It's about time Call of Duty get with the time and finally made something useful for a change. Still this could be a mirage in disguise. Unless it's not fake then it truly hasn't return. I feel sorry for all the Call of Duty fans who had never held a hybrid masterpiece in their short lives. The world had already change but they still live in the PS3 era.
Wow sad to see that PlayStation basically disappeared from the top 10 sales chart this week. If Sony knew what's good for them they leave live service games behind. It's not working and people are now pissed that the no name PS5 game, Destruction Allstars, is getting shutdown soon. Stop Killing Games will come after them soon just like how they did UbiSoft and the Crew (another no name game that people pretend to like).
The fact that this 9-year old 3DS game (like Bravely Default) ported to Switch 2 couldn't even be allow to exist on an actual Switch 2 game cartridge is just infamy at this point.
The best part of this is that even after knowing this childish PC fanboys still believe that Valve had done no wrong and is looking for every excuse not to blame them as if Valve care. These are the same people that no matter what even if Valve gave them a turd fully gift wrap they will gladly take it no matter how it stinks.
Wow it's just the beginning of Summer and we already got 3 Pokémon-like games (Dragon Quest Monsters: The Withered World, LumenTale: Memories of Trey, and now Petal Runner) to look forward to as well as Pokémon Winds and Waves.
The new name change sounds better than the original name so I look forward to hear more about this. They could save the old name, Flames of Fate, for a spin-off or another sequel.
Awesome, I plan to get this on Steam day one. Will only get Switch 2 version if the physical edition is real or not. If physical is real then I may get it, if not then I won't even bother.
@kal_el_07241 First Xbox needs to be Japanese to own a Japanese company and with the Saudi prince backing Nintendo I doubt Microsoft will ever get them. Microsoft doesn't know how to make games like at all. I can't think of one where they actually made one themselves.
I don't think this game will be a survival horror like Resident Evil, it felt more like an action horror similar to the Final Fantasy creator's game, Parasite Eve.
I would be happy with just a full remastered of the first two Crazy Taxi games. I don't need a new entry but if Sega is making a new one then hopefully it had much polish and by polish I mean actual work is done to it and not use the lazy way of polish by smearing AI all over it.
@repsahj Cause it's a fake game on Switch 2 is why. The general customers ain't stupid you know. Most know which is the better physical edition and between the PS5 and Switch 2 versions, the PS5 physical version is just the better value.
@SmileMan64 Even Mario and Sonic are starting to slow down when it comes to their mainline titles. Mario hadn't gotten a new game since 2023 with Super Mario Bros. Wonder and the last time he got a new 3D adventure was in 2017 (9 years ago) with Super Mario Odyssey. Sonic's latest adventure was 3 years ago with Sonic Superstars and his last 3D adventure was in 2022 with Sonic Frontiers.
I had never in the entirety of this gen and last gen had I ever heard of any of those random no name titles (aside from this Genshin crap). If those are just mobile garbage then those could stay far away from the Switch 1 & 2 as possible.
While I may check it out, I don't think I will get this game unless I could find it for cheaper than the $70 asking price. As for 2026, I probably won't be buying much 1st party titles this year as almost all the games are either ports, remakes, remasters, or spinoffs. Only Fire Emblem: Fortune's Weave is the one I'm looking forward to and I'm not even sure if that one is a 2026 release or not.
They actually waited 10 years to finally do this, at this point those Switch numbers will just be bonus money for Nintendo if the Switch launch is successful there in India.
This is still the best Super Mario Bros. reboot Nintendo had ever made. Bought it day one when it first launch for Nintendo DS. My only complaint was that every game after this were just this same game recycle and rehash back to back. It wasn't until Super Mario Bros. Wonder that we finally had what feels like a true sequel to this masterpiece.
As much as people hated the awful storyline of the impressive Super Mario Galaxy movie, we all know that animated film was just an advertisement ploy for the Super Mario Galaxy 1 & 2 bundle games. Almost everyone I know went out to buy that bundle the moment after they went to see that animated movie. Miyamoto doesn't care if families or critics love the movie or not, he only care that the moment after people went to see it, they are likely to have interest in buying the games.
While I don't mind more Virtual Boy game since the thing only had 22 games anyways, I would appreciate it if we get more Super NES, Sega Genesis, and GBA games.
@acNewUpdates When you buy the Switch 2 version, you literally buying two versions. One is the 4K edition which is the dock version one and one is the HD edition which is the handheld version. The Nintendo Switch 1 only had one version which is the HD version both dock and handheld while the PS5 only had the 4K version dock only hence why both cost the same whereas the Switch 2 version is not and is a ripoff cause you're still just buying the same game.
Nintendo had the Nintendo ninjas everywhere outside their headquarter so even if you don't see don't think that they can't see you cause they do and they will get you.
It's obvious why Sega is backing away from this endeavor. They had seen what Sony did with Concord, Horizon Hunters, and Marathon and said good thing that wasn't from us and we will never be like that. This is probably one of the few good decisions they had made so far.
@Johnny_Arthur Mercury Steam is not a second party studio, they are an indie dev and would usually partner with a triple a dev if the opportunity come their way. For Nintendo they had only made two games for them, Metroid: Samus Returns and Metroid Dread. Castlevania Lords of Shadow: Mirror of Fate doesn't count cause that was for Konami which was ported to multiple consoles including the 3DS but not the Switch.
@LexKitteh Same reason why they didn't acquire Treasure and Hudson, it's up to the dev if they want to be bought. Usually Nintendo doesn't go around buying studio unless higher ups required it.
I don't get why he couldn't just use the money he had now, abandon GameStop, and just open his own eCommerce webstore and use that to fight Wish, GameStop, Walmart, Newegg, DKOldie, eBay, Etsy, AliExpress, Temu, and Amazon. You don't need eBay Cohen, just make your own and fight them instead otherwise you lose just like in that one movie.
I knew they couldn't deliver all of it, they overhype those projects too soon and knew they couldn't deliver it. My guess is that soon they'll release another Sega Genesis collection to make up for it.
One reason why the digital future sucks, also there's no reason why many of the Sega and Nintendo games should be delisted. Like what was their reason, did they lose the rights of those games to themselves? They own those games so there's no reason to delist those.
