Re: Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 Revealed For Switch 2

Serpenterror

It's about time Call of Duty get with the time and finally made something useful for a change. Still this could be a mirage in disguise. Unless it's not fake then it truly hasn't return. I feel sorry for all the Call of Duty fans who had never held a hybrid masterpiece in their short lives. The world had already change but they still live in the PS3 era.

Re: Japanese Charts: Switch 2 Sneaks In Some Huge Numbers Ahead Of The Price Rise

Wow sad to see that PlayStation basically disappeared from the top 10 sales chart this week. If Sony knew what's good for them they leave live service games behind. It's not working and people are now pissed that the no name PS5 game, Destruction Allstars, is getting shutdown soon. Stop Killing Games will come after them soon just like how they did UbiSoft and the Crew (another no name game that people pretend to like).

@SmileMan64 Even Mario and Sonic are starting to slow down when it comes to their mainline titles. Mario hadn't gotten a new game since 2023 with Super Mario Bros. Wonder and the last time he got a new 3D adventure was in 2017 (9 years ago) with Super Mario Odyssey. Sonic's latest adventure was 3 years ago with Sonic Superstars and his last 3D adventure was in 2022 with Sonic Frontiers.

Re: Review: Yoshi And The Mysterious Book (Switch 2) - Charming Enough, But Ultimately Lacklustre

While I may check it out, I don't think I will get this game unless I could find it for cheaper than the $70 asking price. As for 2026, I probably won't be buying much 1st party titles this year as almost all the games are either ports, remakes, remasters, or spinoffs. Only Fire Emblem: Fortune's Weave is the one I'm looking forward to and I'm not even sure if that one is a 2026 release or not.

Re: Anniversary: Super Mario First Went 'New' 20 Years Ago On The DS

This is still the best Super Mario Bros. reboot Nintendo had ever made. Bought it day one when it first launch for Nintendo DS. My only complaint was that every game after this were just this same game recycle and rehash back to back. It wasn't until Super Mario Bros. Wonder that we finally had what feels like a true sequel to this masterpiece.

Re: Japanese Charts: Tomodachi Life Overtakes Pokopia As The Best-Selling 2026 Release

As much as people hated the awful storyline of the impressive Super Mario Galaxy movie, we all know that animated film was just an advertisement ploy for the Super Mario Galaxy 1 & 2 bundle games. Almost everyone I know went out to buy that bundle the moment after they went to see that animated movie. Miyamoto doesn't care if families or critics love the movie or not, he only care that the moment after people went to see it, they are likely to have interest in buying the games.

Re: Harvest Moon Makes Its Switch 2 Debut This September With 'Echoes of Teradea'

@acNewUpdates When you buy the Switch 2 version, you literally buying two versions. One is the 4K edition which is the dock version one and one is the HD edition which is the handheld version. The Nintendo Switch 1 only had one version which is the HD version both dock and handheld while the PS5 only had the 4K version dock only hence why both cost the same whereas the Switch 2 version is not and is a ripoff cause you're still just buying the same game.

Re: "A Difficult And Painful Situation" - Metroid Dread Developer MercurySteam Suffers Layoffs

Serpenterror

@Johnny_Arthur Mercury Steam is not a second party studio, they are an indie dev and would usually partner with a triple a dev if the opportunity come their way. For Nintendo they had only made two games for them, Metroid: Samus Returns and Metroid Dread. Castlevania Lords of Shadow: Mirror of Fate doesn't count cause that was for Konami which was ported to multiple consoles including the 3DS but not the Switch.
