@Friendly I'd say IV is the best introduction, but if you're talking about the Switch games then I would wait until V.
Nocturne is a great game, but it's a great game from fifteen years ago.

@danemord I think they have posted one video a day since E3, so I'm confused about why they started today.

Yuri's punk costume is the best one by a mile...but it's still not great. Even eyeliner can't save it.

Don't they release these everyday? I wonder why this demon is news but the rest aren't, because they have showcased way more exciting demons.

The colour palette and texture changes definitely make it feel more like Sinnoh, but the chibi models are disappointment for me.

I understand that it would force everything to be rescaled to match the characters but it would have made it feel more like a remaster. Right now it looks like a (well made) mobile game and then they added some blur effects.

I'm happy enough with AiAi and friends but these are nice extras.

If I'm going to replay the stages a hundred times then I might as well change up my character once in a while.

If you have addictive tendencies, then sure it could happen. But you could replace gaming with drinking, drugs, food, shopping, all kinds of things.

I think the view of gamers in the media and what gamers are really like has a lot of gaps. I spend less time gaming than my friends do on Netflix or other "useless" activities. People need to decompress somehow.

Seems like a really odd concept, but I'm interested!

Definitely another one to go on the endless wishlist.

Why does one of the best playing/looking games on Switch have to be a 2014 Wii U game?

Who doesn't love a patch for a patch? At least it was fast, the bugged shop music was unsettling.

I just remember having to do a race on the S.H.I.E.L.D helicarrier and being particularly annoyed by it. Mostly because I lacked the skill, and even when it worked it glitches out...

But apart from that I would recommend it!
Would be a great portable game on Switch.

But I fully expect Sakurai to be working on Smash or in a coma, the guy needs a break.

This is probably my main use of Nintendo Switch Online (besides MK8 a few times a year)

They seem to be suddenly aware of their audience for this game, which is nice after years of questionable choices.

Played the original but not Ultimax, so I would pick it up. More than happy to see the P3/P4 cast again anyway

Always find it a shame that they need to announce these things. Treating your employees with respect so they feel safe enough should be the standard.

We had no news on SMT V for years and it looks incredible, things are worth the wait. Same goes for BotW and it's sequel.

If you have nothing to focus on until Bayonetta 3 then that's your problem

It does look better, and I'm sure the texture budget was more limited back in the N64 days.

The previous Nintendo X Warriors games had an excessive amount of content but this feels lacking...

@TheFrenchiestFry The Japanese trailer was a full three minutes, and it showed off more than the Treehouse did.
I get that they're explaining it for newcomers but a lot of people won't be interested, and the people that are will be drawn in by the gameplay/music/aesthetics instead of an explanation.

I wish they could show more in these demonstrations, but they're really slow and don't achieve much. The SMT section was particularly awful.

I know I'll buy most of these games Nintendo, but at least show us something.

It's amazing that there are three upcoming Pokémon games - even a Diamond/Pearl remake - yet I have no enthusiasm for any of them...

Overall very average but some managed to stand out.

The shirts are a decent quality but the designs aren't that exciting.

I'm not surprised it's gone under the radar, seems more like a game I would get at a supermarket.
I'm sure lots of people will enjoy it though
