I think when I was younger I always saw this game at Blockbuster and I always passed it over cause od the bland box art. It's sad because this game is amazing. Great soundtrack and I like all the extra levels.

With that said...I am going with the Japan boxart. For goodness sake you can see the mouse on the bottom!

Heres my issue though. I absolutely LOVE the Wonder Boy franchise. But at this point, I am not sure if i want to just get the digital release only, or actually shell out for the physical collectors edition.

I feel like the Japanese box art should have ship specs that emphasize the speed aspect. I mean it looks kinda cool, but I have to go with the US/PAL boxart this time.

I keep becoming reminded that this is coming to an end. Need to pick up the FE DLC for the games. Luckily I won't need to get dlc for theatrhythm since its coming to switch and ps4

SO at this point, what else do they need to add to the N64 collection? Like its been super solid with alot of the big hitters.

Honestly, I like the NA version with the style, and how Snake is dead center. But i like the EU version with the other character and in color. That ad on the Japanese version ruins it for me.

Looking at all the DLC i need to get for the the FE games, as well as DLC for Theatrhythm,...its going to be well over $150.

Im still holding off on this collection until its on sale. Then i'll probably get it on Steam for...reasons.

I find it funny that even though Ms. Pac-Man is not in te game anymore, they're still using an arrangement of the Act 1 Intermission theme from Ms. Pac-Man.

Im ok with Carnival Night Zone 1...as im not really a fan of the original song (probably due to my memories of how bad the level itself is). BUt...not a fan of the other songs TBH.

At this point this collection is going to be a pass for me...at least for now. Maybe when it goes down in price or...other stuff happens, i'll take a look.

A bit disappointed but...im not selling it short yet. I still have various other versions if I want to hear the original stuff

I might get this for some of the Street Fighter games...i feel like the quality might be better than whats on Street Fighter 30th Anniversary Collection.

I'd like to get the deluxe collection from Strictly Limited Games, but im still waiting on their copy of Asha in Monster World to ship. It's ridiculous if you tell me.

I loved the sega ages port of Phantasy Star. I know that Sega Ages is done, but I'd love to see more games along those lines where they make those QoL changes.

I'm also still wishing for a port of Panzer Dragoon Saga and Skies of Arcadia, but I am just wishful thinking now.

I like EarthBound Endings, but what if it was EarthBound Continued to leave it open ended in case that there was a chance of a 4th game.

Personally, I'd love to just be able to support them officially if they released the game. I did play the fan translation, and heck, I even have a physical copy of the game. However, I want to support an official release because i feel like they do deserve that for all the grief we've given them to release the game (even though they've given us equally as much grief for not releasing it).

Star Fox Command really needs more love IMO. It feels like a fully realized Star Fox 2. And the multiple paths was really a good touch.

If I had to say which I think is the best its definitely Star Fox 64/Lylat Wars.

@EarthboundBenjy That to me is still the biggest question I have about this collection. Granted, I can go without having to hear Carnival Night Zone, but Ice Cap Zone is so iconic IMO. Time will tell if its the original stuff or not.

Every time I see news about this I keep thinking it's for the Cowabunga Collection. This keeps slipping my mind. Looking forward to it though.

This excites me so much. I loved this game when I had it on Namco Museum Vol 5 (why did I sell that). I have a feeling I know the answer to this, but I hope that it's in English...but considering that Genpei Toma Den wasn't I don't have much hope for it being in English.

Im getting this physical, cause I know at some point it'll go Out of Print due to licensing issues. Excited about it. I just hope the soundtracks are the original ones unlike the Arcade1up version.

I love the wonderboy series...but for once I dont really see a need for this collection. I have the remake on Switch, and the Sega Ages version on Switch as well.

I have a copy of MWIV coming when i get the CE of Asha in Monster World, and a bunch of copies of WBiMW.

@yoshis1900 Honestly, Id give it another shot. The beginning of the game is kinda slow, but it does pick up. Its very quirky and unique.

Its funny that people have thought that Zelda 2 is the worst. Yes, its cheap at times, and the formula is different, but...idk i still kinda like it.

Also, i find it funny that when I got my LoZ Game&Watch, the game i have played the most on it is Zelda II. Like ive been going to town on that game for some reason...especially over my favorite in Link's Awakening.

I remember this game on Namco Museum Vol 3 in Playststion. I thought it was fun but i feel like after a while it got kinda boring.

If we dont get Neo, thats fine. I could see Agent Smith show up...or an Agent if they can't get Hugo Weaving. I could see some sort of Fatality with Agent taking over the body or using his ability to decimate the enemy, or summoning sentinels. I could see it working.

Honestly...im probably in the minority here, but why haven't they had a collection that has Pac-in-Time or Pac-Man 2?

@Low the boss of that level always made me uneasy.

I wouldn't mind this being remade...but I also want to see a port of FFTA and A2. These games deserve to be mentioned as well even if they aren't as renown as the original game.

Was not expecting this...but its a pleasant surprise...especially seeing as how they handled Gley Lancer

@SpringDivorce love the Noriyuki Iwadare soundtrack.

Got a couple for NES. Shadowgate and Uninvited.

Shadowgate has many creepy deaths like breaking a mirror and it turning into a portal into deep space where "The grim reaper waits to embrace you." Seeing a close up of that Grim Reaper everytime you die is very nightmare fuel as well.

Uninvited had alot of memorable creepy moments (and some what the crap moments). I think what sticks out to me is the Southern Belle. And of course if you're playing the PC version (or have the Ruby in the NES version) seeing that random red skull appear is very terrifying.

@InkIdols I've started the game...though I have not gotten very far in it. Just the first palace.

I literally just talked about how I was looking forward to this. Darn. I'll survive. It'll probably give me time to finish up NEO: TWEWY and Persona 5 Strikers....
