I would hardly call them quiet months. A steady stream of trailers have been added to the youtube channel for months now.

Nintendo has a problem with people distributing their ROMs, not the fact that ROMs exist. Stopping free distribution is about as far as they will go for most sites. They only go after people in court when they get financial gain from making their games available. Or, in the case of the Switch, that is current hardware and emulating it is costing them financially since they are currently making money from hardware and software sales.

Nintendo have been using emulators for years. The GBA Classic NES series was basically a cart with an emulator playing a NES ROM.

We want the excellence of Rogue Squadron, and instead they give us this crap.

The Yuzu devs were keeping links to Switch game roms behind a paywall on their Discord. They were profiting financially from their emulator. That is why Nintendo came down hard on them. Your Gameboy emulators should be fine, as long as you don't hand out the roms.

I loved the original on the DS but never got around to playing the sequel so this is an easy purchase.

Just port the 3DS version and improve the visuals.

I really enjoyed the DS game, but I'm worried I won't like the remake as much. The original made full use of the DS and incorporated everything the console could do into the game. My favourite being to close the lid and open it to stamp a page. How is that going to translate into this new remake.

Omni Man shouldn't even be in this game. He should mop the floor with anyone in the game with just one punch. To include him means he has to be severely nerfed. It is why Superman games never work because you just aren't playing as the character to their fullest.

My first Ganondorf was in A Link to the Past. And before anyone says "That is Ganon, not Ganondorf", he is named Ganondorf Dragmire in the game manual, so, yeah, he may be in Ganon form but his real name was known.

The PC version of the SNES game is superior. It wouldn't be right to leave it out, and the SEGA games.

At 0:48 you can see the Death Egg Robot. That is the only one that interests me.

Nintendo probably told Gamespot they will no longer provide any special editions or advanced knowledge of upcoming releases which would hurt Gamestop's bottom line.

Good to see the insecure men crying like Baby Mario over this. She lives in the Mushroom Kingdom and Mario has only been there for a day or two. Who else is going to train Mario how to survive in the Mushroom Kingdom. Also, Princess Peach hasn't always just been a damsel in distress. She has been a playable character that can hold her own in SMB games since 1988.

Ocarina of Time, I couldn't figure out how to get the Goron tunic. The door to the shop wasn't open and the shop owner doesn't sell the tunic to Child Link. I had no idea. I had to go get a strategy guide, which in the mid 90s meant I had to leave my house and go find the guide in a local store. I slapped my head when I read how to get it from the Prima Guide. Oh, and the universe punished me for looking at a guide. I opened the book right on the page where it reveals who Sheik is.

So, people moaned about the fog in Ocarina of Time but the clear lack of fog in the Xbox version is fine? Even when the truck changes colour as it is supposed to in the fog?

@JohnnyMind I tried it, it wasn't as good so switched them back.

It was hard when I first started playing but after a couple of hours I was playing just fine. The only real issue is the aiming controls due to the difference in how the control sticks work.

It took a while to get used to the controls but completing the game on Agent mode was a great way to relearn single stick FPS games. I do wish there was a way to remap the buttons. Strafing should be on the left stick and turning should be on the right stick.
