I don't get how seeing TWICE playing Miitopia is supposed to make me buy it...but it's entertaining to see idiots on twitter get angry.

Rather see them promote their new album, but I'm sure they will be busy with that next week

I thought we were getting Diamond/Pearl remakes so they had the time to make Legends: Arceus good, but how much can realistically change before January?

I would have been willing to wait, but it looks like we'll be getting two doses of Pokémon this winter...hopefully they're not underdeveloped

Are they all instances of the same model? That's pretty limiting, even if it's technically impressive.

Been playing SMT Nocturne for a few days, I'm not as bothered by the technical issues as I expected.

It is definitely a game from the early 2000s...but it's still great

Miitopia and New Pokémon Snap have sold better than I ever expected, it's hard to believe this is the UK charts!

It can run on mobile, even if it looks awful.

I wonder if it's more of a future proofing issue - the game's file size is already big for a Switch game, and it only has 2 out of the 7 regions added. It's current state will probably manage but in 5 years? Who knows.

As a figure it's decent, but I never needed to urgently get to the sky in the original version. It just seems a little pointless.

I don't see how running over to my shelf to get the amiibo is saving any time. At least I can save some money and know I'm not missing out.

It's alright if you want to grind away a few hours, but the original is much better. I don't feel a need to buy it again.

The amiibo compatibility is mess...but at least the game isn't affected too much. It's a pointless feature for me.

At least Atlus is finally bringing some games to the Switch. I missed their presence after their amazing 3DS support.

It's weird seeing everything made of Lego, even the official games don't bother with that.

Mario's aesthetic works for the gameplay...but it's so ugly in real life. I thought the theme park was bad, but this is rough 😂

I always assume they're making at least five games and new console at all times.

@ObeseChihuahua2 they could choose any art style they like...but they should do it well.

Hopefully they polish it up, but we'll see.

@TimLatshaw I doubt this wiped out the budget, it's just that they don't really invest in the games themselves.

They know that they will sell regardless - but even the remakes on the 3DS/DS had more effort put into them.

Well it's not like Sega is particularly successful with Sonic at the moment, even Sonic Mania was made by fans.

The outfits are better...but not very seasonal (for most of the world)

Wolfgang has been my number one since the GameCube days, I don't see that changing anytime soon.

Already played it on PC, don't really feel the need to buy it again.

It's fun, but it's nowhere near as good as the original. The town building/RTS/random dungeons were really unnecessary, and the DLC wasn't great either.

It might be terrible, but it's more than Animal Crossing is getting this month

The 3DS had tons of customisation added over the years, and it only crippled the system. The Switch is very much about reducing the barriers between you and your games - and I'd say the home menu reflects that.

Well it's just McDonald's toys, I wouldn't call it a major issue.

I don't see why they can't produce more though, it's not like McDonald's or the Pokémon Company are running out of money.

They used to have some good deals but now they're pretty average, which is a shame

I always thought ratings were just for people that were indirectly involved with games - uninformed parents, investors, retailers etc. In everyday life they seem a bit pointless.

There are still plenty of kids playing rated 18 games regardless. My family was pretty cautious but I still got around the restrictions back in the day.

I enjoyed the Wii U, but the Switch is such an improvement. I didn't really need the gimmicks - I just wanted to get straight to some well made games.

People have been running and modding BotW on PC for years, but it's still exclusive to Wii U/Switch. Lost World's DLC is the same.

I'm fine with it skipping the Switch, I don't really enjoy streaming games.

The portable aspect doesn't help either - play anywhere, anytime (if you have internet) doesn't sound as good.

Still one of my favourite games, ended up buying four different copies over the years.

You can still get away with a reasonably low poly count these days anyway. As long as I can support the silhouette then I don't mind letting normal maps do the work.

I don't think it's a big issue in the spin-off games, especially this one where they need a lot more work in the animation department.

I have a bigger issue with the mainline games where they expect us to pay for Pokémon storage and transfer....when we can't even use all of them? That's ridiculous. But I'm not losing sleep over any of it, it's just Pokémon at the end of the day

@Kevember Never understood why people rank a series like Zelda, it would be similar to ranking my friends. They all have quirks but that's what makes them special, so I love them all regardless.

....yes, but I guess it's a series that's personal to a lot of people. It's difficult to be completely objective.
