Tomodachi is all i've ever wanted. still check in on my 3DS island to this day. That game has a very special place in my heart. also super happy about the new rhythm heaven and metroid prime. I'm beyond happy about this direct, and we haven't even had the switch 2 direct yet!

Hope they actually release it this time! Having, what is essentially, a built in shader pack in minecraft would be so nice to see. Love this! hope they'll bring it to Java edition sooner rather than later.

As a massive Mario enjoyer and memorabilia collector I don't quite get the appeal of these coffee table picture books. So it's just a bunch of pictures of collectibles? I doubt anyone visiting my home would flip through this and like to know more about the Super Mario Tag Heuer smartwatch, or the Mario pringles can. But to each their own!

loving that the characters look more like their 2d art/retro counter parts! that's so exciting! luigi and donkey kong stood out immediately. they look fantastic!

DLSS (and any other form of AI upscaling) is such a terrible cop out. Most games i play on PC these days barely run well unless i have DLSS on and it looks horrid most of the time. Marvel Rivals, which released very recently, can barely hold a steady 60, and it looks like any other hero shooter from 2016. Whatever happened to proper optimization? Really hope Nintendo isn't going to rely on this trite.

@VoidofLight If you check the website of Catly it's even more blatant. scrolling through the "fashion" pages there's a bunch of AI generated images of cats that are ever so slightly touched up. if you look at the outfits they're wearing, or the positioning of their pupils it's immediately evident it's all AI. don't know how this slipped through at the game awards. needless to say it's a grift and this game won't ever properly release. probably get a shoddy early access build at most LMFAO

Played this when it came out. Impressive they got it to run on the switch! This game was a bit of a bummer for me personally though. It's cute, but that charm wore off real quick once i realized the game never gets more interesting mechanically/story wise.

One of my favorite releases of this year. always owned TTYD on my gamecube when i was younger but never managed to beat it back in the day. The remake finally got me to revisit it and see what happens past chapter 5 after all these years

Can't help but love the guy for making a bunch of their games accessible to other platforms. Their many acquisitions scare me but i sure do like sea of thieves!

Im a pretty big mario vs donkey kong enjoyer, so i'm particularly cheesed about that announcement. The peach game and luigi's mansion remaster looks neat, and i definitely wasn't expecting paper mario TTYD. that's just super cool to see.

I am a smidge disappointed about the f-zero reveal though. Call me a jaded pasty nerd, but seeing as the switch is nearing it's end of support i just don't see this game being around all that long. I was hoping for a proper F-Zero reveal considering it's been about 20 years since GX came out. Just a bit of a bummer, But it is what it is.

Seems like all this company makes is licensed shovelware that plays the exact same. The jumanji game they released recently barely looks any different gameplay wise.

This is my most anticipated game of the year for sure. The new art style looks fantastic, the overworld looks beautiful, and the power ups all look super unique and fun. I can't wait to get my hands on this!

Really sad but not unexpected. The saints row reboot was godawful and i couldn't see them coming back from that. The real disappointment from all this is that this also means the saints row 2 patch they were working on will probably never come out. But again, volition going down the ***** was inevitable.

Completely forgot Cadence of Hyrule existed. Gotta check that one out.

Played Payday 2 while impatiently waiting for the third game, and played a lot of minecraft. I want to pick up pikmin 4 but so many good pc games have been coming out lately!

@Snatcher there's a game called En Garde! In development that plays a lot like Sifu! Might be worth keeping an eye out for that.

Completely forgot this was close to releasing. Got a lot of faith in this game. Lethal League 1 and 2 were fantastic so i'm sure these devs can cook up something even more hot and sexy.

I do wish nintendo would come up with some new online rewards. Maybe some themes hahahaha....how silly would that be. if nintendo just made the switch's ui like...interesting...kinda like the 3ds....haha imagine...lol....

Homelander is a perfect fit for this franchise. One of the most interesting villains i've seen in a TV show in a long while. looking forward to this game!

This, the new 2D mario and wario ware are easily the best announcements of the year to me. Super stoked to revisit super mario RPG. haven't played it since i beat it on virtual console on the Wii! first time i ever got to play it!

remember getting this game way back with my brother. we played the hell out of it. Loved every second of it. very happy to see that the remake is the same game with just a few extras and no major changes. picking this up asap : )
