How do GameStop employees not understand gamers when they are also gamers? Thank you for the point about even the box needing to be pristine. That's how a real gamer feels.
The generations overlapped for a long time with PS4 and PS5 due to supply shortages. This generation transition will also overlap for a long time because of stuff like this.
What exactly is there to upgrade, anyway? The enhanced version didn't even look remastered.
Character designs, huh? I didn't see any "anime tropes" in the previews. I guess there are some disproportionate characters to unlock.
Seriously though, it seems weird to use top talent for characters that have already been designed. I guess Monolith isn't in full development of their next project yet.
I'm hyped for both, but this makes me more hyped for Shinobi. Almost all of the environs in this trailer look ripped straight from Symphony of the Night! That makes no sense and doesn't fit at all. It's like they don't know how to exit Blasphemous mode. Also, I kind of want some Japanese-sounding music.
I was confused and had to read the Wikipedia. It was developed in the 90's but wasn't published. It has kind of a similar story to Clockwork Aquario in being a lost but recovered 16-bit game.
Well, Konami should have a thing or two to teach everyone about surviving despite the odds. So maybe it's a worthwhile game. 🤷♂
Also, I love the interviewer's subtle dig at the samey graphical style by asking how they stand out against other multiplayer titles like Overcooked and Moving Out. There are any number of co-op games she could have picked. 😆
I think whatever loading speed difference Nintendo is achieving with this new type of SD card (and this the game cards) will end up being the Sony PS Vita memory card mistake of this generation.
Mario Kart World digital copies won't be in here though. And with the $30 discount, it will mostly be sold digitally. Or whatever the price difference is in the UK.
Deep down I kinda hope all of these true artists leaving their jobs are going to new development team Clovers. Having a team of auteurs within a well-funded corporation like Capcom might be just what the industry needs.
My Limited Run games arrive much faster than the things I've ordered through whichever European outlet I ordered Tiny Thor through. I'm interested in buying this, partly due to the large file size.
Opinions of this should of course factor in that the game was released several weeks ahead of schedule, perhaps aided by this technique. And that likely freed up Monolith to help get TOTK over the finish line.
I'll be surprised if they do this given that Another Code Recollection wasn't carried by major American retailers and seems to have not broken a million. Then again, systems over goals.
I believe this is the first Round Up article to not include any professional opinions, just players. I don't necessarily have a problem with it, but it's an interesting development.
There's so much brilliance in this game. Secondary functions for weapons, a shooting range, co-op campaign (which was uncommon at the time), counter-op campaign (still uncommon), combat simulator challenges, etc.
Right as I was making a clean sweep of the first three last week for pilgrimage's sake. It's like when you've 100%ed a game but then there's an update.
If they wanted to better live out "together anytime anywhere," they'd have a camera that's more portable like that third party produced.
But at the very least, why can't it plug into the dock directly?
It does seem like seamlessly integrating screen sharing into the UI is not found in many other places. And developers can bring facial reactions next to the characters themselves on screen which is a very neat innovation. So it's unfairly derided as "just Discord."
If they're really that committed, they will produce the variety of game card sizes that will enable a healthy third party physical game market.
And the higher bus speeds or whatever of these new cards might prove to be this generation's version of the PS Vita's memory card mistake. Nintendo-first physical collectors might provide a second wind for PS5 sales, all for the sake of faster media and Nintendo trying to "get with the times" regarding specs.
I wonder what the etymology is of Japan using x to mean "and." It doesn't mean that, and they've gotta stop. For example, I refuse to say "Drag and Drive" and will call it "Drag Ex Drive."
Canonically, Culex would be using the Lightning item way too much.
It would be funny if they add the Blue Falcon next April 1st to see how hard it would be for him to go slowly around these short courses relative to F-Zero ones.
I'm surprised no one corrected Tatanga being from the first Super Mario Land.
I want to know how prominently they will label any game key cards they're distributing.
I also want to know if they're planning to pursue any genuine physical releases for game key card games, depending on cars sizes that might later be released. This, if Elden Ring is too big for a 64gb card but a 128 comes out in 2 years, might we see a rerelease? Or could Bravely Default HD get a full release under LR?
I think my misophonia will cause me to turn off the system sounds on day one.
The comments on that bleat or whatever they're called suggest that we shouldn't be keeping our Switch 1's on their docks to rest. I've been on this site for 5 years but have never heard that. Does that mean it's bunk? Or does that mean there's an article that should have been written that wasn't? Or was that improved in the silent battery renovation in 2019 or whenever it was?

Re: Bandai Namco And Brownies Reveal Mystical New Roguelite-RPG For Switch
I never knew the founders of Brownie Brown left 1-Up Studio. 😕
Re: PSA: Switch 2's Flashy New Kickstand Is Perfect For TATE Mode Play
Both Switches have 2 more modes than advertised: vertical/tate and tablet. That's a lot more switching than even Nintendo intended.
Re: Feast Your Eyes On The Official Switch 2 Launch Trailer
What was the game where the barrels were bouncing and rolling? It looked third party but would have been hilarious spliced right after Donkey Kong.
Re: Random: What Do Switch 2 Cartridges Taste Like? The Experts Weigh In
People say video games aren't good for you. But if they taste this bad, they have to be healthy.

Re: Adorable 'Little Nemo' Metroidvania Wakes Up On Switch Next Year
I'm loving this and could see myself playing the soundtrack while working.
That style and then transitioning to the logo for Die Soft was quite jarring though. 😆

Re: Mario Kart World Producer Answers The Biggest Question Of All: Does Cow Eat Hamburgers?
Isn't this how mad cow disease happened? I guess not since it wasn't mentioned despite this being a British site. But it's how I recall it going down.
Re: A New 3D Metroidvania Has Been Confirmed For Switch 2
Whatever it takes to shoehorn in a Silksong reference I guess.
Re: Classic Atari 2600 Title 'Adventure' Is Being Revived As A Metroidvania
I'm not Digital Foundry at all, but is that 15 FPS maybe?

Re: Switch 2 Accessory Maker Unveils Pro Controller Case With Built-In Charging
This is good timing with the super ultra Switch 2 tote only having room for one pro controller. I like JSAUX's Steam Deck Dock.

Where do you put the camera?
Re: Lorelei And The Laser Eyes Dev Teases Switch Port Of Critically Acclaimed Text Adventure

Re: A New Arcade Baller Is On The Way, But Temper Those NBA Jam Expectations
So many genres are in a golden age lately. But wrestling and arcade sports are in the doldrums relative to the late 90s.
Re: Here's A Look At The Size And Inside Of Switch 2 Game Cases
@Zufolobelisk My bad. I thought this was Genki the accessory manufacturer.

Why couldn't this have been Soliani? It would have been a perfect pairing.
Re: Random: Do You Recognise This Obscure Nintendo Console From The Switch Online Icons?
Ironically, I missed out on these icons because I was in Japan travelling.

I thought they said the controllers would be quieter. 🙃
Re: Poll: Box Art Brawl - Duel: F-Zero X
The Japanese cover turns Captain Falcon into Red Falcon (from Contra 3) with his creepiness and positioning. Very unfortunate.
Re: Nintendo Expands Switch Online's Game Boy Library With Four More Titles
@PikminMarioKirby I, for one, appreciate the spoiler-free versions of these.
This is a good haul.

Genki still leaking I see.

Re: Here's Your First Look At Pokémon Scarlet And Violet On Switch 2

Put Asano in charge of the whole company. He's their Miyamoto right now.
What exactly are their other divisions? Pachinko?
Re: Review: The Hundred Line - Last Defense Academy (Switch) - An Addictive VN & Tactics Blend With Notes Of Persona
The second image shows the game talking about pooping. Wow. If that's what one can expect from this, I'm surprised it's scoring well.
Re: Review: Lunar Remastered Collection (Switch) - Two Of The Most Charming RPGs Ever Get A Fair, If Flawed, Port
The quotation in the 5th screenshot is definitely a reference to the 1993 movie The Fugitive.
Re: Back Page: Mario Kart World's Roster Is Full Of Deep Cuts, So Where Are These Guys?
I could see a Cappy capture or two working.
I second Boom-Boom and Raphael the Raven.

It's not an Easter egg if they tell you about it.
Re: Random: Unofficial Smash Bros. Dating App 'SmashTogether' Shut Down By Nintendo
@Polvasti
Nintendo Force in the US had to change to NF magazine. I assume the difference is US laws vs. UK ones.
Re: Review: Shotgun Cop Man (Switch) - Move Over, Meat Boy, There's A New Sheriff In Town
It reminds me a bit of Gunbrella or Downwell, also by Devolver, with the traversal being from the weapon. And Sonic with the health mechanic, haha.
I can't get over the dude looking like a thumb.
Re: Community: 38 Switch Games We Missed, As Recommended By You
A few of these I remember from Indie World presentations. So it's weird that they didn't make a splash after that.
