It took me 6h to realize that I wasn't having fun enough to continue.

Not saying you seen everything in 6h, if it's your thing you're milage will vary.

I had 150h in MK 8, if it's fun, there's a lot of replay value.

So still no reason to return to this game.
Most expensive 6h of gameplay so far in my collection.

2025 has the longest fall in history.

Next, give me the option to save whenever i want.

Gave up waiting a long time ago, but if this actually happens I will check it out.

Why should Nintendo even bother to make switch 2 games?
Z-A is the way to go this generation, let's hope the next Zelda is using the same engine.

Feels like a bad deal if you are only two in the household that want to use occasional online and cloud saves.
Already own the legacy systems I'm interested in, so that does not add much value for me either.

If DK was a replacement for a 3D Mario... Those DK sales must be a bit of a disappointment for Nintendo.

How much better is Z-A selling than Bananza?
I have played neither, but are the sales numbers reflecting the quality of the respective game?
My gut feeling is that Bananza is selling less than what you would expect given the praise it's given, while it's the other way around for Z-A?

Not my thing really, but buying it for my daughter. She loves this stuff, I will try it out I guess.

Was planning to play the Outlaws demo, but I refuse to create a Ubisoft account... so that did not pan out.

If you are 20h in, then I guess you are not playing the 3h demo
The demo requires you to log in
But I'm happy to hear that you can play the real thing without logging in (you can't take anything for granted these days).

Ok so the "free" in the original headline makes sense when you realize you need to create a Ubisoft account to play the demo.
I'm not doing that.
Was actually interested to try it out.
Uninstalled, guess I will have to wait to try this till I find it on the street or something.

Have a NES but I can't say I care much about that generation of gaming any more.
SNES is where games starts to be worth playing in my opinion.

To me the switch 2 version is the more offending one. They should have added proper windows and busier streets etc.
Why is there even an upgrade if they did almost nothing.
(Just playing on stronger HW should solve the frame rate)

This is the game they are bundling with the switch 2 from now on...
That is going to convince people to upgrade...

When I can buy it from someone for around $40 used I will probably try it out.

Seems to be less of a success here...

What ever it was before, it's going to be way less for the switch 2.

Missing option Mario Kart 8

Payed full price for these back in the day already. Not worth the price just to be able to play them again on the switch.

I'd pay $10 each to not have to open the drawer to pull out the old controllers and power up the Wii U.

Why can't they sell Bowser's Fury as a separat download.
I already played 3D world on Wii U. No plans to play it again, nor do I want to pay for it again.

Rather power up the old Wii U if I want to play these, with motion controls no less.

Wonder if Nintendo consider that good or bad?

I would have loved an open world game in this setting. I want to drive around in one of those steam things.
But I think I have had my fill of Layton puzzles, so this is a maybe later...

Ha ha that's fair, well in short I'm mainly just not impressed by their "increased the frequency" patches. Just fix the problem already.

But there is a lot of balancing needed imo.
(I guess it's too late to hope for them to make free roam interesting ...what if you could upgrade you kart or something when finding medallions. etc .. all the missed potential just spoils this game for me)

Any way, this was not the "made the game fun" patch for me.

Not the update I'm waiting for.
Still not worth my $50.
