Bought this over the holidays, but this update is putting my plans on hold! Hopefully it doesn't take long to come to Switch

I already found Nook's Cranny in New Horizons quite sad, so how they managed to make it more underwhelming is impressive.

Where's LEGO Nookington's? T&T Emporium? I suppose they can't have more than the most recent game...

It was the best way to say "our teams are working on the Switch 2", without saying it. But it wasn't awful. Not the droughts we saw on Wii U.

There are some things I would buy, nothing I'm hyped for though.
Just screams "final year" for the Switch.

Seems like a cool eShop game? But I can't see myself pulling out £50.

I'll wait for the reviews, the fact that one of my favourite GameCube games has become a hit or miss, low budget Unity project isn't great.

I'm amazed at how many figures this company produces - the prices are insane. Of course they're a high quality product...but you could buy a proper piece of furniture for your house instead?
...or a Switch and BotW, it's cheaper.

Not shocked, it looks like a PS/Xbox game on low graphics settings. It would look good! Plus it's running on UE4, probably planned this port years ago.

Just interested in the gameplay differences. New demons would be fine but the story would need a lot of work. I'm expecting an extra open area with a random DLC chapter

Until very recently they haven't made any announcements about this game whatsoever, it's hard to tell if they're bad at marketing or hiding something.
...it's not like they have to worry about spoilers, these games are hardly new.

Wouldn't be shocked, Sega has been pretty good about porting and remastering Sonic games.
...but the quality is questionable. As is the DLC.

I'll get around to the demo, I'm a little cautious around supposed "cosy" games these days.
Hard to distinguish the good games from the Harvest Moon/Animal Crossing rip offs.

I honestly forget that GAME is still here in the UK. In my mind it has closed down multiple times.

Shin Megami Tensei IV. Wanted to play an Atlus RPG but didn't have a PlayStation at the time, downloaded this on my 3DS and was so hyped.

When the first big "revelation" in the story happened I thought it was the coolest thing ever. No internet, no trailers, no info.
Just staying up too late on a school night and genuinely experiencing something great. Wish I could have those times again.

They need to build up hype, the first trailer did that but it's died down. And I have no way of knowing if it will run well. A small preorder discount isn't going to sway me.

I'm sure I can skip it, or it will be on sale before the end of the year. The bar is low.

Haven't bought the DLC yet, but that's nice that they're wrapping it up.
-plus it comes before the update! So it can break the game even more and potentially be patched

Explorers of Sky DX would be nice. I don't trust them to make anything Pokémon Mystery Dungeon from scratch anymore.

I'm sure it required a lot of time and effort...but it's a little creepy!

It's a shame that we have the software to make anything, but people would rather make worse versions of what already exists. Doesn't help that they get publicity for just another Zelda/Pokémon Unreal Project.

I've accepted that generations 1-5 are for my "Generation". There have been games after that I've enjoyed...but they weren't the same.

Will it run for 100 years? Maybe, but I won't be following it that long (and not because I'll be dead )

The snowmen are cute...but the faces look like Boo Mario/Luigi from Galaxy?
Maybe it's for the whole Halloween to Winter season, save some coins.

It's been great to see them expand, hopefully Metaphor: ReFantazio starts a new generation for Atlus.
As much as I enjoy Persona, I don't enjoy the years of spinoffs, and attempts to do something new (Soul Hackers 2) haven't been hugely successful.

She did a good job, but her "Era" of Zelda is probably over.
...but I can't blame her for wanting to do the role I'd want to be employed and paid a Hollywood-style wage as well.

I only bought the DLC with the promise of new tracks, so all the characters and adjustments have been a nice bonus
Tons of content...but still tons of room for growth. It will last until MK9 in a few years.

Glad I bought it years ago. Didn't buy all of the DLC, but I'd prefer that to a subscription anyday

The Ghibli style would make any fantasy (or contemporary) setting look great...but this isn't Ghibli.

The cast of a Persona game is always worse in the spin-offs. And the Phantom Thieves were already annoying me by the end of P5/R.

The fact that Luigi's Mansion 2 HD is the current summer lineup for next year says enough about the state of the Switch.

Can't really justify it for myself. These are really well priced on the eShop, and even so I struggle to buy P3P.

@AndyRogan I don't have the DLC, I've been stuck with the Duckletts I transferred from Black and White. At least they get to waddle around now.

Haven't bought it, and the fact that people have finished it in less than a day isn't reassuring.

...but I've had two Ducklett trapped in Pokémon Home for years, and they're finally able to be transferred somewhere! That justifies the update for me

Pretty sure I stopped watching before he got to Hoenn, but those first few series/movies are still watchable.

The lore might make things more immersive or rewarding long-term, but I'm there for the gameplay and the world. At least theories give fans something to do while they wait for the next 5+ years.

@Vyacheslav333 I'd agree that it's due to different regions. I'm not sure if Europe faces more issues because it's an entire continent. Japan and the US only has their own laws, we all of our own legal quirks in UK/France/Germany/etc.

It could be as simple as "it costs more than it's worth". Why pay the license when the game has made most (if not all) the money it will ever make? If people want fitness boxing - buy the sequel. I'd rather have everything preserved but I'm sure the upkeep is expensive.
