@Galaxy2IsTheGOAT Even back then we can't even save our game before the final boss. My first ever NES game (Super Mario Bros. 3) I play I just hope my over 30 lives are worth it to beat the final world, Dark Land. People who play games today are lucky they even had save points to insured themselves before the endgame.
This game or the Dragon Quest VII remake may be the final ever game I will buy on Switch 1 (and Switch 2 as well if all it has is fake games after fake games). I'll be going full PC and Steam Deck only starting 2026, consoles will be a thing of the past for me. I'll be getting that Steam Machine over a PS6, Switch 2, and whatever the new Xbox will be. Until Nintendo and Sony and all their greedy third parties knows how to make real games again, I probably won't be back and won't be sad if they all fall under either.
@Spider-Kev You'll like the second one more though cause this is the second one. The first one is a PS2 game called Red Dead Revolver. There's no third one yet, Red Dead Redemption 2 is just a spinoff and not part of the mainline Red Dead series.
@gurtifus They had to do it or else Jeff Jarrett will come get them with a guitar. As you know JJ owns Acclaim now and the new Acclaim had nothing to do with Atari or NightDive.
Game looks good and all and I'm glad it had a somewhat open world in the game. Only disappointment is that the open world is just a big empty desert, I guess they need that to pad in more hours to the game. For games like this I don't think an open world is needed, just make it exporable and interactive. Also adding an annoying sidekick is just stupid, I know people need a guide to help them play the game but at least have the option to turn those off. If the dude doesn't play a role in the story then kill him off half way so people won't get annoy, if he does then give us an option to shut him up for the rest of the game especially on a second playthrough or something.
Well what do ya know Atari finally put crossplay in Turok 2 at long last. I wonder if they will implement that same feature to a certain game or game collection that people are currently complaining about.
C'mon Nintendo should had expected this, doesn't matter how many contents Kirby's Air Rider had, people will still see it as a spinoff and usually spinoffs doesn't do very well in the UK. It's the same story with Sonic Racing CrossWorlds and Crash Team Racing remake, both which never started a franchise. Both are good racings games with tons of contents but they spinoffs and people only see them as filler titles to the main ones. Mario Kart 7 on the otherhands is a totally different perspective as most considered it a franchise Mario Kart game since it too had its own spinoffs. Mario Kart started a franchise whereas Kirby's Air Ride, Sonic Racing, and Crash Team Racing never did which is why those don't sell very well.
Another fantastic beat em up from Tribute Games. Nice that they use the Wolverine from X-Men Evolution instead of the one from X-Men: The Animated Series as that one had been use to death already. Definitely would be buying this soon.
Wow somehow the 5-year old Animal Crossing: New Horizons manage to find its way back into the top 10 chart. A rare phenomenon indeed. Also its seems like Sony's cheaper PS5 Digital Edition offering with Japanese as the only language in the human race similar to Nintendo's Switch 2 with the same scheme is actually working, it got to a good start for the time being.
Nice to finally get Of Myths and Monsters on NSO. Maybe this is a hint that a new Kid Icarus will be in the work soon. The next Super Smash Bros. could wait another 2 years right?
@Morsel On my PC, the rom is only 4 mb. The game is 1.6 gb on Steam and the eShop due to multiple extra like added borders, HD resolution support, and quality of life features.
My favorite is still the Wii U version of the game. Sad it never got ported to Switch or Switch 2 and it looks like it never will due to Criterion's recent layoff.
So why is this not on Switch 2? Fifteen years and they still manage to choose the wrong platform for it. I know many want this on Switch but Switch 2 via mouse mode would had been perfect for this kind of PC to console game.
Nintendo limiting the Switch 2 memory card usage to just microSD express card is one of the most stupidest decision in gaming all around especially for Nintendo. I know they want their games to run and load as fast as it could be but c'mon a Switch 2 game still load slower than a Steam Deck game and Steam Deck could use any microSD card. I load Cyberpunk 2077 from my Steam Deck via microSD and the Switch 2 version via microSD Express and the Steam Deck version load way more faster.
My guess is that it's not about speed that Nintendo was concern with when they choose microSD express card as proprietary for Switch 2, it's probably due to preventing piracy or a way to prevent people from easily copying files from Switch 1 to Switch 2. They don't want people to do the simple thing, they want it to make it as complicated as possible for people to transfer data. I also don't like calling these memory cards anymore either, they're just storage cards. If they are memory cards we would be able to save our game files onto them and easily back them up or restore them. Storage cards are card you use to store files or apps in.
Welcome back Dragon Quest I & II (I wonder why the fake Switch 2 version didn't return) and Dragon Ball Sparking Zero. Bandai Namco is lucky to have release these for Switch otherwise they wouldn't get more sales from the Switch 1 & 2 audience. Also the PS5 Digital Edition is a waste of plastic, Sony should just discontinued that SKU and sell the base and pro models going forward. Heck the PS5 Pro model is basically just the Digital Edition anyways so having both on store shelves will only going to confuse customers.
Nice, please let the next remake be Tales of Innocence R. It's a crime to leave that one on PS Vita since like the DS original, it too also never got released worldwide. Tales of Xillia 2 like Tales of Symphonia 2 weren't that great anyways, for anyone who play a Tales game, just play the mainline original and avoid the sequel that follows-up, usually the sequel are never good. They reveal more about the world of the prequel but they never go anywhere with the story and the new characters are forgettable. For games like Tales of Destiny, play the original and Tales of Destiny II (which is actually Tales of Eternia) and not the actual Tales of Destiny 2 which was a sloppy follow-up to the original Tales of Destiny.
Looks like a fun sequel to Kirby's Air Ride from the GameCube. Definitely would be buying it someday if it got sold for under $50 like the GameCube title. Yeah no way I'm paying $70 for a spinoff, that price tag to me is for mainline games only.
I don't see this guy lasting any longer with the company if this is the mentality he thought he knew about Square Enix's consumers. Telling consumer they're idiots as they'll aceept AI slop no matter what ain't gonna help your product grow in the mean time as Square Enix is currently bleeding money.
It really took them this long to make a Switch port? At this rate I already got the game on Steam so no point in re-buying it again. There's no hype for this game anymore either. The only thing that would make me buy this again is if there is a physical edition of this on Switch and came with exclusive contents not found in the old version.
@the_beaver Videogame in this time and age should definitely come with a multi-language option or at least include the 5 common languages of the world which are English, French, Japanese, Mexican, and Korean.
Love how they find young actors for this movie instead of relying on famous celebrity that we seen thousands of time already. The Zelda actress, Bo Bragason, is absolutely gorgeous and I had seen some of her films, she is a good actress. Can't wait to see her as Zelda in this.
Considering the Switch had like over 6000 games, there's no way Nintendo will ever complete that list of Switch compatible games for Switch 2. They need to just focus on the most popular ones.
It's not really that big of a deal if the third party dock is bricked due to the update. If it did prevent your third party dock from working just play your Switch 2 on the official dock for the time being and wait until the third party company workout an updated firmware for their dock and then return to it later.
Eventually Nintendo themselves will follow suit at some point after this. This is just them using Koei Tecmo and Omega Force to test the toxic. If the toxic works then they will eventually pollute the industry with it and go all fake this gen and every gen in the future of this life time.
Tbh I would rather buy this new Steam Machine console over a Switch 2 any day. At least with this one, you don't have to deal with fake games. Also people need to realize that PC are boxy hardware, that's what they always look like and this Steam Machine is just using that same style. It's literally just a mini desktop tower without disk drives, it's something we modern PC user nowadays called mini PCs.
Fantastic, I had been waiting forever to see this wonderful Wuxia story-driven RPG come to Switch and home consoles. Will definitely buy it day one if it had both physical and digital releases. Nice to see the lovely violin artist Shurai-Yue cover some of the soundtrack for this game too.
My hope for this movie will be very exciting. Also they are filming this in beautiful New Zealand where the Lord of the Rings trilogy and the Chronicles of Narnia trilogy took place. Expect to see some familiar locations in this despite the edit they will try of changing it. I'm also planning to take a trip there next year with the folks.
@EvilCT I believe that's cause they're older games. Majority of Japanese gamers already got earlier versions of these games on Famicom, Super Famicom, Game Boy Color, Wii, and Switch so most aren't entice to get these Switch/Switch 2 remakes.
Square Enix Aims To Automate 70% Of QA With Generative AI By 2027
Translation: They gonna go all lazy by that time. Won't be surprise if all their games are AI automated too. This is why Final Fantasy will never be good anymore or ever cause soon they gonna use ChatGPT to handle the story of their RPGs instead of a human like Hironobu Sakaguchi.

Re: PSA: Copy Your Save In Metroid Prime 4: Beyond Before You Enter The Endgame
I just play to beat the game [for now], not necessarily to 100% the whole game so this won't affect me.
Re: Mini Review: Metroid Prime 4: Beyond (Switch 1) - An Impressive Version If You've Yet To Upgrade
The game was made with Switch 1 in mind so I'm gonna buy it for Switch 1 instead.

Re: Call Of Duty Dev Sledgehammer Games Seeking Talent With "Switch Experience"
Call of Duty hasn't been that important on Nintendo since the Wii U and I doubt anyone on Switch or Switch 2 are asking for one any time soon.
