@PinderSchloss fair enough, that's your opinion so you're not wrong. I've personally loved BotW and TotK's innovative gameplay and I'm really looking forward to EoW's new approach. Sorry to hear you haven't been enjoying where they've been taking the series.

I like it but the background looks too washed out.

@OldGamer999 I don't think Nintendo's got anything to worry about. Horizon's not that great a game. It would take a lot more than that to sell Playstation.

I'm replaying TTYD after all this time and I am enjoying it but if I'm being honest I think I like Origami King better. I know most will think that's strange but it's true.
Anyway it's still awesome to see the game do well.

I absolutely love the game but got stuck about 40 hours in trying to beat a boss. That's my only gripe about the game, it's just a bit too difficult for my tastes. A difficultly option would have been appreciated. I hope Silksong has one.

Kid Icarus: Uprising would be my no. 1 because there's just not enough love for Kid Icarus from Nintendo. That and it's a fantastic game. Like twenty years between instalments is too long. Kid Icarus could be right up there with the Zelda series but Nintendo keeps neglecting it.

I thought Bravely Default 2 was the best game in the series and a really underated gem of a JRPG. It's also graphically one of the best looking Switch games out there. Here's hoping we get Bravely Default 3.

Well that's disappointing. I was really hoping for a General direct and some new 1st party stuff. Nintendo 1st party line-up in now looking pretty meagre.

This makes more sense then the rumours saying this year. The Switch is still selling great and they stated Switch will be their main business going into 2024. They have around a 120 million active users. That's a lot of customers to sell their games to. I can't see them abandoning those customers at this point for a new console. I know Nintendo fans want Switch 2 but Nintendo are a business. They want to sell games to as many people as possible. Switch is where it's at for that at the moment.

This talk of a partner showcase is wishful thinking by people who want it to be that way because in their mind a partner showcase would mean a Switch 2 reveal.
Switch is still selling great. 120 million customers. Why would they not sell more games to those customers. I don't think we'll get Switch 2 until next year.

I don't know how anyone could have thought Gamepass was coming to Switch when half the games on there wouldn't even technically be able to run on Switch. Sheesh!

I'm not in any rush for Nintendo's next system as the Switch is still providing me with plenty of great games but at this point I would like them to announce it just so I don't have to put up with all the rumours and speculation.
The years of endless Switch Pro talk ( which amounted to nothing I might add ) was bad enough.

@basswitch I had the exact same thing happen with the pirate king quest. Every time I'd except it the game would freeze. I just gave up in the end and didn't do that side quest.

I absolutely cannot stand game trailers that are mostly CGI with hardly any gameplay. It's one of the things I hate most about the industry at the moment.
I don't want to watch a movie. Show me some gameplay. Sick and tired of this trend.

@PipeGuy64Bit It definitely needs a reprint. Copies are way too expensive out in the wild.

I'm playing through it at the moment and I'm thoroughly hooked. Glad I pre-ordered the physical as it seems to be sold out everywhere.

I'd rather they re-release the Switch version. That I would definitely buy. Still kicking myself I didn't get it first time around.

I'm always up for more Panzer Dragoon. Played the hell out of it on my Saturn and loved the remake. Still think Zwei is the best in the series so I hope it gets a remake.
An Evangelion game would be cool. Besides that I hope Alex Kidd and Altered Beast get new games.

Bloody amazing game and my game of the year too.

Not gonna lie, I liked the first game better. Can't quite put my finger on it but I think I just liked the characters and world better in the first one.

@SpeedRunRocks I prefer the look of hand drawn 2D artwork over pixel art. Pixels were a product of the day caused by hardware constraints and while there's a nostalgic charm to them I personally don't think they look as nice as high quality hand drawn art. Truth is is that it's easier for developers to create pixel art and its been done to death.

I'm a massive fan of Golden Axe and out of all five of these games it's the one I'm most interested in. Such an awesome series from SEGA. I cannot wait to see more.

I'm absolutely loving this graphical style. Would love to see more games use this. A zelda game in this style would look amazing.

I had both the GC and WiiU versions which I sold. An extremely stupid decision on my part. Now I wait for a Switch port while Nintendo keeps making the perplexing decision to not release it.

The battle music is some of the best I've ever heard.

The only thing I want from Splatoon is some kind of compensation for my time when a match ends prematurely because someone has disconnected. I feel like the remaining players who didn't disconnect should be awarded some experience points and money for the time they were in the match. It doesn't have to be a lot, just something so that it doesn't feel like your time has been wasted. It really sucks when you have to wait for a match to start and some time into it someone disconnects, intentionally or not, and you have just wasted several minutes with nothing to show for it. It's disrespectful to everyone's time. Something to show for that time wasted should be awarded, even if it's just a small percentage of xp and cash.

How about a poll nl? Who wants a new Rayman? ✋️

I absolutely love the art style used in this game. I would love to see a new Zelda game use this art style.

I hope to god it is Panzer Dragoon Zwie Remake, that's my absolute favourite game in the series. I've been wanting a Remake of Zwie after the highly underated first Remake.
Man, I'd give my left test... er, arm for that game to come out.

For me it's The Legend of Zelda Tears of the Kingdom but Fire Emblem Engage is right up there with it.

I'm totally fine with 1st and 2nd party titles being exclusive. 3rd party titles not so much. I mean there's no reason a game like FF16 shouldn't be on Xbox. Maybe Sony and Microsoft need to take a page out of Nintendo's book and focus on quality 1st party titles of their own instead of squabbling over exclusive 3rd part content. I can see Microsoft is definitely making more of an effort in that area. Sony Just seem arrogant over this whole acquisition.

This really does look like Goemon. I'd love a new game in that series but this just might do the trick.

I wish I'd known there was a bubbul gem from a bubbulfrog in each cave. I had to revisit a few caves to go back for the gems I'd missed.

Easy 10 for me. The game is pure magic.
I can't understand some people giving it a 1 though. I mean there's plenty of highly rated games that don't interest me but I wouldn't rate them a 1 because even though they aren't my cup of tea I can still see that they are well crafted and appeal to others. It just seems immature.

The only thing I don't want is a time limit. The rest is fine.
The new dog creature looks cool.

The Frog For Whom The Bell Tolls. Just kidding! If I can"t pick Zelda then I'd go for Kid Icarus. Which would be extremely unlikely, expecially when you take into consideration Nintendo's track record with the series. Oh well I can still dream. Maybe I need an Xbox Series X
