Most sales so far is probably from bundle sales.

No surprise, they basically gave the switch 2 away in Japan.

I've heard that Minecraft is almost playable.

First switch 2 news that actually got me a bit excited!

Apart from the party game MKW, I have nothing new interesting to play apart from my switch 1 backlog.

Since I'm playing 100% docked, the over all experience is as if the switch got a snappier software update.

Nice to pay top dollar for a down grade.

I play 100% docked so I do not care too much about the screen and battery, but still disappointing to hear.

Probably only game breaking for competitive players.
I would not even have noticed... I do not even know how to use this to my advantage now that it has been pointed out to me.

My question is if peer to peer gets any better when playing on switch 2?

They should have sold the app for $10, and just upgrade the game for free as the other ones.

To me the story and voice acting is so bad in this game that i could not care less for more memories (And Zelda should be bad ass, but she does not sound the part at all, worst thing in the game imo. So I do not want to listen any more to her if I can avoid it )

But it's still my favorite game of all time so if I'm paying for any upgrade I guess it's this one... but this will hurt.

Needed a additional pro controller any way... and I expect the d-pad to work properly on this one.

Too expensive to buy two.

Found a physical copy of Violet + DLC on a sale a year or so ago.
My daughter was not impressed of it after playing Arceus first.
But I guess now is the time for me to give it a go, seems to be a divisive game.

Whenever Nintendo manages to deliver my switch pro i will check out all my switch 1 games on it.
My daughter will probably play MKW.

Guess they did not want the same reception as MKW got with the $80 price.

How could they not make a 10th anniversary splatfest?

I would have fought for 1 (3 is the best though)

On one hand it seems like Nintendo has been sitting on the switch 2 for a long time.
On the other hand this release feels rushed and unprepared.

It continues to be very confusing launch.

I just do not like being dependent on patches to be able to play my games.

Would be a good opportunity to present some switch 2 games that is actually worth buying.

At the very least say something about the switch 2 plans for Zelda, Mario, Splatoon, Animal Crossing, Pikmin...

My main problem is that Nintendo is not trying half a much, hardly at all :/

However, I would still be much surprised (and disappointed) if the switch 2 can not render e.g. a minecraft world faster than the switch 1.
Switch 1 is not keeping up due to lack of power, and you can sometimes walk faster than it can render.
So I can't even imagine how they could make the switch 2 mirror the performance of the switch 1 in a case like that, even if they tried...

It will take me 5 minutes to pop it in the switch 2 and figure out if it runs better.

They make zero effort to elaborate on how your switch one catalog will run on switch 2 (without upgrades)

It is important for most people that have lots of games.

Nintendo has control of the new hardware, they absolutely know what to expect in general from software running on it.

And I'm not going to buy a single one of them (a part from MKW that is packed in).
This is such a weak launch.
Old switch games better run notably better on this thing... but considering Nintendos hardly wants to talk about it they probably don't...

If they at least could sell more of this stuff on My Nintendo for us in Europe...

I know, I know... and I've been back and forth about it... but we need a second switch, so it was buying an oled or a switch 2.
Then I've got an invite ...and thought what the hell.
But in short, I have never been this hesitant buying a Nintendo console :/

Switch 2 is the Switch Pro for me. I have no interest in the launch titles.
It's all about playing switch 1 games with better performance for me.

Probably true, but Nintendo still went through the trouble of making this list, they could just as well have done it properly.
Most normal people will not read it, the ones who does are the ones who cares.

How can Nintendo fail to communicate these simple things over and over again. It would be so simple for them to do it right. I'm starting to think it's on purpose...

Could possibly be useful in Splatoon... but might just as well be terrible depending on who it turns out you have actually become friends with in that game...
I might give it a try... my expectations are tempered.

I just do not see how playing with joycon- mouse for any period of time could be comfortable?

4 was a bit too bloated for me, I'd probably prefer to get the old games updated.

I did not pay full price for any switch 1 game.
Much thanks to staying a few years behind and waiting for mar10 day, black Friday etc.
Also to some extent thanks to game vouchers when "needing" a new game.

I will probably pay full price for Splatoon 4 since I spent 1000+ h in Splatoon 3
Maybe for a new 3d Zelda?

But I have quite a few backlog games that will be enhanced on switch 2, so I'm good for a while.

Needed a second switch for the kids, so they get my current and I get the new one...

My question is why they are using a picture of a switch 2 with almost no bezels?
I too would have liked it to look like that, but why are they using "fan art"?

At least they are known to put games on sale. So I might try something out when I can't afford the game I really want to play.
