Unless it comes with a limited edition golden cartridge that also work on my Analogue 3D N64 clone then yeah I think I'm good with my standard physical edition pre-order.
Yes I'm definitely getting this and Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time on the same day too. This got both the NieR and Bayonetta related contents on there and as a NieR and Bayonetta player that is something I don't want to miss out on. It being an actual game deserve massive support from me as I also bought the game on Steam and will be looking to getting it on the eShop as well.
I like all these new updates for Mario Kart World but the more I play this the more I would rather just go back to playing Mario Kart 8 Deluxe on my Switch 2.
I love the new look and all the details of the entire game. It brought life and charm to the original. My only complaint is that there's no way to disable Navi's annoying voice. My other hope is that they also remake the Master Quest expansion from the 64DD edition in here too maybe as a post-game contents or something. I'm not expecting the Master Quest dungeons to make it to this remake but it would had been fantastic if those were since those are just re-used assets of the dungeons from the main game.
This is awesome, I'm guessing Nintendo is saving the Super Metroid remake for a late 2027 or early 2028 release. There's no way they would release two remakes during the holiday this coming seasons.
Game looks fantastic, seeing the trailer it seems to be more focus on action and survival rather than exploration and stealth since the Emmy dogs are no longer here. Sad that Samus could never explore a planet on her own free will anymore. She either got constantly chased by robo dogs or now by the Three Storms from Big Trouble in Little China.
These remakes are fantastic Capcom but when are we getting the original RE trilogy for Switch, you know the ones with the 32-Bit graphics, CGi cutscenes, fix cameras, and tank controls. I mean those ones are already on Steam and GOG, when are we getting those on Switch? It shouldn't be too difficult to port those to Switch 1 at the very least. Like c'mon Capcom I like these remakes too but before I get into them I want to relive the originals first so give me the originals.
So how come this new non-guest character that we had never seen before in our lives not in the actual base game? Why are we paying for some no name character to be in a game that we already paid for? Is he special? Are we suppose to want him? I could understand Tifa from Ehrgeiz, Mai from KOF, and Terry from Fatal Fury but this guy is just an out of the blue nobody. At the very least make him a free DLC.
While I love Ocarina of Time, I hope they had some kind of tease for maybe A Link Between Worlds HD remaster for Switch. That game just feel so wrong to be restricted to just the 3DS.
They got this much money in a short amount of time yet still taking the cheap poverty way out by using game key cards instead of native game on cartridges. Shame on you Capcom. You could had given us real physical game on cartridges. That's like working a four figure job earning millions per year while still stealing food stamps (fake money) from the poor cause that's what game key cards are, the food stamps of physical videogames.
A new Smash Bros. for Switch 2 is cool but I would at least just prefer a fighter's pass 3 & 4 (8-16 more new fighters, theme songs, and stages) for Smash Ultimate instead with an upgrade path for Switch 2. Now a Super Metroid remake before Metroid 6 Ravenous would be awesome. I'm also waiting for the Fire Emblem: Geneology of the Holy War and Thracia 776 remakes as well as a new F-Zero. 3D Super Mario and Wario Land also coming, yes please.
I assume we may get more than just the Ocarina of Time remake perhaps. If we're lucky we may get a new Legend of Zelda tease along with a Wind Waker HD port and A Link Between Worlds HD remastered. That'll be four Zelda games in one direct to celebrate 40 years of the Legend of Zelda franchise.
I guess Sony's commitment to PlayStation going all digital is starting to take a toll on their hardware sales now. Good luck, although I had not bought anything from Sony since the late PS3 days I'm still disappointed that they had to sink this low on their fanbase who are still willing to shill for them no matter what.
The first 10 movies were good, everything else just seems silly. I would get this if I could get the first 10 films:
Mewtwo Strikes Back, Mewtwo and the Pokémon Clone War, and Mew and the Wave Hero Lucario (Pokémon the First Movie and its two sequels: Mewtwo Returns and Lucario and the Mystery of Mew)
Revelation Lugia (Pokémon the Movie 2000)
Entei and the Crystal Tower (Pokémon 3 the Movie)
Celebi, A Timeless Encounter (Pokémon 4Ever)
Guardians of the Water City Latias and Latios (Pokémon Heores)
Wishing Star of Seven Nights Jirachi (Jirachi, Wish Maker)
Deoxys the Sky-Splitting Visitor (Destiny Deoxys)
Pokémon Ranger and the Prince of the Sea: Manaphy (Pokémon Ranger and the Temple of the Sea)
The fact that this free update applies to the Switch 1 as well and isn't just an upgrade path to Switch 2 owners is quite interesting. You think you had to play Mario Kart 8 Deluxe on Switch 2 to see the 5-8 Player options but no those options also appeared if you play the game on the Switch 1 as well meaning perhaps Nintendo is testing this feature for Switch 1 too and that it's not working quite well yet.
They could easily announced a Fighter's Pass 3 & 4 for Smash Ultimate with 4 fighters and 4 stages per pass and I would be happy. Maybe do another Fighter Ballot again, that would be fun. Fighter's Pass 3 could be chosen by the devs while Fighter's Pass 4 could be chosen by the gamers again.
This free 8-Player split screen update for Mario Kart 8 Deluxe exclusively for Switch 2 officially makes this game 10x better than Mario Kart World now. I mean c'mon Mario Kart 8 Deluxe now had over 50 selectable racers, over 30 customize parts, over 95 playable race tracks, a fun battle mode, smoother online play, trial mode, versus mode, mirror tracks, Amiibo support, 200cc, customizable Mii racers, Camera Chat support, and 4-8 Player simultaneous split screen play. Now that's an ultimate deluxe package right there, they may as well call this Mario Kart 8 Ultimate Deluxe for Switch 2. Now if only they add Mission Mode and Double Dash Mode then it would be perfect.
@Aurumonado Yes Virtua Racing for Switch had that but the performance takes a hit on Switch 1. Play that game on Switch 2 if you want a smoother 8-player VR experience.
Getting this for just Metal Gear Solid 4 alone is worth the price, Ghost Babel and Peace Walker are just freebies. Odd that both the freebies are on the physical Switch 1 cartridge but not the actual main game. It's like Konami is scare to include the main games on the cart for some reasons as if they don't want Nintendo fans to own their games. On the first collection only the NES and MSX games were on the cartridge but not MGS1-3. What's so scary about letting customers own what they buy Konami?
Oh well, I didn't buy this on Steam and probably won't be getting it here either. So long Wo Long and because you're not natively on a cartridge even if you do dropped in price it's still not worth getting you anyways. Maybe do better and perhaps someday I'll be a fan of your entry level game but for now keep trying. You got the right idea, just the wrong way of executing it.
The reason why I stopped supporting Square Enix is cause they just never respect their fans and they actually demanded respect. C'mon you can't disrespect your fans and then starting demanding respect in return, it doesn't work like that. Respect is earn, not give. What CDPR did actually deserve respect so deliver respect I shall give to them.
Already got this game on Steam but if some other company would release a true physical edition of this game for Switch 2 then I would gladly double dipped just for that. Same apply to Pragmata, Resident Evil 9, and Street Fighter 6. See these cash below, these could be yours if you sell me a true physical game on the cartridge version of these titles for Switch 1 and/or Switch 2.
I hope Nintendo gives us early Switch 2 adopters 20 free games after the September price hike. I remember when the 3DS first launch it didn't do so well so Nintendo dropped the price and give early 3DS adopters 20 free games. Hopefully they do the same for Switch 2 early adopters who bought the Switch 2 at launch.
I'm good with my 512gb EX for now. I might get a 1tb one soon once I plan to buy more games for my Switch 2 but for now I'm just too busy with games on my Switch 1 as I only had like 5 games on my Switch 2 so far.
Thank goodness that scam app is gone now. The fact that you are required to have a paid subscription to even shop and buy crap at Crunchyroll's super expensive digital store is a scam in itself.
@Noone2025 She probably won't be able to play some of them as Chun-Li wasn't even in most of those. She was not in Street Fighter One, missed Street Fighter III: New Generation, and was absence in Street Fighter III: 2nd Impact.
I think it'll just be a good fun action movie to watch, story will probably take a back seat though. There are some characters I like that are going to be in the movie but there are a few that I question as to why they even include in the movie like Joe. C'mon Joe is a random brute from the first game and afterward we hardly ever see him at all. I doubt anyone actually ask for this guy to be in the movie. If anything they could had just easily turn him into Cody.
This is why CD Projekt Red had my trust and money this gen, heck they even prove to care enough about physical disc (than Sony) as well by including CD in their name. That's dedication right there. This is going to be my six time throwing money for the Witcher III and I'm proud to support it.
@DollyrotsFan1 2026 is just the stock date, they hadn't announce a release date yet, heck they had not even fully reveal the game yet. All we saw during the June direct was a teaser trailer and nothing else. It's likely we may see something about the game in September, as far as I know Nintendo want this game released before the launch of The Legend of Zelda live action movie.
@AussieMcBucket Yes but only a digital copy, the code came with the console. You just had to redeem it as soon as you install it. With these new bundle you can play Mario Kart World online as well as get 3-months of NSO membership so in addition to the digital copy of Mario Kart World, you can also play all games that were release so far for the Game Boy/Game Boy Color, NES, and Super NES NSO. The only five systems you can't play any games from are Sega Genesis, Nintendo 64, Game Boy Advance, GameCube, and Virtual Boy games since those required the NSO Expansion Pack upgrade.
@Solid_Python Those numbers are global numbers only, UK doesn't had that many units sold there and yes Math is hard otherwise your info would had been correct the first time.

Again no upgrade path, don't bother with this one just play the Switch 1 version with boost mode on instead. It's way better.

Re: Metroid Ravenous Announced For Switch 2, Release Date Confirmed
This is awesome, I'm guessing Nintendo is saving the Super Metroid remake for a late 2027 or early 2028 release. There's no way they would release two remakes during the holiday this coming seasons.
Re: Metroid Ravenous Price And Box Art Revealed
Game looks fantastic, seeing the trailer it seems to be more focus on action and survival rather than exploration and stealth since the Emmy dogs are no longer here. Sad that Samus could never explore a planet on her own free will anymore. She either got constantly chased by robo dogs or now by the Three Storms from Big Trouble in Little China.
