Id love to see Konami fix the current issues with Vol 1. I know some of the stuff can't be fixed, but some of the issues are just not called for.

As far as Vol 2 goes, yes, give us MGS4, PW, Ground Zeroes and the Phantom Pain. Maybe as a bonus MG: Ghost Babel (MGS GBC).

Lets see what happens.

Japan for me. The US background always just looked so...basic and dull. The Japan one looks fun.

I have but one question for this collection in regard to the new games.

Did they keep in the dinosaur saying "Sega!" at the beginning?

NGL, the japanese art is a very cool concept with the faux-ad, but i prefer the US art.

I will say that this collecti9n would have been a great opportunity to re-release Metal Gear Solid GBC. Maybe in vol 2...

@Nintendencies I noticed that too when I played it. It does have some RNG shenanigans that frustrate me. But it's still fun.

Love the original. I have a physical copy of it on Genesis, and i have the port on Switch. while not on my personal top 10 Genesis list, I still think its a great game. Im looking forward to this sequel.

With the new Indiana Jones movie out this weekend, i feel like I can say this.

@DemonKow So, my first time actually playing through and beating the game many years ago...I got the bracelet on the first level thinking, "I got it, now im good." and then i got a different weapon. Then when I got back to that point i had to do it all over again. So basically, I had to do 3 loops!

Excited about Kamek....but im still patiently waiting for Diddy.

This was a tough decision because both are good. I went with Japan because everything felt front and center.

I was iffy because I was concerned it would be more like Sonic 4 than Sonic Mania, but these first impressions give me hope.

The NA version IMO is just...epic! The European is a bit too minimal for my tastes. And the Japanese one is respectable too, but i can't just look past that NA art.

Growing up doing alot of thigns like GAme Genie and Gameshark, yes I had fun. I remember breaking FFVI with the instant rare items trick and I had fun. Heck, on Genesis, you couldn't even save games when you used Game Genie so that fun with JRPGs was limited.

However, once it hit the Playstation generation and using gameshark, I think i started ot not get the same fulfillment when I ended up beating games like Parasite Eve. Later on revisiting these games, I ended up getting that sense of fulfillment.

As far as Pokemon goes, I remember using Game Genie and gameshark to just get the pokemon that were not in my version. I actually remember going to a Band Competition while on the bus and having a list of all the codes to get the pokemon I needed. And i did eventually max out my pokemon. Though after that, I stopped with the cheating devices.

I never got into Action Replay, but i remember my nephew doing it and definitely breaking his pokemon game...and I guess i never really saw the point at that point. Thats just me though. Some of the stuff goes too far.

@ArcadianLegend99 Tell me about it. I literally just watched his videos, and then this came out. Im not as nostalgic on Double Dragon as many others are, but i am definitely intrigued and I thought the game looked fun. Ill be looking at it a bit more as more details come out.

In all seriousness...I want the Leg3nds games. All of them are just on PS3 and well...considering the track record of online stores being shut down...I don't trust many of these developers.

Honestly, at this point im just happy that i was finally able to secure a pre-order for the collector's edition.

@blockfight Id like to see a re-release of Tron 2.0. I think that game would look amazing with the refined graphics and stuff.

Nothing for me this week...but the fact that we got Bonze's Adventure makes me chuckle a bit. The level with the bloody pond is so terrifying and creepy that it makes me want to get the game just to see it.

It didn't make me excited about the game...but considering the love and time they're putting into it. Im sure itll be fine.

The new mechanics seem fun, but...im more intrigued by the story.

I held off on getting a 3DS until there was a good game that I wanted. Eventually when they announced the Fire Emblem Awakening 3DS I jumped on that. I still have it, but eventually I decided to upgrade to a New 3DS for the better hardware...among other things.

@Nua I'll take that. Though I found out that you can't transfer Mew from Yellow using the bridge glitch.

I have Crystal and Yellow...but the thought of being able to transfer all of them to home makes me a bit more inclined to want to get all of them....but I also do have Pokemon Go which lets me get more too so....idk

Man i loved the sega ones. Like having the Sega CD Version 2 playing in on the background with the Phantasy Star II sfx was so cool on the Genesis one, and the Medley on the SMS/Mark III was a nice touch. And of course "Day Dawns" Playing on the dreamcast one was an instant sell because i love that theme so much.

So...as a kid, i always remembered to wait for Shadow. Sadly I was willing to let time run out to make sure i waited for him. I remember a friend telling me that when i let him borrow the game, he didn't wait for Shadow...beause he said it. And i was like, 'well...you should always wait for your friends/allies"

And in Sonic 3...let sjust say there is a reason why i hate Carnival Night Zone....ok two reasons, that music is really bad too!

I remember as a kid never being able to pass the second level of Link's Awakening because I didn't know you had to destroy the enemies in the order of Pols Voice, Keese, and the Stalfos. Even after the stone slab/owl told you to do so. And then when I finally got it, i was so happy...but MAN looking back do i feel like an idiot for not getting that.

Sometimes i wonder if time constraints has something to do with it. Also, im sure some of these studios are working on bigger projects, so they just hire a smaller team and be like "hey, we are re-releasing this game, so make it playable by any means necessary" and thus we get the products that we have

I mentioned this above, but Wonder Boy Anniversary Collection wasn't listed on this, but it did get released this week. I picked it up and spent way more time on it than I was expecting. I highly recommend picking it up if you are a Wonder Boy fan. It's what the original Wonder Boy Collection should have been.

I thought that Wonder Boy Anniversary Collection was coming out today too

@PtM at least they're not releasing all version at the same time when they know the older gen versions might need some more refinements. I think everyone learned a bit after cyberpunk
