Re: Rumour: Call Of Duty's Nintendo Release Is Apparently On Target For 2026

Serpenterror

No leave the Switch 2 alone, we don't need any Call of Duty game for Switch 2 especially since y'all can't even bring the main game to our large audience. Just keep going extinct. The Switch and Switch 2 are doing okay without these Call of Duty trash polluting the Switch 2 library. We already got Metroid Prime 4, we don't need any lame military trash on Switch 2.

Re: Persona 3 Reload Switch 2 Performance Update Now Live, Targets 60fps In Docked Mode

Serpenterror

Like I said before, had they delay this garbage to this exact month they could had easily release this game in a more playable state than their tone deaf day one release edition like c'mon we already got Persona 3 Portable, take the time to fix this whatever version and just make it a more polish day one release but nope they wanted the controversy, they wanted to make excuses, and now we finally got the "it's about time version of the game" that we should had gotten to begin with. Just awful timing, well it's here, it's the version that we should had gotten, should we jump for joy now? Seems like there's no hype to jump for joy at.

Re: Rumour: A Game-Key Card Alternative? Nintendo May Have Smaller Switch 2 Carts In The Works

Serpenterror

This fixes nothing as long as Nintendo doesn't let go of those fake cartridge known as game key card. Those should never exist. Scummy game developers will choose game key card every time cause of the cheaper fake quality than the more expensive valuable real game cartridge. Not getting rid of game key card won't fix anything. Nintendo at this point is a fake company making fake products. They are worst than a Chinese scam company at this point. At least the Chinese scam company would sell their fake product very cheap, game key card ain't cheap and aren't real.

Re: Mortal Kombat: Legacy Kollection Switch 1 & 2 Physical Release Does Not Include Mortal Kombat 4 On The Game Card

Serpenterror

@Toastmaster Those are mostly indie games cause they don't make games using the same dev kits as actual console developers (like Capcom, Square Enix, Bandai Namco, and Sega), they used Unreal Engine or Unity and games from those tend to have issue with any home console if not optimize properly since Unreal Engine and Unity are more PC developer software.

If the indie dev are lazy by just blindly porting it to consoles then the game will run like crap on consoles, if the game are well optimize for consoles then the game will be more well received on consoles. That's the only reason why most indie devs skipped consoles cause optimizing means they had to invest in more money and buy the actual dev kit to do it something a majority of indie devs just don't have the time or money to do.

Yes all six modern consoles does support Unreal Engine and Unity but only certain versions and indie will have to really sacrifice or optimize a few features or downgrade to get those running properly on console hence why those got PC release first or stuck on there cause they were made with PC in mind. Games made through Unreal Engine or Unity means PC will always get first dips on the game. While that's a win on PC's part, it's also a lost if the dedicate gamers or customers can't find those games since PC also had too many piles of garbage games litter on there.

Another issue are storefronts, not every game is available on Steam, GOG or Epic Game Store and some indie devs will have to really push their game as a free to play model or early builds to get customer interest just to get any kind of attention but this also they had to spend a lot of money through advertising and some just don't have the money to do so.

Re: Fire Emblem Shadows Makes Metacritic's "Worst Games Of 2025" List

Serpenterror

@Alex79uk They are all trash and even if they're not then likely they are just trash port of those that are already good like Sonic and Rayman, those game are always good but they don't originate on mobile. Any game that had gacha, is free to play, had in-game ads, had micro-transaction, is a live service, was made with phone in mind, or had loot box are automatically trash by default.

Re: Mortal Kombat: Legacy Kollection Switch 1 & 2 Physical Release Does Not Include Mortal Kombat 4 On The Game Card

Serpenterror

@Yalloo This is intentional, the Atari 50 collection is not. The Atari 50 collection was actually more well handle and all the DLCs included are games that were not purposely held back whereas the MK Legacy Kollection those games are held back, people were asking for those and they aren't getting them whereas nobody knew what would be included in the Atari 50 collection. Every DLC included in the Atari 50 collection are a surprise, if this MK Legacy Kollection even will have DLCs then it won't be a surprise cause those are games that we should had gotten to begin with hence not really a surprise, it's more a "well it's about time" situation. The only few things that were a surprise with the MK Legacy Kollection is the WaveNet version of Ultimate Mortal Kombat 3 and maybe the Sega 32X version of Mortal Kombat II and that's it. That's still not good enough though.

Re: Mortal Kombat: Legacy Kollection Switch 1 & 2 Physical Release Does Not Include Mortal Kombat 4 On The Game Card

Serpenterror

These guys had break every single promise they said they will include about this awful Mortal Kombat Legacy Kollection.

  • The collection was going to have rank online. Broken it won't have rank online.
  • The collection claim to be the most komplete ever, yet it's missing so many versions of games, even fan favorites like MKII Game Gear, Ultimate MK3 Genesis, Mortal Kombat Trilogy N64, and MK Gold.
  • All games (except the handheld versions) will have online play yet the Switch version of Mortal Kombat 4 isn't even getting online play.
  • They said that all games will be included on the game cartridge a few months ago yet Mortal Kombat 4 is missing from the cartridge version of the collection.
  • Show the Game Gear version of Mortal Kombat II in their launch trailer yet didn't even include the game in the actual release.
  • The Switch 2 standard version is $10 more yet didn't even get the complete version of the game both digitally and physically.
  • The Switch standard version is the same price as the other versions yet won't get online play with MK4 unlike the rest. Technically the Switch version should had been $40 instead of $50 and the Switch 2 version should had been $50 instead of $60. Digital Eclipse seem to be successful at ripping off their customers and people are giving them a pass.

Re: Random: Nintendo Switch 2 Welcome Tour Wins GameStop's "Worst Game Of The Year" Award

Serpenterror

This and that wheel chair game should had been free demos that came bundle with the Switch 2. Both are not triple A experience, lack charms and depths that other games had and they don't have replayability features that made you want to return to play them again. With games like Tetris and Wii Sports I could always return to play those as time killer and still had plenty of fun from time to time but these two after I play all that they had to offer, it just never grab me and doesnt had anything exciting to make me want to return for another playthrough.

It's like comparing Super Mario World to Mario is Missing. Super Mario World no matter how many times I beat that game there's always something about the game that made me want to return to it time and time again but Mario is Missing after completing it once I never want to return to play that ever again. Both the Switch 2 Welcome Tour and Drag X Drive are more like Mario is Missing and nothing like Super Mario World.

Re: Katsuhiro Harada Announces Departure From Bandai Namco

After ruining Tekken 8, he finally had enough. While I hope he had a bright future in whatever endeavor he is looking for, it's sad that Tekken is in the state it's been. Usually when the main creator of such a franchise leave the company, the series will either turn to crap cause the company doesn't know what to do with the series going further or they'll be like Konami and release nothing new for all their old franchise that no longer had any creators (Castlevania, Goemon, Rocket Knight, Sunset Riders, Fighting Bujutsu, Metal Gear, etc.) but just compilations or remasters one after another. Hopefully this means we'll be getting a whole Tekken Legacy Collection soon or at least more remastered of them for PC, Switch 1 and 2.

Re: Review: Octopath Traveler 0 (Switch 2) - A Bit Of A Retread, But Unmissable (And Enormous)

Serpenterror

This game or the Dragon Quest VII remake may be the final ever game I will buy on Switch 1 (and Switch 2 as well if all it has is fake games after fake games). I'll be going full PC and Steam Deck only starting 2026, consoles will be a thing of the past for me. I'll be getting that Steam Machine over a PS6, Switch 2, and whatever the new Xbox will be. Until Nintendo and Sony and all their greedy third parties knows how to make real games again, I probably won't be back and won't be sad if they all fall under either.

Re: Review: Metroid Prime 4: Beyond - Nintendo Switch 2 Edition (Switch 2) - Samus Returns In Prime Form

Serpenterror

Game looks good and all and I'm glad it had a somewhat open world in the game. Only disappointment is that the open world is just a big empty desert, I guess they need that to pad in more hours to the game. For games like this I don't think an open world is needed, just make it exporable and interactive. Also adding an annoying sidekick is just stupid, I know people need a guide to help them play the game but at least have the option to turn those off. If the dude doesn't play a role in the story then kill him off half way so people won't get annoy, if he does then give us an option to shut him up for the rest of the game especially on a second playthrough or something.

Re: UK Charts: Kirby Is Nowhere To Be Seen In A Quiet Week

Serpenterror

C'mon Nintendo should had expected this, doesn't matter how many contents Kirby's Air Rider had, people will still see it as a spinoff and usually spinoffs doesn't do very well in the UK. It's the same story with Sonic Racing CrossWorlds and Crash Team Racing remake, both which never started a franchise. Both are good racings games with tons of contents but they spinoffs and people only see them as filler titles to the main ones. Mario Kart 7 on the otherhands is a totally different perspective as most considered it a franchise Mario Kart game since it too had its own spinoffs. Mario Kart started a franchise whereas Kirby's Air Ride, Sonic Racing, and Crash Team Racing never did which is why those don't sell very well.

Re: Japanese Charts: Kirby Air Riders Is Off To A Flying Start

Serpenterror

Wow somehow the 5-year old Animal Crossing: New Horizons manage to find its way back into the top 10 chart. A rare phenomenon indeed. Also its seems like Sony's cheaper PS5 Digital Edition offering with Japanese as the only language in the human race similar to Nintendo's Switch 2 with the same scheme is actually working, it got to a good start for the time being.
