Something I noticed: Recent Nintendo games don't show any year on the title-screen. In the past you could always see on the title-screen in wich year the game came out.

Nice review and nice score. If I am in luck this could become my game of the year instead of Zelda. Can't wait to try it out!

That's a funny short.

Judging from this funny trailer, it doesn't look like the islands immediately connect to form one big island. In fact they just get attached with a string of light, wich is a little bit dissapointing. I hoped they would connect like in the game "Islets".

About fricking time heh?! I never thought it would happen! Great for all the people who want all the titles on Switch. Ironically it also means we won't get Switch 2 before March 2025.

I played the game back in the day but stopped pretty shortly. It wasn't bad, but other titles got my interest. However the lettertype was far to small, so I hope for you guys they really changed that.

I didn't even know Animal crossing was on mobile.

Overheating as in your device dies? But the system always shuts off when it gets to hot right? Well, I played Zelda the past few weeks and I didn't notice a thing.

I totally agree, but that's the modern landscape we are in now. Can you think of even one person who came back after cancellation? I can't think of any! What I meant to say: Everyone deserves a second chance, but nowadays that just won't happen.

Sounds like a real hot mess! Disbanding the team behind the Awesome "Lost crown", placing some of them on Bgae2 (should I say more, trololol?) and some on a "Rayman" remake, with a cancelled person as a consultant. If so, Ancel can also be brought back on Bgae2. Ubisoft doesn't seem to understand cancellation: it lasts for Life!

As for a Rayman remake: I rather have a new one.

Game looks really nice and I definitely download it someday at a huge discount. However I am pretty bothered by the fact there's so much copy pasting going on from DK and Crash. There's getting some inspiration, and then there's nicking complete level-designs. Is it so hard to come up with your own designs?

I recognized some stuff from the trailer, but if you guys say its all new I take your word for it. Anyway, I also saw lots of stuff that looked new to me. Definitely looking forward to it!

Well, that would be Smash Ultimater of course! I hope that this time he allows more work out of his hands and into other hands. You don't have to do everything, Sakurai! You have a massive team to back you up. Stay healthy!

I feel the same way. The competitors are arriving, and if they are just as good or even better that might not be good news for Team Cherry. Nine Sols for example seems to be really good.

That being said I still hope to one day play a epic Silksong. Maybe they have trouble making it different enough from the first one? Maybe's that why it takes this long?

Didn't know the game came from my homecountry, Holland! I played it and loved it, but didn't finish it (yet). Nice that it finally gets a sequel, though I do recognize some areas and puzzles. Hopefully it doesn't duplicate to may things we already experienced in the first game.

Might be this month or in November to promote Mario and Luigi (and maybe a bit more on Metroid Prime 4). Switch 2 will be a no-show though, that will be revealed next year.

It was to be expected, Nintendo being Nintendo. Its more about the merch than the actual museum. Should of course had lots of unseen/rare stuff, information, information on the developers, etc. If I would be in the area and the price would be right I might still have visited it, but from what I have heard/seen they have missed the mark.

If they go with Tencent that doesn't sound good.

I think its a combination of many things: To many copy-paste open-worlds, to many sequels, to many (bad) Marvel-esque humor, to many versions of a game with pre-order dlc a and b, to many bad glitches, to many early discounts, Prince of Persia remake never gonna finish, Beyond good and evil 2 never gonna finish too, etc, etc.

Just go back to the basics, making strong games without nonsense. Prince of Persia: the lost crown was such a great game!

Absolutely NOT! The game looks amazing to me all the time. I play in handheld-mode. The game does have problems, but the framerate ain't one of them!

Looks pretty nice, although I hoped you could move free through the city. From the looks of it its still screen by screen progression.

Also: Wasn't Luke supposed to be grown up in this iteration? He seems like a kid again.

Finally some promotion! Better late then never. I'll probably only play part one of the demo, I have the game ordered anyway. However from the demo trailer the game looks a bit stiff (stiff animations). Was it also like this in the remakes of the nes games?

Anyway, am I wrong if I say this game still hasn't got a trailer?! Only that weird teaser and a bit of the creators talking and a few screenshots. I mean, I did order the game. But a little bit of trailer wouldn't be bad, Nintendo!

A pity that there isn't a physical version though, so I'll just wait for a huge discount.

I suspected as much. Uwe Boll is really terrible, that's probably hard to replicate.

This should also be on the eshop. And I am still waiting for the sequel.

Really enjoying it so far (7 hours in). It starts out okay but gets better all the time. Game looks pretty sweet too. I'll definitely pick up this dlc someday.

He looks a bit like Beedle. Lol at the paraglider: Though this game wants to do something different, it borrows a lot from Botw and Totk. Wouldn't surprise me if this also means the end for traditional 2D Zelda. It does look interesting and I am sure it will be fun (loved Botw and Totk), but I am also a bit sad because of the (possible) loss of traditional 2D Zelda.

Always had a bit of doubt about the series (I am a catlover though), though the demo was really fun and good looking. If this series really is that good I might give it a try someday.

So in the end the teaser was just for a new Famicom detective club, though that's still interesting. This one seems especially dark, seeing as it gets a 18 rating. That they are making a new one must mean that the remakes where a succes?

Sadly I couldn't play the remakes since I wanted physical or at least the downloads at a huge discount. Luckily the new one will be physical, so I'll get it down the line.

Someone on this site speculated a while back that maybe there are parts where Link is playable (based on the image of the box). Maybe there's a dual world setup?

Nintendo doing a dark game again?! Now that's unexpected! Curious where this is going.

that also would have been bad. Metroid Dread trailer was stunning by the way, and a sidescrolling Metroid that looked really nice.

The reveal was highly dissapointing. It says basically: You wanted a new Prime? Here you have a new Prime, with the same graphics! Surely I expected it to a bit more special, with a bit stronger graphics. So far I can't see this being better then the first Prime (or Echoes). Just another entry. Yes I expected to much, but maybe they delivered to little?

Never expected this franchise to return. It looks amazing, very nice celshaded graphics. And new enemies/bosses from what I can tell! So this isn't made by AlphaDream, but it still looks very promising. This and Zelda make me eat this Holiday, I knew Nintendo wouldn't let us starving. For me, this was the best announcement and trailer.

Yawn, DKC Returns returns...Just give us a new 3D Donkey Kong or a new sidescrolling one, you lazy, lazy hacks!

I really hoped they would do a topdown Zelda again. And they used the beautiful artstyle from the Links awakening remake. Though something seems off, I can't tell why. Well at least it has Zelda in the lead this time and gameplay that's a little bit different. I am sure it will be a fine game.

Does that mean everything Ace attorney (minus Phoenix vs Layton) is now on Switch?

Trailer didn't blow me away like the Metroid Dread trailer did. At least it showed that its a proper Metroid Prime game. And fun to see that they follow up on the Sylux teaser (I didn't expect that). To me it also looks like a spruced-up Metroid Prime, should have looked much better. Also, still on Switch! People expect a dual-release, but we have yet to see that!
