or two left to release for the Switch, that I want, I could be more motivated to beat TOTK, but there's nothing on the horizon that I want. Where the heck is Wind Waker, Nintendo? Gee whiz.
