Re: Talking Point: What Do We Actually Want From 'Mario Kart 9'?

WoomyNNYes

A single player campaign - could be forza horizon style, gta driving missions, diddy kong, or crash team racing inspired. Splatoon is a multiplayer game and has a single player camapaign, and I love it - granted it's not a race game.

Driving styles like cratch team racing had. Driving styles lets you race with any character you want the way you want. Enough with the one or two meta characters, karts, and parts.

Re: Opinion: My Daughter Made Me Realise That Mario Wonder's Difficulty Options Need Work

@nervous-noodles They're having fun because my save profile is like a Funky Kong(easy mode) profile, with it's OP armor, powerful weapons, and hundreds of farmed arrows. My nieces are real young, never get into the game if they start from the beginning when link is weak.

Nintendo added assists for kids in Mario Kart it, asist mode for Mario Odyssey, Nabbit in Mario Wonder, Funky Kong in Donkey Kong Tropical Freeze. I'm just pointing out a similar option for BOTW could probably make man young kids new to gaming happy. We would have bought another copy of BOTW for my nieces if it had an easier character like my similar to my OP save profile.

@Olliemar28 BOTW could use an easy mode for kids. My nieces have racked up almost 100 hours wandering around BOTW, or catching horses, with my switch user profile (where I beat ganon already, have maxed out armor, plenty of good weapons & arrows). And recently, with little instruction, my niece also has a blast riding a horse dangrously close to guardians at the castle, seeing how long she can dodge their death beams. She loves it!😆

Seems like a huge missed opportunity on Nintendo's part.

Re: Rumour: Insider Claims That Halo: Master Chief Collection Will Come To 'Switch 2'

WoomyNNYes

Heck! Bring on Forza Horizon! Even Forza Horizon 2 is freaking great! In some ways, I like it better than newer Horizons.

My god though, I bet Switch 2 WON'T have analog triggers for racing games again. Nintendo BETTER make a pro controller with analog triggers. How is a console from japan, the land of drifting, not making official controllers with analog triggers. Nintendo loves making quirky controller accessories, yet still skips analog triggers. @Nintendolife if you catch any wind of an official switch 2 pro controller with analog triggers for racing games, that would make for a nice headline. (edit: Forgive me. I guess I don't need to tell you that.😁)

Re: Switch System Update 19.0.0 Is Apparently Causing Some Issues

Downloading with sleep mode works for me.

While downloading a NSO trial game, I put switch into sleep after the download started, then woke my switch a 10 seconds later, and the download progress had continued. A minute or so later, it was done.

I'm worried some peole testing this now may not have been aware of what their sleep mode settings were set at since many of us may not have touched them since setting up the switch.

Re: Best Zelda Games Of All Time

So far I approve! All on one page! Table of contents at top to jump to sections. Well done, @dartmonkey!

I haven't liked when lists/rankings span across 3+ pages. I'm quite pleased with this.

Re: Opinion: I Didn't Realise How Much I'd Missed 'Traditional' Zelda Dungeons

WoomyNNYes

@JimNorman I think it's interesting that after Nintendo promptly patched out out easy-duplication-glitches from BOTW and TOTK, now Nintendo's turned around and built the core of their new Zelda game around easy duplication.😆 Echoes are essentially duplication. The way they did it is wonderful, and it works!🌈 It's SO nice not-to-be-starving for resources like we do in BOTW and TOTK.

(I did love BOTW and TOTK. Although I did use the easy paraglider duplication in TOTK - it totally didn't hurt the game for me. I would love if Nintendo added an Echo mode update for TOTK.)
