the new update got me excited to revisit my island again...might as well use these codes and hop back in!

Perfect 10! played air ride on the GC so much as a kid with my brother. This is a game i've been desperately wanting a sequel for for so long, and it's finally here. It's so stupidly feature rich. definitely more than i could've asked for. Extremely happy with this game!

The amount of content shown off in the direct absolutely blew me away. More content is always welcome, but this is so feature complete i don't know what else you'd add to the game other than a few characters, or vehicles. So excited for this game!!

Wait, what? There's a world to explore in DK artist? I've just been sculpting this whole time...

I suppose we'll see! donkey kong bananza looks phenomenal, and i'm happy to wait for a new mario game since this upcoming game looks a lot like odyssey. obviously i'd love to see it announced sooner rather than later, but whatever the case may be, i'm sure it'll be worth the wait as usual.

I got a screen protector pretty much immediately. Nintendo's displays tend to be pretty scratch prone (especially that 3ds top screen that would essentially just scuff itself) so if it's something you're worried about i'd always apply one right out of the box!

I think the open world is fun but certainly could do with more content. i kind of enjoy the fact that there's no checklist of any kind, so it feels a lot less like a priority to play, and more of a neat little sandbox to mess around in while chatting with friends! i'll happily take more content, but i'm pretty satisfied with what's already there.

I'm sad charles is no longer voicing mario. He'll always be my favorite voice. But i'm also happy with Kevin's performance. The dude does a great job (his wario is sounding really good in MK World!). Very happy to see charles still going to cons and meeting fans though!

I'm able to play sf6 with the d-pad just fine! was very worried about the d-pad sucking again but it works shockingly well.

Pre-ordered Street fighter 6, Kirby switch 2 edition, and Mario kart world! Very excited to play nothing but mario kart world on launch day lol

Just beat this game on PC the other day. An absolutely phenomenal game with excellent writing. Definitely an experience i won't soon forget! Hope it comes to NS2 for those who exclusively play on Nintendo consoles cuz it's worth giving a shot for sure

@JohnnyMind Exactly! I'm honestly quite surprised at the negative reaction around the switch finally getting voice chat. I'm personally just happy that it's there. Not sure if i'll be using it much (depends on if my friends get a switch 2 or not LOL), but i'm very happy that i got the option to chat with people now!

I imagine (hope) that as time goes on more switch 1 titles will receive at least a graphical upgrade. I don't need new content for pikmin 4, a nice 60FPS and resolution increase would make me plenty happy since i haven't played the game yet.

Not the biggest fan of DLSS. It turns so many games into a blurry mess during busy moments. Feels like turning on motion smoothing on a TV. I Wonder if it's gottens any improvements now that it's coming to switch 2.

The whole game key card thing is the only reason i'm hesitant to buy this game. might just get it digitally. i wonder if i just get the DLC automatically if i link my capcom account to the NS2 version since i bought Y1-2 on PC already.

when it comes to nintendo consoles, the first party games are all i ever look forward to. that might change with how well some of the third party titles seem to run though...very happy to see sf6 in the launch line-up!

@TimelessJubilee This. It's nice to look back at all the games i've completed. I only play stuff on Nintendo Consoles and PC, and while i can certainly do without achievements (i like keeping track of stuff i complete in a notebook), i do really like seeing all the progress i made on my steam profile. its pretty swag. It'd be nice to see achievements on a nintendo console one day!

Aside from racing games, this won't change much for me. At least it's got a very cool audio jack....we're living in the future....

Double Dash is still my favorite Mario Kart game. 8 comes real close though! Curious to see if MK World will be my new favorite over DD once it releases

If the content in the base game is really vast and complete, i think the $80 price point could still be justified. And i mean, if i enjoy the game thoroughly I wouldn't complain about more content packs being released. Especially if they're themed LMAO

Play this game a LOT already on PC and steam deck. still picking it up on NS2 just because of how good it is. very excited to see a title like this come to the switch!

Really sucks to hear. really hoping the prices won't increase. they're already pretty hefty as it is. I'm not very fond of that president-type individual they got over there :/

my favorite reveal by a landslide! actually had me gasp out loud the moment i realised it was tomodachi. still playing the same 7 year old save to this day

Tomodachi is all i've ever wanted. still check in on my 3DS island to this day. That game has a very special place in my heart. also super happy about the new rhythm heaven and metroid prime. I'm beyond happy about this direct, and we haven't even had the switch 2 direct yet!

Hope they actually release it this time! Having, what is essentially, a built in shader pack in minecraft would be so nice to see. Love this! hope they'll bring it to Java edition sooner rather than later.

Darn, only for iMessage. that's a bummer. Reminds me of this other homage someone made to pictochat called Froggiechat. Would recommend that for anyone who would wanna use something like this on android (if it's still around).

As a massive Mario enjoyer and memorabilia collector I don't quite get the appeal of these coffee table picture books. So it's just a bunch of pictures of collectibles? I doubt anyone visiting my home would flip through this and like to know more about the Super Mario Tag Heuer smartwatch, or the Mario pringles can. But to each their own!

loving that the characters look more like their 2d art/retro counter parts! that's so exciting! luigi and donkey kong stood out immediately. they look fantastic!

DLSS (and any other form of AI upscaling) is such a terrible cop out. Most games i play on PC these days barely run well unless i have DLSS on and it looks horrid most of the time. Marvel Rivals, which released very recently, can barely hold a steady 60, and it looks like any other hero shooter from 2016. Whatever happened to proper optimization? Really hope Nintendo isn't going to rely on this trite.

@VoidofLight If you check the website of Catly it's even more blatant. scrolling through the "fashion" pages there's a bunch of AI generated images of cats that are ever so slightly touched up. if you look at the outfits they're wearing, or the positioning of their pupils it's immediately evident it's all AI. don't know how this slipped through at the game awards. needless to say it's a grift and this game won't ever properly release. probably get a shoddy early access build at most LMFAO

Played this when it came out. Impressive they got it to run on the switch! This game was a bit of a bummer for me personally though. It's cute, but that charm wore off real quick once i realized the game never gets more interesting mechanically/story wise.
