They're all really cool tbh (Other than Sword and Shield). Personally, I'm a really big fan of space, so Sun and Moon, and especially Ultra Sun and Moon, are really fantastic ones.

I had a new 3ds, so that was my pick, but I can only image how nice a new 3ds xl must have been.

Thinking of cracking out my Game Cube to play some Wind Waker for Zelda's 40th. No idea where my 3DS is, or I'd play Phantom Hourglass as well.

This was my first true Pokémon game. I love a lot of these mons. In fact, my absolute favorite mon comes from this game, Marshadow. Wish he got more love cause he's so cool to me

I was really torn between Snorlax, and Dragonite. Both are mons I love very much. However, perhaps in partial bias to ZA, I chose Dragonite. He's such a cool and silly little guy

Peak game, peak music, peak surprise update

It's just as peak as I remember it being. It honestly looks a lot like the first, but I think that's a good thing. If it ain't broke, don't fix it. The extra customization for Miis, and even just the whole island in general, is really neat. There are a few things they changed that I don't like (like all the thought bubbles being the black squiggles, rather than unique for what they are feeling, as well as a few other changes) but overall I'm really happy with it. I've been hoping they'd do a second game for quite some time, and this doesn't disappoint.

I will for sure be picking this up when it comes out. It'll be interesting to see how it feels playing it on the Switch compared to my 3ds.

I used to play this game all the time back in the day, I loved it so much. I didn't know they were still updating it. I SWEAR they did a "final" update, but I guess they couldn't stop lol. Idk if many people still play this anymore, and I'm sure it's changed a lot, but this game used to hit hard after a long day

One of the best games I've played (Totally not biased) Love the sound track, so I'm super happy to see it on here! Glad Zelda's getting some love, hope this is a good 40th!

The starters is the coolest set ever, but not for 650 bucks🥀

I assume that this is because Switch 2 games are now 10 bucks more than Switch 1 games, and Nintendo didn't want to be out an extra 20 bucks. 🤷🏻‍♂️ Honestly, I never even bought one, I way prefer physical games anyways

Happy New Year! We're getting older once again

I don't think it will be that big of a deal. The Pokemon Company are printing more cards than ever, prices are dropping because of it, and it's slowly becoming easier to find again. Hadn't seen cards on the shelf in 7+ years, but just saw a ton last week, and even more today. (While not a super large town, this ain't even a small one either)

Scalpers are starting to die off. People are getting their hands on cards themselves at MSRP, and just starting to stop buying from them in general. We are actually healing and I never thought I'd see it

I've actually yet to pick up Deltarune (Or even Undertale for that matter) I know a lot of people like it, I suppose it might be worth picking up, huh?

Really looking forward to the dlc tomorrow/tonight. And gen 3 is one of my favorite games, so glad these guys are getting added! I've got to wake up early tomorrow for work, but I'll probablly play this some tonight before bed, and more after work, can't wait!

I've only played a bit of the game as I haven't had much time. It took some time to get used to, and even then I didn't fully know what I was doing, but it's pretty good. I think with a group of friends it could be a lot of fun, but I don't know that playing it solo is that great (Kinda like smash I suppose, although I don't mind solo mario kart)

I don’t plan to get the game (at least as of now, maybe I’ll change my mind) but I have to say Meta Knight is really great. Might get that one just for the collection

I know a lot of people are hating on Bowser Jr. (at least from what I've seen) but I personally really like both his design, and voice acting. We'll see how it goes, but he might just be my favorite character if they do him right

I mean, I don't love it, but I don't hate it. I do think this movie looks worse with still images than it does when it's actually playing and moving. Who knows, maybe it'll look better on the big screen

It's peak, it's so peak. All the haters just gonna hate more, say this is just slop and whatnot. (For the bit, because they haven't actually played the game themselves) Pokemon is back, if gen 10 is anything like this, it'll be fantastic. Already pre-ordered, can't wait!

(If you're one who hasn't gotten this game yet because you see all the people online hating on it, give it a try. They just don't know how to have fun and most of them haven't played it before, they just say they don't like it cause they saw someone else say they don't like it. It's fun to play, and much better than whatever SwSh was. You never know, you might just find yourself drawn back into Pokemon like I was)

Not sure how good the modern Halo games are, but Halo 2 and 3 were pretty peak👍🏻 Would love to see it on Switch 2 for sure

You know, I always enjoy watching the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade. I've felt like it's slowly been going downhill, maybe that's just because I've been getting older, so it's lost a lot of the charm that it had for me as a child (It sure seems to be targeted towards the current children's age group) But this is really cool.

Also crazy that this is the 99th one, maybe I'll try and go for the 100th with my family 🤔

It's been clear it's been needed for the last few games, but I really think Legends Z-A stands out the most. Cut scenes feel empty. And surely it wouldn't be that hard to find people to voice-act for it.

While I would enjoy it if the whole thing had voice acting (perhaps that you could toggle on and off) at the very minium we need voice acting for cut scenes. I'm truly guessing Gen 10 will have it. It's time

I pre-ordered my physical Switch 2 edition back at the end of July. Only reason I waited so long was to see which store I wanted to get it through, both to get it the soonest, and for the best pre-order bonus. Ended up going with Best Buy. Really looking forward to this game! Probably gonna stay up stupid late Thursday playing it 💀

Ngl I've been so busy, and with Pokemon and Silksong coming up, I kinda forgot about Metroid. I think this could be a fun one, but giving us some more time too would be nice. That being said, I think it's coming out early December for the holidays.

Surely they're just playing the game for 45 mins straight, right?? What even is there to show off for that long...

Having some horror games to play, like Resident Evil and Silent Hill would be awesome. Red Dead and Fallout would be really neat, and I would certaintly pick them up if they did that. Marvel Rivals would be great, although I'm sure they'd have to cut the graphics down some so it can run fine in handheld mode.

But the biggest one I'd love to see is Halo. One of the only shooter games I've been a fan of. Fortnite and COD just aren't nearly as good

Would love to see more of Tomodachi Life, that's one that I wasn't expecting, (but was hoping for) so it would be cool to see a bit more of.

Professor Layton would also be awesome, loved playing that back in the day.

And who knows, maybe we'll even see Marvel Rivals get the port the devs keep talking about (like that's ever gonna happen)

@Tempestryke As Renan said above, you can patch the things that are unnecessarily draining battery. Happens a lot more with your phone than you might realize.

A longer battery life over all would need a new set to be manufactured. Like the og Switch got a new batch after a few years with an improved battery life overall, and I think something with the screen? Or storage? I have the old og one, and no problems there.

They can definitely fix it, they just need a good few hands to test it out and see what needs to be fixed. Bugs are expected early on🤷🏻‍♂️

It’s been pretty low, yeah. Right now I either keep it plugged in at the top (with battery caped so it doesn’t hit 100%) or play docked🤷🏻‍♂️ Once more people start getting their hands on their console, I’m sure Nintendo will send out a patch that helps battery life a bit

I’m gonna be honest, I haven’t really tested how you get the game chat to work, but I assume you have to be friends with the other people, right? So chances are you know the people you’re playing with. Sure you could friend randoms and chat with them, but I’m guessing 9 times out of 10 a game chat is between people who know each other. In that case, there’s absolutely no reason it should need a censor.

If it’s random people, sure I can see why you might not want to have to hear randoms cussing (or saying who knows what) or showing off things you don’t want to see, but at that point just don’t game chat with random people, lol. Idk, maybe it’s just me but I don’t feel like it’s a big deal there isn’t a censor, and in fact think there shouldn’t be one.
