Enjoyed Bayonetta 1&2, haven't played anything from the series since.
...I don't feel like I've missed anything. Seems like a lot of drama and performance issues.

The DLC looks fine. £25's worth of fine? No.
It's a new character, some megas. Everything else looks remixed with a vaguely monochromatic filter.

It's Pokémon DLC, probably fun for a weekend if a bit underwhelming.

I understand that they will have been asked to focus on Switch 2 features...who is wanting 11 people on their island? With added voice/video chat?

I doubt Nintendo would use AI, at least for that purpose.

But I don't buy that it's placeholder textures from a development build. This game has probably been finished for some time - it just has some underwhelming billboards.

I wouldn't say the N64 or Wii U Pro Controllers felt particularly good, but they didn't drift.
My Switch Pro Controller feels great but both sticks will drift at some point. Affects my experience with some games more than others, but it's one of the main reasons I haven't finished TotK.

It's a premium product, especially these days. Basic functionality shouldn't be something we hope for.

Still shocked that GAME is still a thing, so while it's a "challenge"....is it their biggest challenge?

Supermarkets and online stores will still undercut them, and the in-store experience at GAME wasn't particularly pleasant.

The price actually makes me feel more relaxed about missing the Switch 2's early years.
For Mario Kart, I'd get my money's worth. Same for the next mainline Zelda. But I'm not paying that as standard.

Will happily keep enjoying my Switch, and see how things are when the revisions/OLED versions release

The console price itself is better than I expected, but it's not much of a saving if the game price goes up. I assume that's deliberate so they can recoup their costs, but it's a bit much.

The Switch still has games coming out, and games I've yet to buy. Will be sticking with it for some time yet.

My memory is a bit hazy when it comes to Pokémon from XY and onwards. Could I tell you every Pokémon that has a Mega Evolution? Definitely not, I keep rediscovering ones I forgot about.

Regional forms and extra evolutions are the way to go for me. I don't find it exciting when every region needs to have a version of Pikachu, a bird, a dog, etc. Something old that's fleshed out could be just as interesting.

I'm not in a rush for it...but what is going on with Level-5?
They have some great games but there's something weird going on there. Like it's one of those offices you just know is a disaster.

@Magician Is that a real leak? Some of the artwork is mirrored, and there's no mention of Vengeance or its artwork either.

I enjoyed the atmosphere of Attack of the Friday Monsters, wish more games captured that warm, nostalgic feeling.

Hopefully Millennium Kitchen have only improved their craft since. I look forward to the demo

I find that a lot of my childhood games have aged well, but I've changed since then.
Particularly games like Pokémon or Zelda. It felt like a real space that I would think about even when I wasn't playing.

Nowadays I can see that this part of the story was padded, that's where the textures repeat. That mountain in the distance? Oh it's actually 2D.
I enjoy the gameplay but my immersion was lost at some point. Which I regret.

2024 seemed like the year we were supposed to get a Switch successor. But instead they're saving components and taking people to court instead?

That's really disappointing, I wish they would hire M2 to bring the original to modern consoles.

Shocked to see Soul Hackers that low. It's a product of its time, but it's incredible.

We don't seen that kind of atmosphere or calibre of demon designs often. And it's far better than the sequel IMO.

Can't say it looks particularly polished or original...but I do love Kiki's Delivery Service.

I'd take the current controllers for the Switch, but with no drift - EVER!

Sure, mouse wheels are nice and all. But I don't need my left stick deciding that I've moved it to the left and jumping down a menu.
Or a right stick that spins the camera with no input from me.
...I'll take basic, yet functional. My bar is low for the next generation

While a playtester is closer to the project than the average person....they're hardly high on the list of developers.

If it was a direct port where everything was sharp and in 16:9? I'd be happy with that, but maybe it's too old to translate into modern consoles.

@HugoGED I haven't watched anything besides the reveal trailer and the slipknot collaboration - still feels like I know too much.
That and Atlus JP have been sharing most (if not all) of the new/returning demons each day. Maybe it's deliberately misleading, but the direction seems clear.

Seems like a great deal for everyone except Switch players.

I'd be buying a game I own at least 50% of already. The performance will be questionable, every demon will have that weird texture LOD pop in from before.
The gameplay is great, the new story should be an improvement. But it's not the best offering for fans of the original.

Would prefer it if they left everything alone. I wasn't buying it with the expectation that it would be modern, appropriate, or in any way tasteful.

-but I also don't care that much. Mainly not a fan of games getting altered after I've bought them. I know they're legally allowed to but I don't like the reminder. Some illusion that I "own" my purchases would be nice.

They always look great in the pictures, but the items I've ordered always come with thin, less saturated fabric.

I'll have to try it out. Glad it's not just recycled Project DIVA songs, but some classics would have been nice.

Another fan of the Addison sign/Korok shirts. Prefer shirts that are more like "if you know, you know". I don't need some generic promotional image on a shirt.

I understand that a lot of the investment goes towards licensing, but give us some original artwork and clever designs! Or charge less, but that's unlikely.

Unfortunate, but that is the risk of using someone else's IP. Can't help the general mood of the Pokémon community either.

Maybe they could join together and make something of their own? There's tons of fan projects that become new(ish) games

I think certain things can only be done with a new game, so I would have been happy with a third version.
But with that said, when they released those third versions - those were games I was happy to return to. Can't say the same these days.

Technically it's impressive, but I deliberately avoided it outside of shrines/dungeons.

The ability to autobuild a fanplane, boat or hot air balloon ruined the magic for me :/
