@westmeadow people who defend piracy always say "Make the game available and people will buy it." Well, Nintendo are making it available to buy, and people are still talking about getting it for free by piracy. Are piracy defenders just full of crap?

Physical versions of the game can be purchased in the £75 - £200 price range depending on the condition. The games will be £16.99 on the eshop. You don't call that reasonable?

I didn't need an example of an overly entitled gamer, but thank you for showing everyone how annoying you people really are. You seem to forget that the original Pokémon games have technically had 4 remakes over the last 30 years. Why would they make yet another one, especially when the last remakes only came out a few years ago and is still readily available to purchase?

• People complain the game isn't on NSO.

Nintendo are damned no matter what they do for these over entitled gamers.

If the port wasn't finished and they plan on making improvements, why did they shadow drop the game? Nobody was waiting for this on Switch so you can't delay something that people don't know about. Why not get the game working then release it? Aspyr do this all the time.

Despite getting offended everytime people point it out, a large section of the gaming community are obsessed with T and A.

Hyrule Warriors: Age of Imprisonment, Metroid Prime 4 and Mortal Kombat Legacy Edition are on my list.

@TheExile285 It is a Warriors game set during the Imprisoning War. You pick a character and kick the ***** out of all the enemies on the screen, then go to a new location and kick the ***** out of those enemies. What else are you expecting from it?

As a diorama only two iconic scenes would be plausible. Young Link meeting Ganondorf outside the castle, or the final battle against Ganon.

When you see the UK prices, they really haven't upped the prices that much for the basic amiibo. They were £12.99 originally, and now £16.99. Sure, the bigger cycle one is more expensive, but the individual character ones are only slightly more expensive, which can simply be put down to normal inflation. Americans only have Trump tariffs to blame for their large price jumps.

With how badly they handled the PSP and the Vita, they should just stay away from the portable market. I'm not a hater, I own both handhelds. PSP was a great emulator machine if you got a hackable one, but not much else and the Vita was basically sent out and abandoned to die by Sony.

They included that image of Mario because they know Nintendo will shut it down, which will give them tons of free advertising when it hits the news.

Mythologies Sub Zero might be a bad game, but it is the game that retconned the fact that Scorpion's family and clan was destroyed by Quan Chi. Until then, it was never said they were destroyed, and it was even hinted that his family was still alive in Scorpion's ending in the first game.

Free to Start will probably be rental Pokemon, the paid version will let you use your own from Home.

I wish they did more with the playable characters. Rather than just faceless generic players, there is no individuality behind them. I hoped that Nintendo was just using these characters as a stand in before coming up with an IP later, but sadly, no. As such, I really have no interest.

If you use the MiG to backup your games, then that means you have the original game cards. Why not just use them and nothing bad will happen.

It is a double edged sword. If they made different size cards, some developers of larger games would buy the smallest one possible then force you to download the rest of the content.

I was hoping this was a tech demo that would be filled in with an actual IP later. They did that before with generic characters with the 3DS game Blast Ball before making it a Metroid themed game.

If I'm being honest, they should have delayed launching the Switch 2 so it launched with this and Mario Kart. Two mainline series games on day one would have been a better idea rather than delaying one for a month and a half.

My Switch 2 order and the Zelda amiibo order both shipped out of Nintendo yesterday. The rest is in the hands of the Royal Mail now.

As a child of the 80s, I wish Codemasters would do something with some of the other franchises they own. Codemasters used to be synonymous with fun, wacky games, now it is just racing game after racing game.

I hate to be that guy but this is just a reshaded Tears of the Kingdom. All the whimsy from the toon games is nowhere to be seen from the environments and the world. This is a lot of work but you need to do more than just update graphics and turn on the bloom.

I got mine today about 10am (UK time). I now have a Switch 2, Mario Kart, Gamecube controller, and Pro Controller on pre-order. Now time to figure out how to pay for it hehehe.

Nintendo need to drop the Mario Kart Direct now. If there is so much we don't know that justifies the price, then tell people. Having a Direct AFTER pre-orders go live is dumb.

Buying the game alone is £66. Buy the bundle and the game is only £30. If you are wanting Mario Kart, clearly the bundle is the way to go.

Hopefully they reign in Jim Carrey in the next one. I liked him as Robotnik in the first two movies but he was a bit annoying in the third one. The whole "Gerald daddy issue" plot was funny for about 5 minutes. Sadly, it stayed around for most of the movie.

If this is real, DBrand are gonna get sued hard by Nintendo. I hope the 5 minutes of fame was worth it.

Why they are dragging their feet on the Rogue Squadron trilogy, I will not understand. Nintendo already has those in their back catalogue. Would it really take much to get them ported over to the Switch?
